I took my son and his wife to get new rackets and shoes for tennis. I spent seven hundred dollars. The week after purchasing my daughter in laws racket the strings were so loose the tension could not even be measured. The lady (with zero personality) waiting on my daughter in law told her that she would have to get the racket restrung and pay for the stringing. The strings came loose because the knots were not holding. It is unfortunate that what could be a good shop has such lousy customer service and they don't stand behind their work. I would give 6 stars if I could! Love this local business. Very knowledgeable staff that can help advise on the different qualities of racquets (swing speed, weight, etc) and how they impact your game, and similar advice given for strings. Also - they allow rentals of the demo racquets for only $5, and if you buy one within 3 months the rental fees go towards the price of the racquet. They also have an indoor hitting area to try out shoes and racquets. So glad I found this place. Will be back time and again! read more

Definitely the go-to for tennis equipment. They've got gear for other racquet sports too but tennis is definitely the focus-- that's what I came in for. Zoe was super nice and helpful, made great recommendations, and got my racquets strung very quickly. In general I just felt like the staff was very kind and patient with me. Cayman also has this cool offer where they let you borrow a racquet (or two) for a week at a time for $5 each and if you liked the demo racquet and end up buying it they'll credit that $5 to your purchase. I took advantage of that promo and found it very useful in trying to pick out a new racquet. Great tennis shop overall, will be coming back for sure once my strings break. read more

I was looking for more of a general sporting goods store when I stumbled upon Cayman Sports, right next to One on One Fitness on Boardwalk. I realized right away it wasn't what I needed, but it would be great for tennis or racquetball enthusiasts. In fact, the clerk told me they supply the local universities and that they get business from people who play racquetball at the fitness center next door. They had a small selection of tennis clothing and shoes and a really huge selection of balls and racquets, largely on the expensive high-end. read more

I googled Tennis Racquet stringing in A2 and was grateful to see this not to far from home. I took the racquet which I bought at Dick's over (unfortunately I hadn't found this place first, they have price matching and she told me I wouldn't have been charged for the stringing had I purchased it from her). Dick's Sporting Goods told me it could be up to a 3 week wait for the stringing of the racquet. But when I called Cayman they told me 1 day. The owner was very helpful with choosing the right products as well compared to the helper at Dick's. I will go here from now on. read more

Favourite tennis shop in the area. I have been coming here for many years at this point and they have never made any mistakes with stringing my rackets. I have also purchased rackets, bags, and numerous accessories without issue. I feel like their stringing prices are very fair, and I prefer to use them instead of my stringer at home due to convenience. Nowadays when you get your racket strung, they will notify you via email when it is finished. Also, they are very capable of getting your rackets strung immediately. read more

Never change string at cayman sports! I changed the string of my badminton racket there and the string broke after two weeks. I only used the racket for 3 hours! The store denied its string is poor quality and said their string "may last only for one hour!!!" Very bad attitude and poor product. Don't go to this store any more. read more

I dropped off my tennis racquet for restringing with Solinco Tour Bite Soft ( a soft polyester string), but when picked it up, it was strung with the regular Tour Bite (a firm polyester string). While they restrung it at no charge, they offered no apology for the second trip I was required to make. I'd recommend going someplace where they speak English as a native language. read more
