I've been a member of Orangetheory for over 2 years but with a recurring foot issue I find myself looking for an alternative to allow myself to stay off of my foot and let it heal (and not be tempted to run). I saw an ad for club pilates and decided to give it a try. Pros: 1. The reformer. I've used this before and I just like it. 2. It's a good variety with TRX, the reformer, even barre work. 3. You don't wear shoes but need grippy socks. They conveniently have a ton for sale and almost everyone in my class had to buy them. BRING GRIPPY SOCKS OR YOU PAY $13 FOR SOCKS. Cons: 1. Intro class is only 30 minutes. Felt cheated of a full workout. 2. No opportunity to discuss limitations with instructor prior as we jumped right into it after last class. 3. I couldn't hear a thing for the first half of class due to talking up front. The studio isn't really separate from the front desk. 4. Cost. Drop in is $29. 4/month is $99. Unlimited is $199/mo. They have some specials going on that reduce your rate for a couple of months...these are the regular prices. Front desk indicated all classes are waitlisted right now (not sure what she was trying to sell by saying that) I wouldn't mind returning if classes were any cheaper for drop ins or 4/mo, they invest in a mic, and add music. read more

I joined Club Pilates in July 2019 and I can honestly say it's been the best decision I have made, I have tried Gyms but feel that I never pushed myself and I personally work well in classes. There are all shapes and sizes and you don't feel you are competing with anyone you just go at your own pace. I signed up for unlimited classes, you can download the Club Pilates app and register up to 15 classes in advance. They also do a monthly happy hour so you get to meet new friends and meet the instructors (which for me is a bonus as I have met some lovely people). The studio in Coppell is very welcoming, all the staff are fabulous and very helpful. read more

Review for Newbies: As a complete newbie to Pilates, I have to say, I really love this studio. I've been a member for almost a month now and I'm really glad I signed up. If you've never done Pilates before and you're squishy like me, be warned - it's an intense workout. Sign up for an intro class to try it out and be prepared to be sore! The instructors are really great at explaining the sequences and offering alternatives for injuries, for those who need an easier approach, and for those who need a bigger challenge. I've never felt pressured to keep pace with my neighbors and I absolutely love that. There are all shapes and sizes working out along side you and it feels very welcoming! The studio is super clean. Parking is usually easy unless it's Thursday evening. The front desk associates are super helpful. There is a great selection of Toe Sox available for purchase if you don't have a pair or forget yours. The only downside I've experienced is the competitiveness with registering for classes. You download the Club Pilates app and sign up for classes. If they're full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. I'd say I usually get into a class I'm waitlisted on about 70% of the time, so it's not completely discouraging. You can register up to 15 classes in advance, and the farther out you get, the higher the chance you won't be on a waitlist. If you're planning on going for the first time, make sure you bring a pair of Toe Sox or be prepared to buy some if you don't have any. I believe they offer different membership options with different price ranges. It's not exactly cheap but when there are only 12 reformers available at once, it makes sense. They don't post the prices since other studios might have a different price ranges, so you'll have to call to find out. All in all, I'm a fan of this studio and I think most people would really enjoy it as well! read more

Ashley, your comment about allowing prepaying to open up classes would have been an option. Matter of fact that's exactly what I requested several times on Saturday but you said the ONLY thing you could offer was to cancel and refund. At that point in time I knew the club had absolutely no interest in working to keep a client. Customer service is such a rarity these days..... read more

This is probably my biggest regret of 2020. Here is a case where not every small business knows how to recognize when a new customer arrives in the middle of a pandemic to support the local business. I made my membership in November and in December I moved, in the 3 months of membership I must have managed to go to 2 or 3 classes. When I moved at the end of December I asked to be transferred to another school, I waited for 2 weeks and then they sent me a form, I filled it out and sent it back, until today I don't know if I was transferred or not, where is the new school or anything like that. The only concern that this studio has is to charge your card. I never received such a negligible service, with a place that doesn't care if you had a problem, you need to retake your classes on other days or simply know if everything is fine. I did not fail to pay the membership I did, maybe if I had canceled the charge on my card, they would have called me. But if I can give you advice looking for a Pilates studio, run away from this one. read more
