Pros - 1) Good trial. 2) Sign-up was a breeze. 3) Good cancellation policy. Only 30 days. Cons - The Addison location is lacking in many areas. 1) High risk of injuries. Instructors are very young and not accommodating towards the average age demographic of the members. Not enough modifications for repetitive intense exercises that cause pain. 2) Not enough reformer exercises. Most of the class is spent doing calisthenics. We're spending $189 a month to take Pilates classes, but the class format is more like an intense fitness class than an actual Pilates class. 3) Students are not allowed to adjust the Pilates reformer according to our body height, strength, etc. which is very strange. At other Club Pilates locations, it is encouraged to adjust the reformer machine as needed for each individual. read more

She's passionate, knowledgeable, and so friendly. I was so impressed that I signed up for the 90-day, 8-class membership the same day! I have been a member at CP Addison since 2022. I love this place so much! The staff is incredible (shout out to Autumn and Sarah who create such a welcoming space), the studio vibes are great and the instructors are amazing. I have been taking classes from Stefanie, Daisy, Carolyn, and Grace for years now and I truly enjoy their style of teaching. When I first started here I had no experience with pilates and they were so welcoming to that. This is definitely a place to come if you are a beginner. I actually enjoy being here so much that I recently started working at the front desk! This review has nothing to do with the instructors, they are absolutely amazing and what keep me coming back! The low rating is for the management and how they handle booking classes. I paid $109/month, which gave me 4 classes a month; however, they only allow you to book your classes once each new month rolls around. Example, I would try to book my month of classes on the first of the month, but the classes I wanted to take for the first week were already booked. That would mean I would have to get on a "waitlist" and hope a spot opened up for that week. My schedule is not flexible like that. Also, they go off you billing cycle. For instance, my billing was on the 23rd of every month. So, I would only be allowed to book up to the 23rd and no classes after that point. That means you're really not getting a month of classes. You have to cram them in each month before whatever day your original billing date started. At first, everything was fine because Autumn was working there and would book me for the upcoming month so that I could get the classes I actually wanted to take. I haven't seen her in a while, and that's where the problems started. I tried booking for the next month like I normally do, and I was told I basically have to fit 4 classes in before the 23rd. Knowing that the class I want to take is booked up the first week, that means I have to cram 4 classes into a 2 week period. They make this WAY to difficult to book. On top of that, they didn't bother to try to save my business or membership. I asked that a manager call me to cancel, and I had to follow up with them later in the day. The manager texted me about how she started her day with a workout, which I found flippant and inappropriate. She canceled it without bothering to ask what happened or what they could do to makes things right. Now, I have to pay $40 per class to get the 4 classes a month I want to take. That means I'm paying $51 more a month for the same classes I had with a $109 membership. I'll probably have to switch to the Club Pilates that is farther away just to see if they will be more reasonable. Again, this is no reflection on the instructors. They have great classes, and the workouts are always amazing. I just wish management would do better. read more

I have SO much to say. Beware of the "first class free" gimmick. I was curious about Pilates so I claimed my free class with the intention of signing up if I liked it. Well, nobody else was there except for the Pilates instructor. Awkward. She showed me how to use the equipment, put me through a series of exercises, then gave me a quick tour while pitching me to sign up. That wasn't a class! :) That was a high pressure sales tactic where I felt guilted into making an impulsive decision out of obligation. She even mentioned how much this "personal training session" would have cost me if I paid out of pocket. HA! That's debatable and subjective. I'd rather have just tried a true Pilates class since that's what I was guaranteed. If I wanted a private lesson I would have paid for that. It just felt manipulative, ya know? So after, with this hungry look on her face, she asked me what package I wanted to sign up for. I was reluctant, but I figured I'd try it a few more times and get a feel for the actual studio experience. I told her that I travel a lot and would be in sporadically, asking if I could buy a pack of classes rather than a monthly membership, but they would not accommodate that option. I told her I would try a month then. She swiped my card, I signed, and they cheerfully explained the mobile app to me. Done! So, about 4 classes in I'd come to the conclusion that Club Pilates wasn't for me. That's ok! Not my thing. I love my gym membership and I'm an active person with other outlets. I asked the girl at the front desk how many more classes I had in my month, and let her know I would not be renewing. This is when things got UGLY. She made a face like I gave her a bee sting, acted unprofessional and stopped making eye contact with me. It was so embarrassing!! This is when she made me aware that I was allegedly signed into a contract and would be charged another month. I remained calm, but stood my ground as there was never any mention of a contract, nor would my signature be on any contract without my knowledge unless they did so deceptively (spoiler!) I told her I didn't sign up for a contract and was never made aware of their 2 month minimum when my CC was ran. Where was this in writing, please? When I signed for the charge on that electronic pad, had they applied my signature digitally to a contract? Shady! I kindly asked her to see the contract and she started huffing and puffing, looking around, and called her district manager for back up. She asked me to leave and told me that she would email it to me. I was blown away. I'll give the girl some grace- she was maybe 18, same age and maturity level as my baby sister, so I can't blame her for lacking the tact and etiquette, but upper management/leadership is at fault here and is sorely in need of training staff on business ethics and customer service. You have an obligation to the consumer to let them know what they are agreeing to. I laughed when I saw the email later that night- it was this wordy legal document with all these terms and conditions that I was learning of for the first time, and sure enough there was my signature scrawled on the bottom that they swiped during my initial payment which I was told would be for a single month of 8 classes. This was an invalid and voidable contract and luckily I have a bank that honored my complaint and pushed back the fraudulent charges. The studio of course still emails me saying I owe them money for a month that I never used, never wanted, and never consented to. This is not how you treat your clientele. There were 2 incredible instructors there, older women, although the younger generation of girls at the desk have really disappointing attitudes. I want nothing to do with this toxic culture, being treated so poorly simply because I wanted to cancel and was standing up for myself. The classes were okay but they were completely overshadowed by this incident and the way i was disrespected and sent away. Hard pass! read more

I rarely review. Here is mine being a member for 1.5 years. The trainers and front office staff go out of their way to ensure we as clients are doing good, and super helpful to people considering joining. None of my friends who did the freebie intro complained, and never experienced a hard sell. Some signed up, some decided it wasn't for them. That's why the free intro is there. I had a one on one freebie intro session, and loved how the trainer took the time to help me learn what was happening and why. Also gave me advice on how to accommodate some of my previous injuries. I do about four classes a week, and can see a physical difference in my body shape and strength. The contract is clear and concise. Nothing hidden and is simple to cancel. The rooms are clean, classes begin and end on time, and they don't have a turnover of staff (which is always a good sign in my opinion). Many thanks team. read more

1 year in, and it's truly been life changing. I have gained strength, balance, mobility, and confidence, and still gaining! It seems the more one learns, the harder and more challenging the workouts get. I always walk away relaxed and feeling great, never destroyed or wiped out. I hadn't exercised in years and so it was a bit intimidating going in but what a great way to workout without having to feel self conscious about who's watching, or what people are thinking! Everyone is too wrapped up in their own workout. Great instructors, great at making each exercise work for YOU and communicating clear instructions. I have fallen in love with Club Pilates. The movements are so long and lean and are helping me get stronger every day. (It reminds me of the moments I did as a dancer.) Raven and Morgan are my two favorite instructors. Raven is made to be an instructor: she pushes the whole class to be the best they can be, and yet is able to take the time to constantly pay attention to each individual and help them improve or modify each movement. I took a few private lessons with Morgan and she was able to teach me how to correct my posture so I can use all the Pilates movements as a therapy for my pelvic floor. She's super spunky, full of energy, and easy to talk to. Club Pilates is a hidden gym and is one of the favorite parts of my day. read more

While the instructors were amazing, I did not have a good experience when I decided to end the membership. I had already given a notice to end my membership prior to a month and the front desk had forgotten to register that in their system.I was being charged and I had to find out from my credit card statement that my membership wasn't cancelled. And when I emailed them and paid them a visit, all I was told was that the management has changed and it was the old management's responsibility to cancel my membership. After having spent my time and energy back and forth over emails they gave me 50% of the money back. I ended up losing money for none of my fault. Good business model Club Pilates! read more

I love Club Pilates Addison! I wish I can come to class everyday because I always leave the studio feeling energetic, focused, relaxed, confident and happy! The studio is always well-maintained, the management is always professional, responsive and thoughtful, and the instructors are very knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. My favorite instructor is Raven. I looooove her! Like other reviewers have mentioned, Raven's class is intense, challenging and she empowers me to do my very best and improve. She really pays close attention to all the details about my form, how I execute the movements and gives really helpful feedback. She has trained me to have better body awareness, and with that I am able to make progress! My husband gifted me some private classes for Christmas/New Year, and I took all of them with Raven. I always told him how much I appreciated the gift each time I returned home from training with Raven. Best gift everrrr! I had a class with Raven Ross today (CP Control 1.5) it's one of the best class of hers. I literally love all the workout she teaches but this one is one of her best. I find Raven very passionate for her training as she never get tired of even teaching or correcting my form. She is so focused on each and everyone one that comes for her class. I absolutely Loved this studio!! I fly into Dallas frequently for work and was looking for a Pilates studio that I could call home for all of my business trips. I search around online and found a few different studios, but I'm so excited that I decided on this one! The owner Sarah and the GM Kate are amazing! They were super welcoming and friendly when I called and personally booked me into my first class instead of sending me to their website to self-book. I love that type of service. When I arrived at their studio I was so impressed with the look and feel of the new space as well as the entire staff. Brand new equipment and top of the line Alkaline water helped out with my experience as well :) Once they got me all checked in and walked me over to my reformer they answered all of my questions in regards to my modifications for my back injury. The class I took was an intermediate level and it gave me all the challenges I was looking for. I worked my core, legs and back muscles and left feeling accomplished and full of energy.
