One of the best workout experiences I had in a long time. Two day after I was feeling the aches from the workout, which is a great thing - it works! The most wicked business and customer service I have ever experienced. Being 8 months pregnant there are no accommodations made for you. Customer service is terrible if I could give no stars I would. This business only cares about gaining new members and not keeping them. They have a minimum of 3 months that you have to stay with them regardless of your situation or circumstances. And like I said if you are pregnant or have any medical health issues their are no exceptions for you either . Why would anyone want to support a business like this ? I would NEVER RECOMMEND please RUN far away from this establishment. It's a shame because kindness really goes a long way but they lack that here! If you decide to join their membership program be aware of the cancellation process. They require 30 days notice, that must be received on your billing day. If not they will bill you again since the 30 day time lapse coincides with a billing statement! Not very customer centric. read more

I have had a wonderful experience trying Pilates for the first time. I was reluctant, being an older male, but having looked into it (Pilates was invented to treat injured French soldiers after World War I), and sorely lacking core strength and flexibility, I decided to try it. It's now been two months of taking about two classes a week and I can feel the difference. You'll click with some instructors more than others (Faye is my favorite instructor) so you'll adjust your schedule accordingly, but I've only had one that I really didn't click with. Each instructor has a different style. The studio is clean, the scheduling app and reminder notifications are terrific, the staff is friendly. So glad I did it. read more

I joined for a 3month trial (8 classes per month)only to find out that every time I'd attempt to book a class that they were booked up. Beyond frustrating because I ended up paying for classes that I could never schedule. I attempted to cancel early as I am moving PLUS couldn't find any classes that worked with my schedule. The manager was unsympathetic & merely said "come by the studio and say goodbye before you move" - seriously?! I can't use my class credits and I still have to pay for another month that I cannot use. I would never recommend this Club Pilates to anyone. The membership plans are impossible unless you pay extra & get the unlimited package where you can book classes every day - therefore blocking others from booking a class. So disappointed! read more

I have been a member of Club Pilates Englewood for many years. All the instructors are unique, and no two classes are the same. Today was the first time taking a class with Susan, Pilates Instructor. Susan demonstrated her expertise and experience in Pilates throughout the session. To that end, I would give her kudos for teaching the Control Class and assisting members like myself with different physical challenges complete this class with the sense of feeling balanced and in control of one's movements. read more

Very unorganized system/customer service. I recently moved my job to Jersey and wanted to find a nice workout place. I signed up to this place to try a free trial. It was great that they followed up on when I wanted to book my class. However, when I could still sign up online, they called me and texted me multiple times asking same question over and over again. I had to repeat myself I wanted to book a class in January as this time of the year is holiday season and I have plans on Thursday night!! The only available free trail time was Thursday 6:30 for me... it was almost too annoying they texted me again today asking if they should book my appointment for tomorrow. Sigh... how many times do I need to tell them I cannot make it tomorrow? They are simply not communicating each other internally. I wouldn't give them your phone number unless you are going to go to the class on the same they you sign up. They bug you so much. read more

Good Classes, HOWEVER, Make sure to read the policies: 1) In addition to full membership ,even an unlimited membership at $229 a month you will pay : * $15 no show fee, if you don't show up to class you booked for * $ 10 late cancellation fee outside the 12 hour window 2) You enter a 3 month contract and to cancel you must still pay one payment plus $100 cancelation fee 3) You are encouraged to book your classes in advance (and it makes sense to do so) as classes fill up. By doing so though you risk cancellation/no show as things you can't account for happen. 4) Ask for a copy of policies as none of this is explained verbally and you are simply handed a signature pad to sign. read more

I have done many types of exercises but found that Pilates is the only exercise I visually saw and felt results immediately! It really does transform your body! Do not recommend! Tried out the studio and canceled my membership after a few months. Staff was incredibly unclear and misleading about hidden charges that this counteracts any positive experiences that I had at the studio. I was initially told a cancelation was required within 30 day notice, which I complied to. When I continued to get charged afterwards I was told the policy is that you actually need to pay for 30 days of a membership AFTER canceling. This was never explained prior and the manager was not willing to accommodate. This customer service had left me feeling completely tricked and misled. Truly feels like a scam. In addition, the manager was nearly impossible to get a hold of and did not return my emails or phone calls. While the studio is clean and some instructors are knowledgeable, I regret my membership due to the management. There are other local studios that are much more reasonable and accommodating. read more

Highway Robbery. Thieves!!! I've never left a bad comment for anyone in my life. But this place is awful. I signed up for a one month trial back in April. I made it super clear that it was only for the trial. They've been charging my credit card $279 every month since then and it's now October! I called to ask for a refund and they won't give me a dime back. Instead the manager hung up on me. There are so many other amazing Pilates studios in the Englewood area. I decided not to return to Club Pilates because the instructors weren't as challenging as I wanted them to be. Just my personal preference. I told them back in April that I wouldn't be returning and they just continued to charge me. So dishonest. Very bad experience and I'm out over $1,000. read more

I have stopped by the studio several times, and have written emails; none of my concerns have been addressed. Curious that a review received such an extensive and prompt response, yet I have been personally ignored. A few months ago, I moved to PA from NJ and the thing I miss most is absolutely this Club Pilates studio! I joined as a member in Spring of 2019 and loved everything about it. The instructors are phenomenal and genuinely took an interest in helping me to improve and reach my goals (special shout out to Deb W and David!). The staff were always so welcoming and warm to me; I really felt like a part of the family. Although there are Club Pilates studios across the country (and I've been to a handful in many different states), Englewood is by far the best. If you live in the area, I highly recommend trying out a class/committing to a membership. You won't regret it! read more

i am an original member, since the place opened. it's been almost 2 years. i'm still going regularly, get a great workout no matter which teacher i have. i am stronger, in better shape than i have ever been, stand taller and more confident than i have in years. i work during the day so i am an evening class taker as well as weekends. the other members are wonderful. there is definitely a very friendly and open environment there. young and older are there. all levels of "in shape" are there, and everyone gets something out of it. very clean. very convenient. i'm hooked. read more

But when you tell them you're trying out different places around the area before you commit to a package...which you have to sign up for at least 3 months, or if the package is too expensive..the Manager Felix becomes so rude and condescending. BEST pilates studio around! I've been coming here for a year and I love the positive and upbeat atmosphere of this palce! The owners are very accommodating, understanding, and they truly care for their clients. The girls who work the front desk are always helpful! The instructors are very well trained and they keep the classes interesting by changing the routine up each class. I've never had the same class twice! Recommend this studio to anyone who wants to get in shape, lose weight, or simply take up a new hobby. Just signed up for a unlimited package. The pricing is a little expensive but most reformer studios are because the equipment is so expensive. The customer service is TOP KNOTCH. Felix is a great manager and is willing to help his clients and accommodate them so they can join the studio feeling COMFORTABLE AND EXCITED. I have done reformer work before and am looking forward to spending a lot of time here as It really tones and defines your body. Did I mention the equipment is all brand spanking new?? I am completely loving Pilates and I will say the experience is definitely enhanced by the staff, the management and the new friends I have made at Club Pilates in Englewood. I am 52 and I have worked out for the last 32 years, but with Pilates my body has changed especially my posture. My body feels elongated and I am definitely walking like a queen. I did not expect such a difference so quick but you do feel the difference, my abs are definitely tighter. Each class is different allowing me to not dread working out due to redundancy. I am really excited about look fabulous this summer and I know adding Pilates to my workout regimen is definitely going to help me get the results I looking for. I joined Club Pilates prior to the launch looking for something new to add to my exercise routine. I travel often and fortunate Club Pilates has a nationwide network that I can visit different studios across the country. My first class with Deborah got me hooked. She and the other teachers take the time to make sure all in class are practicing the proper form for our bodies and any injury. Each of the instructors have their own methods but overall after class you feel invigorated and motivated. I used to switch between the gym and Club Pilates but with the added hours and schedule I take classes 4-5 days a week. The club is very busy, but Scott, Felix, Deborah and the rest of the team know your name and have a report with each of the clients. Prior to joining, I had done many years of personal training at a gym and not much of a person to do a class. I enjoy the community of students I have met over the past 18 months that I take classes with weekly. In addition to the staff, they are motivating and make the class a great experience. For those that have had a negative experience, take the time to speak with Scott or Felix to give them the opportunity to make it right as they are committed to service excellence and strive to make their studios better. read more

I came in for a free 30 minute demo with a few girlfriends on a Saturday morning. The parking situation is awful and the space is very limited. It all seemed great and Claire was very helpful and encouraging so it made me really want to consider joining, especially since I have never tried pilates before. The general manager, Felix, started out super friendly, however, after the free demo was over he interrupted our conversation with Claire asking us, "What are you ladies thinking?" I am assuming he wanted us to sign up right then and there. One of our friends stated that we are considering doing the $35 drop-in classes whenever we wanted to take a pilates class and Felix strongly urged us to reconsider and at least sign up for the two classes per week membership (they only offer 2 types of memberships, by the way) that will cost $199/month. When we tried to explain to him that our gym membership is $35/month and we can go an unlimited amount of times and take an unlimited number of classes, he interrupted us and before we could finish our sentence he rudely says, "This was only a 30 minute demo and you didn't get the full experience so I suggest you try the membership for 3 months to really see results." We all essentially felt cornered and it was super awkward how fast Felix went from trying to be nice to being pushy and rude. I stepped in and said, "We'll have to think about it," and Felix rolled his eyes and shooed us away while saying, "Ok ladies, goodbye. Have a nice day." Rude. Unprofessional. Dismissive. It's safe to say that I will read reviews BEFORE signing up for a free demo class that I happened to see an ad for online. It's obvious that this place is poorly managed, hence, why they're practically cornering you into signing up and when you stand your ground, Felix dismisses you and turns into a jerk. read more

So annoyed at this business and they haven't opened yet. I submitted my phone number to their website for someone to call me and explain their prices because their prices aren't on the website. When they called, I asked them how much the membership is. The person on the phone took forever to get around to explaining the prices to me which annoyed me because that's the reason I sent an inquiry to their website. I literally had to ask the person two more times for the prices... another thing is they've been calling and texting my phone numerous times for the past couple of weeks asking me to take advantage of their grand opening special. I told the person over the phone the first time I wasn't interested so I don't understand why they keep spamming my phone. Earlier today I received a voicemail from this business asking me if I wanted to take advantage of the special again, so I text the number and ask them to please stop calling my number. They replied that they would take me off the list, which I appreciated, but a couple hours later I get another text asking me the same thing. And this is why I'm writing this review. I'm sure the classes and employees are nice but I'm very annoyed with the spam. read more
