The lady (with zero personality) waiting on my daughter in law told her that she would have to get the racket restrung and pay for the stringing. The strings came loose because the knots were not holding. It is unfortunate that what could be a good shop has such lousy customer service and they don't stand behind their work. Their selection isn't too bad considering how small the place is. If you live near the store, it wouldn't be a bad place to frequent. If you're thinking of driving for a while to browse, it's not a bad place to go because there are soem decent restaurants nearby and you can make a roadtrip out of your journey. In comparison with Huron Valley Guns, this place is overshadowed by the sheer size and selection, plus, Oakland Tactical lacks a gun range which the facility could use. Since this is a Mom and Pop shop as they say, I'd encourage you to buy local if you're from teh area. I won't be driving so far to support them because I have choices near me but I'm glad I made the trip. Every gun range and store is worth a visit and a purchase to support the small businesses around us which give us choices when we need them. Kudos to the owners for setting up such a nice facility without a major corporate level budget like HVG. I like the personal touch of a small place. Side note: The guys who were working were both very friendly. One of them seemed to have been jazzed up on a bunch of caffein.
