His is not an easy coat to manage by any stretch of the imagination. Other groomers were intimidated or uninterested in figuring out how to manage his triple coat, but Maureen researched it and learned how to groom him thoughtfully, without leaving him naked and stressed. He always looks fabulously handsome (my bias) when done. Regarding the 7 hours mentioned in a previous review: this is a one woman shop. I can imagine the day getting long if there was another dog (mine?) on the day's schedule needing more time and attention to detail. Maureen does excellent work; perhaps she values that over timing. In any case, she's a careful, knowledgeable, hard working groomer. I hate to see her disparaged as "crazy", though that sort of insult is really only a statement about the person leaving the review. I recommend the Groom Room and Maureen without reservation - it's a 5 star spot for high quality dog grooming!

I've been having these dogs groomed for over 11 years every 5-6 weeks and this was my worst experience. Her response to another review of mine is a total lie, my dog's beard was not total matted, it never gets matted. I have pictures of the dogs 1 week prior. I don't think this lady has a dog brush? Both dogs had horrible chopped up cuts, nothing close to a schnauzer cut. This is the first time I ever gave a groomer a negative review, I just don't want someone else to experience something like this.

Many are really made to optimize profit often at the expense of the dog and their well-being. This absolutely is not the case with fusion pet retreat. We were completely pleased with how our Daycare trial went for our two dogs. We got a great tour of the facility. It was very clean and notably. It was one of the few places where when you go into the back, the dogs in their kennels are not barking and crying or showing any signs of distress . Most of them were sleeping soundly in their respective areas. The manager was great. Answered all the questions and gave us a very thorough rundown of what to expect. Sion is very unique and that they do many different things to accommodate the specific personality of the dog. And it was very obvious that the people who work here understand dogs and enjoy them. It is an open play experience, but they do not have the dogs play all day every day, which is actually very good for them! They have them take breaks so they do not get over stimulated-which is unique to Fusion and highlights their knowledge of dogs. The place is huge and not at all crowded. They have several different areas for the dogs to play so that they can easily group them by play style. My one dog it's only eight months old and newer to this environment so he was a little timid. We got many videos and photos of him playing with other More timid dogs, and several staff members who slowly introduced him to the bigger area and he was very happy. We will use this place again it again without hesitation !

I had to miss a class and I asked the instructor and the receptionist to send me the syllabus for the class I missed. Neither people followed through with the material. The instructor was odd about it which makes me believe they don't have one. I have attended 5 different schools in the last 20 years and this by far was the worst instructor and format I have come across. They don't have make up classes which I thought was odd as all the other schools I've attended catered to the customers needs. I enrolled so the class would not be cancelled due to attendance to help out a friend. I am now enrolled in Go Anywhere Dog classes. I took the initial puppy class and thoroughly enjoyed the class and instructors.

When he is here he gets a crazy number of steps which means he is active and engaged throughout the day. He isn't just kenneled in a holding space for the day. I want my dog to have a great day when I need him to have a safe place to be. He does that here. We also got a bath today and he smells great and his fur is so soft. Just love Top Dog!
