Just had THE worst experience here. I'm a frequent customer of this store but Im starting to question if this store is worth patronizing. This visit I wanted to purchase a sale item and when I went to the cash register to get my additional 15% discount, the guy wouldn't give it to me! He told me that for as long as he's worked there no one got the student discount. EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS THAT ON THEIR WEBSITE!!!! And when I told him I've received it before many times he said that those employees were misinformed. But he didn't realize he was misinformed instead :) The store may seem attractive and nice but some of the employees certainly are not. This may become my new go to store. In the past few months I have discovered two retailers that I really like here in Atlanta. L. K. I've seen other people wear their clothes and I always thought they make a person look like a classy fashionista without spending big bucks and or spending a lot of time putting outfits together. Their clothes are mainly neutral tone and contain pieces to add to your current wardrobe. So instead of having to buy a whole new outfit each season; Club Monaco sells a few key pieces at an affordable price that you can add to your own collection. So that you will always look current, fresh and most importantly: look good for your age. When you reach a certain age in my case after 30...you don't want to look like you just step out of college but you also don't want to look like your mother yet...this retailer is the perfect in between. I find the neutral colors to be dateless...meaning that I can wear it year after year regardless what the trend is...also they make a beautiful perfect cream color blouse that is perfect for wearing all year round. The ladies here are fantastic. Every time I come in here there is someone to greet me and tell me what sort of sales they have going on at the moment. As far as price is concerned you get what you pay for these days. If you pay $50 for a coat then it looks like $50. I think Club Monaco's quality is exceptionally good. I cannot believe the high ratings here, i think they are mainly oriented toward the appearance of the store and perhaps the quality of the items. I can't speak to the second point. However, the staff is absolutely incapable. I was in the market to purchase a women's scarf as a gift, they do not know the difference between a scarf and a headscarf. Now, I don't consider myself a fashion guru, but this is pretty basic especially if you are selling both in your own store. THREE employees did not know. Secondly, the employee I've had a chance to interact with most IGNORED me repeatedly as I stood there waiting for help. She literally walked by me 4 times. After I flagged her down, she was like, "I am not sure if I can help, but I'll try." What do you mean you can't help me? You didnt even hear my question! You work here to help people, not ignore them. Absolutely terrible, I will not come back here unless I absolutely have to. read more

By far, my FAVORITE place to shop! I always feel like Club Monaco is a bit ahead of the curve with their color palettes and when they do introduce a color, the different shades of that particular color they put out with their line is just beautiful! The clothes have a nice modern fit and detail about them and you can mix and match anything in the store. My favorites are the black mesh like ties, the lavender ribbon belt, and the new line of suits they have for men. Customer service is always good and helpful and the store is clean and clothes are neatly displayed. Shopping Tip: The sales are very good here when they have them. Be sure to sign up for their email blasts. Did you know that you can get a student discount by showing your student ID? Also, did you know that they will alter your pants for you free of charge? Club Monaco is one of my absolute favorite stores to buy clothes beyond the usual "I like it". I love it, of course. And my love keeps growing and growing because I ALWAYS find insane bargains in there! I hope this review doesn't jinx my astonishing good luck in finding awesome pieces for 1/10 of their original price, because it would make me really sad. This is the place to find top quality, simple and essential clothes in solid colors or classic (yet trendy) patterns. Pants, skirts, dress shirts, beautiful coats and jackets, sweaters, feminine and graceful dresses and accessories, make Club Monaco the perfect place to find your apparel "canvas" and later "paint" on it by adding your favorite final touches. It's a fantastic starting point to get an attractive ensemble. These clothes will make you feel chic and stylish, but never snobbish or pompous. I have to confess I'm a sucker for the sale/clearance rack, and that I rarely buy their clothes on full price. I always enter the store hoping to get a sale item. Fortunately, I always do! I love having beautiful clothes but for now, I have to watch out to keep the $$ balance away from the minuses and red numbers. That's why when I need to dress up, Club Monaco is my first stop. They always have a small yet interesting sale going on...and I always end up finding something, and looking good and modish. The store is bright and clean with items folded/hung neatly which makes browsing easy. The dressing rooms are a bit small but they have a large, well lit mirror in each and there is enough room to change. In high traffic stores I would rather have a smaller dressing room and have more of them so the line moves faster during peak hours. Great staff and when they have a sale it's pretty good value. They have a student discount that is 20% off. Overall the staff really makes the store, they have been friendly and extremely helpful, even during the busy Christmas season. read more

Greeted by Jason who right away said, "nice shorts." He knows his company's products as this pair was purchased in the summer time. The store was renovated recently. The dressing rooms are awesome- tall and spacious; big full length mirror. The men's section is in the back of the store which gives it a bit of an exclusive feel. By no means is it haughty. Prices are competitive with Banana Republic and J Crew. Similarly, there are definitely some steals when the timing is right. Lastly, I'm not one who enjoys shopping, but i actually like visiting here and i like the humble but sharp image their clothes give me. read more

This was my first time shopping at this particular store, and I was blown away by how great the staff were here. I mean, clothes are just clothes to me in a store, but I was seriously amazed by the staff (though I love how the clothes fit and how you can find good deals if you're lucky). One associate was helping me find a certain size a few minutes in while another offered to take my clothes to a fitting room while I kept browsing around the store. They are super friendly, and it was super easy to strike up conversations with them. On an extra note: I love their 20% student discount! Though I feel the cut of clothing is made for dudes 6ft plus. I'm only 5'9''. The construction is always good, nothing has torn on me yet, and the fabric is very durable. I went to Club Macchiato for the first time this past week after a wine tasting and it was very swell. I picked up a very great quality Henley that my wife loves. Although my wife loves the Henley, i can't lie, there were some very lovely ladies working that day. Pretty sure the girl working the fitting room liked the Henley!! Score! I have always been a fan of Club Monaco. Great clean style with a chic layout and helpful staff. Only thing I don't really like about this store is that the Men's Section is tucked away in the back and a bit hard to see right off the bat. They offer a lot of cool promotions and services for their customers - private shopping parties, free hem, and of course, my favorite: student discount of 20% off everything including sale. I like Club Monaco - good, basic styles, polished and professional-looking, and lots of things that I both like and would wear. Some things are definitely a little pricey but I think they look nicer than some less expensive options and they do seem to be of good quality. The associates working here seem friendly and helpful, and efficient, and there are definitely some excellent bargains if you look around a bit. Some of the bargains are startlingly good - you may need to check twice to make sure you read it right. read more

This is one of my FAVORITE stores. They have a large selection of womens clothes-- in my size also. (size xs/s). The clothes are so simple and yet polished and classy. The clothes are something you might see the people in the Hamptons wear sometimes (minus the super bright colors). Good for professional purposes or just simple basic colors/palettes. We bought my fiancé's suit for our wedding here. The two guys in the mens department were extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I cannot say enough about how great they were. Because they didn't have the right sized jacket, we had to order it from a NY store. Initially the NY store missed the student discount that should have been applied, but when I called, they fixed it without hesitation. Overall, this has been the best retail experience I've had in a long time. We will be looking for ways to give them business from now on! read more
