Made reservation at 1:15 pm for a class (my first class). Showed up at 1:10 pm and waited for over 20 mins, no person was there at all. Called, texted, rang the bell. Etc. Drove all the way from work to do my workout during lunch and What a terrible business to waste peoples time. read more

This is my 3rd or 4th time at this location and there's always been something broken over a span of two months or so now. First time, the video was messed up so I only did a few mins before having to switch to another sauna. I've been to both Flower Mound locations, Frisco, Addison and this Coppell location is the worst. I do like it because of the row machine and shower that other locations may not have. The staff is nice here too but I feel bad they even have to explain to members about the 2 getting stuck on the keypad so you have to enter the code a few times before getting in and the water fountain being broken every time. One time I went and there was only 2 water bottles after staff was gone with a sign saying 1 bottle per member, meaning after I took my 1 bottle, there was only 1 left for someone until the next day and anyone after would be screwed trying to do SAUNA workouts. Today before I changed out of my work clothes, there was jug of water with a sign saying pull out to open. I did and the cap came off, spilling all over my pants, shoes and floor so the girl had to lay another towel down (this obviously wasn't the first time it happened and ridiculous they can't spend $3 for another jug of water that's not broken or better yet get one of the two the fountains fixed). They also only allow one towel for cleaning machines off so you're cross contaminating between each machine you clean and you have to pay $5 to use a locker - all other locations have them FREE. Even with Cameras, I'm still paranoid about leaving my stuff out on a bench because it's not like they're going to reimburse you for something stolen while you're working out. I'll still come here occasionally for the row machine but definitely be prepared for the next broke down issue. Hopefully they get the fountain fixed at the very least. read more

Meredith was such a great help! She gave us a walk through of the place and showed us how to use each machine and sauna. When it came time to talk about membership she wasn't pushy but just offered what she thought would be the best fit for my husband and I. We'll definitely be visiting often! One huge plus for me was how empty and quiet it was. Didn't feel overcrowded at 6:30pm like typical gyms. I'm in my own space and can do my thing. Big fan! read more

I am a everywhere member that joined at the Flower Mound location. We recently moved to Coppell and my son wanted to start going with me. I inquired about how much he would be and even explained to them that my membership was initiated at the Flower Mound location. They said $30. I signed him up and even asked about billing. They said I would pay my normal dues at Flower Mound and the $30 for my son would be billed by them. We paid for a towel and a mat(which I have yet to receive)and left. For the past two weeks everything was good. Today I inquired about a guest pass for my sons father who is visiting from overseas. After I left the gym I received a call from the owner. She stated that my son being added at the discounted rate wasn't allowed and he could no longer come unless I registered him for a full membership at $59 a month. She was very concerned with who signed me up this way and came across very rude explaining that they are different franchises. I am fully aware of the different franchises, which is why I asked about billing and how much his membership would be for Coppell only. Clearly the staff are not trained well as they acted as if this was no big deal when I signed him up. I did not ask for a discounted rate, they simply said he would be $30 a month. So I paid for a towel and mat for no reason, and haven't gotten the mat. The owner is supposed to call me back tomorrow, not sure what for. The two young women who signed my son up were very professional. The owner is snarky and rude. I love Hotworx but this has tainted my opinion of them. read more

This location is the absolute WORST about being there during staffed hours. I've been twice to the store then called NUMEROUS times between the self-proclaimed staffed hours of 11am-8pm and haven't once talked to a staff member. Do Better. read more

I used to like this location and I don't know what happened, but I brought a friend in to try it out because I wanted him to try to join the club too. I love Hotworx, but the brunette lady who works here just put a sour taste not only in my mouth, but my friend's mouth, who I was trying to get join up. The staff member who basically kicked us out in a passive aggressive way could've approached us better than the way she did as if I, the Hotworx member for almost a year, knew nothing. I've gotten others to join up and we work different schedules to where they get off later than I, so I accomodate to their schedule. I don't get paid for it, but I feel it's common courtesy, if you want to show someone something, you go by their schedule, correct? I understand the rules, but I also hope you guys understand accomodating and working pass the designated hours. Especially, if I'm trying to make you guys money and not get paid for it. That was ridiculous how you practically kicked us out knowing we were going to stay longer because the other staff member had signed us up for two other classes pass the designated closing time. Is there a communication problem or was that yalls way of saying get out? Again, I used to like this location, but I'm not coming back to this location ever. I don't recommend coming to this location and if you want to join Hotworx, find a different location to sign up at and then maybe utilize this gym. read more
