All of his advice was spot on and he then took the time to explain grip, stance, safety, and answer the multitude of questions I had. He even took the time to let me practice with dummy rounds so I was comfortable reloading and knew how everything worked. At no point did anyone make me feel bad about being a beginner - despite there being other customers who clearly were much more advanced than me. The rentals are also very noticeably well maintained. Since this was my first time shooting at a range and I didn't feel comfortable being alone, he incredibly kindly contributed his time to come in to the lanes with me and make sure I was comfortable, doing everything right/safely, and answer further questions. I can't begin to express my gratitude for Wes spending so much of his time to make this experience once I thoroughly enjoyed. I learned so much and I can't wait to come back! From the moment I entered the shop, I was greeted by multiple smiles and offered immediate assistance with selecting a good novice pair. My feet were measured and 2 different types of beginner friendly skates were brought out for me to try. While Outpost Armory Franklin isn't as new or shiny as some other gun stores, they have plenty of brands and inventory (including firearms on consignment). Personally, we liked the clean, somewhat rustic, humble, down-to-earth feel of the place. (If you want super fancy tactical vibes, that's cool too, but probably not the ideal place for you.) Most importantly, we received kind, approachable, and prompt assistance from the staff who exemplified customer service by listening attentively and offering helpful feedback/suggestions.
