While this is a small store, I was impressed with their selection. I was here a couple of months ago and they had a much smaller selection of baseball merchandise. They use the space wisely. They have a larger selection of items for a sport when it is in season. A smaller selection when it is not. They had everything my son needed to play baseball. A great selection of new and used items. Everything I wanted to purchase used I was able to find. The used items were reasonably priced and in good condition. The woman at the checkout counter was nice too. I had no trouble using the Yelp check in coupon. If you are looking to make a few bucks, they had a sign on the door of items they are looking to buy. The higher retail prices mentioned in other reviews has more to do with the higher quality of the brands carried, their prices are in line with other small retailers for the same brands. The brands they carry will last a long time, so one pays more upfront but does not need to replace the item again, saving money over time. Single purchase is also a very sustainable friendly way to shop. But onto a review of the store, it isn't a place where you'll find fancy displays or wasted floor space but it certainly a place where you can find what you're looking for when you need things fishing, shooting or other outdoor recreation. They have hand tied flies, other flies, some other fishing products and they can help with learning. They carry high quality foot ware, outerwear, clothing (men's and women's) plus nice accessories. I ended up arriving late and by late, I mean at 9am on the dot when the class started. The class started one hour before the general business opened. A couple others and I ended up waiting outside for a few minutes until a staff member walked by and opened the front doors. After walking in late while others were already seated the instructor had to display some level of authority by making the late arrives get up and move from whatever seat we were in to the first row in the front of the class. Ok, be that guy. The remainder of the course was informative and engaging. For it to be eight hours, they did a good job in breaking up the content and scheduling the breaks/lunch. Boxed lunches were provided and there is a dedicated space for breaks including tables, TV, vending machines etc. The cost of the course seemed to be a value given the time, lunch provided and gun rental and ammo and limited range time which was provided. (Just compared to the cost of gun rental, ammo purchase and range time). The owner introduced himself and handed the certificate of course completions at the end as he must sign the doc. This place is bright (well lit), clean looking and spacious. Range/Lanes are split into two sides which both have a safety attendant. I have since returned a few times for range time. They offer memberships which I am not signed up for at this time. Maybe once the cost of ammo returns to normal.
