When we got our Shih Tzu she was squinting a lot in her right eye. I call the groomer the next day because her eye was still irritated and I wanted to ask what happened, the groomer said nothing. I then took my dog to the vet and she said her eye was scrapped. The owner DID NOT accept responsibility or offer any concern or reimbursment. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!! Terrible.

Downsides: * Every dog owner knows nicks and irritations can happen during the grooming process. Unfortunately, my small dog endured several including a severe one in her...well...private area. This resulted in a trip to the vet, prescription meds and a day off of work for me. After informing them twice, they kindly offered to remedy the situation. I appreciated this but declined and will likely check out other groomers in the future. * The length of time for a first-time groom can be wearing on your pup (took nearly 5 hours). It's good they take the time for a new dog and inform you in advance, but that is a large chunk of time so heads up.

Very nice to her, apologetic, and moved their schedules around to fix her cut. They handled the whole thing so well. We think it was just a one time incident and definitely will be back. Also, claimed it's my fault I did not get message they'd sent a little over an hour earlier asking me to pick up dog now.... Really?? The early closure and pick up was not relayed at drop off. There was also blood on entry floor. When I pointed it out it was like not big deal.... It was there when I picked up dogs.

Our family and dog are very traumatized by our dog's shaved grooming. I only want to let you know…read moreso they don't do this again to another client's dog. This is a Coton de Tulear, not a dog that is shaved.  This is a long hair dog, She is now not protected by her coat for sun etc.  This was her first grooming as she is still a puppy of 8 months old. I have brushed her daily and she only had a few areas under her paws that had problems  with matts.  Which they asked if it was OK to cut those out and I said yes, but not to shaving her WHOLE body. When i gave Riley to the groomer , I said this was her first grooming and I just wanted a trim for a Coton! if they had researched my dog, no Coton I have ever seen has been shaved. They should of called me and asked if it was OK to shave her. I feel they took the easy and fast way out to just shave her instead of bathing her, and brushing her and doing a cut.  I have been taking really good care of her and her coat. This was a really big mistake that we have to live with for a very long time. I hope it doesn't happen to your DOG!!!
