I'm specifically giving Kara a 5 star review- she is AMAZING. Her class was tough, but I love that she explains everything, shows you how to do things, and corrects form! I have the passport membership and she's by far the best instructor I've been to. I tried to change my booked class the following day to her class, but unfortunately, the girls at the front said I would be charged since it was within the 12 hour time frame... huge bummer on that side of things especially since I'm paying the for the Mack daddy membership But if you're in the Frisco area- Kara is the best and teaches at a few of the locations!! read more

Newbie Beware! The trainers for the sessions are very focused on the experienced ladies; I got little to no attention as an older "newbie". After two sessions, my right hip hurt so bad that I stopped going. Now I am quitting. I'd hoped they would let me out of my 3 month contract - since I only went twice, and it's their fault I got injured. But no, they are charging me. I get it, but also feel like they did a terrible job overseeing me in my two sessions. Needless to say, I would NOT RECOMMEND this location. read more

Not helpful, unless of course, they are trying to get you to sign up. Once they get your money they tell you which classes you can and can't go to - excuse me? I'm paying a lot for this , and I mean a lahhht. And I can't go to more than half the classes? And if I miss a class you are going to charge me again? If I pick up a class but can't get there on time I get charged for missing,, the person who originally signed up gets charged for missing and it's all originally paid for to start with. This place is quite the racket The one class I did get into I could have done at home it was nothing more than a few leg lifts and arm stretches. I joined Club Pilates Frisco 4 months ago at my wits end trying to get into shape with menopause. Well, I have lost 10 lbs, and have seen a noticeable improvement in my muscle tone. I work full time, and still manage to get to 4-5 classes a week. I'm an organized person, so setting a schedule that works for me was no issue, and this important part of my healthy new lifestyle has become a top priority. The cancelation policy is completely reasonable, and I honestly think they could charge more for "no shows" as sometimes there are empty reformers which is really unfortunate. The staff is so welcoming and the instructors are all great! It's the most fun you will have getting in shape. Thanks to some of my regular faves... Caroline L, Honey C, Holly C, Ellen, and Natalie (Frisco North). I took some classes over the holidays, on days I typically wouldn't be there and met some new instructors, all extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My only regret is I didn't start sooner! Scheduling Nightmare / Don't Recommend I love Pilates, but not at Club Pilates. They sell memberships, knowing most people won't use the packages they sign up for. Most likely, you'll start as a level one which means you'll have 2, sometimes 3 classes per day to choose from. They will be full at the beginning of your monthly membership, so you won't be able to get in right away. Class times are not desirable if you work during the day. SO DISAPPOINTED. I'm a member of several small studios and accustomed to smaller class sizes and scheduling in advance. I'm not accustomed to only have 2 or 3 options depending on the day to choose from. This studio is unethical when selling memberships. There are better places to do Pilates in Frisco. read more

Tried a sample class here. The people that work there are very unwelcoming. Made it a point of saying they weren't sure if we'd be able to get in the class since we were 4 minutes late. The sample class was very basic and provides no insight into how their actually classes are so pretty pointless even for a beginner. Also, very high pressure sales tactics at the end. Didn't find or read the Reddit posts about Club Pilates until after we attended the sample class. Now it all makes more sense. read more

I have been going here for 2 years. It is such a good overall workout including core. I hate doing core work at home but love how this is integrated into every workout. Love the instructors. There are different levels of class so you can challenge yourself. Each instructor teaches differently so the workouts are never the same. There are lots of class times available. If the class you want is booked up you can get on the waitlist and usually you'll get in. Instructors are sensitive to any physical issues you may have and help you modify. I highly recommend. This will not work for anyone that does not have a schedule set in stone. I'm a stay at home mom and this does not work for me. I honored the required 3 months and called to cancel because their limited class availability does not work for me, literally EVERY class is on a waitlist if you can't schedule weeks in advance. Deanna will tell you that you didn't get on enough waitlists. I explained that I did, and she ARGUED that I did not. It felt like she was implying that I am lying. Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. I'm now on the hook for a 4th month which will go unused just as the 3rd month because I reiterate unless you can book classes at least 3 weeks in advance (I can't) do not waste your money on this company. Deanna has no problem charging you for an additional 30 days regardless of there not be classes available without a waitlist stacked 9 people deep. read more

This place has amazing instructors but an unfair no win practice towards its clients. The waitlists for classes are weeks out and their cancellation policy is on the extreme. When you enroll you are told to "just send us a message" we realize things happen. However, that's not true and the system automatically charges you 10 dollars. On a waitlist and you move into the class with 5 hours notice and immediately cancel as well as send a text. Not good enough. I'd suggest enrolling in a Pilates studio where you have a spot and can build a routine around or a gym that has a reformer if you are not into mat pilates. read more

I'm so grateful to have found Club Pilates, Frisco! I've had a serious illness for over 8 years and recently have been improving enough to no longer be couch ridden. My muscles have atrophied from head to toe so I was very concerned about doing anything that would cause injury. I started two months ago and am going slow doing only one class a week and already feel strength in my body that I haven't felt in 8 years! I recently increased to twice a week and went up a half level in intensity and am doing great with it! Before my illness, I worked out 5 days a week and was fit and strong. I've tried all kinds of exercise to start back with and Pilates is by far not only the best option for me now, I wish that I had discovered it many years ago! It's truly a complete body workout and is working the core like no other I've done in my entire life. In addition to loving the workout and the club, I can't say enough good things about Nathalie and Christopher! Christopher is so personable and helpful any time I've needed help! And my favorite instructors are Alicia and Alexis! I'm sure there are others but I've taken their classes the most and just love them! They have been very careful to help me adjust the level that works best for my situation and are also good to coach me when they see I'm able to up it a notch! I still have some health struggles but I look forward to my classes each week above almost everything else! I'm looking forward to getting stronger and more fit everytime I go! read more

I can't say enough good things about the entire staff and experience at Club Pilates in Frisco! As a flight attendant, my schedule is extremely erratic, and I love all the different options for class times. All of the instructors are extremely knowledgeable, and I love the variety in each class. Unfortunately, the club is operating over its capacity. Last week I could not take a class because I was on the waiting list all week. Another issue with the waiting list is that if you do get moved off the waiting list, it could be short notice; therefore, you have to block the time even if you won't be moved off the waiting list because in case you make it off the waiting list and don't make it to the class they will charge you. Finally, there are a few classes as a beginner you won't be able to attend because it requires instructor approval. The problem with this is that due to the limited number of classes you can attend, it will take a significant amount of time to achieve an advanced level and have more class options. Last month I lost my previous credit ($35) because I was not moved off the waiting list, and the staff denied my request to carry my unused credit to the next month. The instructors are good, and they provide a lot of equipment to make the classes challenging and effective; however, it is tough to get into classes that works for your schedule and be able to constantly attend classes. read more

Whatever you do, do not give club pilates your business. After taking an intro class during my work lunch break, I grabbed my things ready to go when I was cornered about what membership I was signing up for that day. I asked if I had to sign up that same day (because I definitely wanted to think about it and needed to get back to work) and was told, "yeah that's the point of the intro class". I felt unbelievably uncomfortable. After handing over my card I was told it was a three month minimum. I felt like I missed some fine print saying you absolutely have to sign up after an intro class. They pressure you like there's no tomorrow. I am now stuck at this place and it's not even possible to get into any classes on top of it all. It's a scheduling nightmare. I am looking for a place to workout and I love Pilates so I decided to try several studios. This studio doesn't go the extra mile to get you to join! I wanted to try a class and found out it was a 30 min teaser not an actual class. The instructor seemed very good, she had loads of experience but it is focused on monthly memberships ( and they make a HARD sell ). I had ordered a pair of socks online and they hadn't arrived yet and was forced to buy a pair, no towels. I've been to several clubs that welcome a true drop in (first class free, provide socks and towel) just extras that you should receive with your $199 monthly membership! read more

The customer service is really bad, they don't care about their customers. After trial class they say if you sign up today we will waive entry fee $59 and to my surprise i got charge entry fee after reviewing my bank statements. When disputing the charge i was told sorry management changed, we cant refund you the fees. I would not recommend this place, is expensive and customer service is very poor. read more

I have been aware of this place, as I live literally five minutes from it. I would always wonder about it when I do eat within the restaurants within the vicinity. So the night of my 10K, I finally bit the bullet and signed up to try it out. I figured having a 10K, may flare up my lovely knee injury. Well, sure enough, I was right about it. Let us just say post 10K, I was hobbling at home. I was literally slow going up and down the stairs afterwards. Fast forward to the morning of Sunday, June 24, I walked in and was greeted by Paige. She was very welcoming and I felt like coming into a place where I knew individuals. Erica, the instructor for the 0900 class, met me shortly afterwards. She then asked me of any injuries that I may have to which I replied with a mini spiel of my knee. It was my first time to take the Center + Balance and I really felt the difference after the session. I was stiff that morning post 10K and sore too. In the end, I was less stiff than when I first came into class. I regained more range of motion in my right knee. I was still sore, but literally iced it on and off the whole day. Overall, just adding that class did the trick. I was so worried, I would not manage at work. I am on my feet a lot, but definitely no pain come Monday night for my shift. I have never felt so free of pain till this class with Erica. In the end, I signed-up for an 8 pack class. I did mention to Paige that I am a member of a local Barre and gym within my area. I just want another supplement to my workouts. I look forward to coming to Club Pilates for more sessions. I did my second class with Jodi and another Center + Balance. Awesome class and could not ask for more!! I also thought I never signed up for class when I walked in for a Tuesday session and turned out I scheduled myself for July 2 at 7:30 PM vs June 25! Thanks for letting me know there was room for me in class last minute! ;) If you are on the fence about it, try it out! You never know until you do! read more

Highly recommend Club Pilates. Great workout with reformers and coaches are very well trained. You will feel welcome, small classes. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is lack of Flow 1 classes since I am a beginner. My favorite coaches are Elizabeth and Tennille, they take the time to correct me or help me. As I ease into Flow 1.5 I am sure I will be VERY happy as there are plenty of those classes to choose from. I love that I have options to other clubs when I travel. GREAT perk. read more

I've been a yogi for almost 20 years but my shoulder can't handle another chaturanga or down dog, so I thought I'd check out Club Pilates. I LOVE it! The equipment is top of the line, and classes are small. I typically worked out two or three times a week but I've been going four and five times a week just because it's so fun! I didn't expect to notice results so soon but we were stretching and I looked down at my quads and saw some pretty beautiful definition forming after just two weeks! Really exciting. It's been great working with Christopher and the teachers. There's an enthusiastic vibe to the classes as most of us seem to be learning something new each time. If you've only done Pilates on a mat, you MUST try it on a reformer to understand what it really is. So fun and so challenging! read more

Years ago I took Pilates in a duet reformer environment so I had never taken in a true class before. Club Pilates just opened and let me just start by saying I'm in love. I tried a couple of places in the area over the years and never felt the connection to keep going. The staff at Club Pilates is super welcoming and warm. I did not feel intimidated even though I am so out of shape. I know from my previous experience how Pilates can help your body so I was ready to start again. The instructor was very attentive to each of us. The equipment is top notch. I already took new information home to help me with a chronic health problem I have. I'm looking forward to my next class and a long term membership with Club Pilates. Highly recommend this location as Club Pilates is truly for everyone. read more

What I thought would be a great place to get fit turned out to be my worst nightmare! The initial class was taught by a very fit, very professional trainer. After signing an online contract the same day regretfully before checking out this company and the snakes who run it, I tried to register for classes but they were all booked for 2 months out, and the other times were during typical working hours and totally inconvenient. I expressed to Phyllis and another employee I had to be out of town for 1 month and would need to postpone, when they offered me the opportunity to work out in the state I was in training conferences. I expressed to them I was not interested in doing that becsuse I am attending medical conferences and woukd have a very strenuous and heavy schedule. They both stated could not accommodate me, so I requested cancellation of my contract, and expressed to them it had not been 30 days since signing the online contract. They had a private discussion and advised me they would get back with me that afternoon. I never got a response until after the 30 day contract period had expired. An apologetic Christopher Paul , general manager, sent an email, apologizing for all the difficulty I experienced trying to schedule classes, and my overall dissatisfaction with their club, and with an instructor who was interesting and not dry as dirt, and seemed as if she had issues with memory. I advised Christopher I was filing a complaint against their practice of false advertising, and an unfair contract because of his insistance of charging me 100.00 early, less than 3 month cancellation. This is an unconscionable practice and I feel I am dealing with used car salesmen. I received an email from the owner, Chris Buck who did not refund my 100.00 but Insisted I meet with a personal trainer, after sending my a copy of the k I signed online, which was never offered before the complaint was filed. Tgey don't get it, I want nothing to do with them. Please be very cautious about patronizing this establishment. Go online and see all of the negative complaints their own employees have posted concerning them. If I could select no stars, that is what I would do. read more

This place has the worst customer service and billing department. I cancelled my membership well over 4 months ago and they still continue to charge me. I have even had to go through my bank to try to stop their fraudulent debits from my account. The studio is not that great and the instructors are just okay. I always wanted to try out Pilates and boy was walking into this place a mistake. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!! UPDATE 3/27/18: So even after proving to this studio that I cancelled my membership per the instructions provided by them in November, they have offered me no resolution in returning the money they FRAUDULENTLY took out of my account. They had the audacity to offer me a free 1 month membership....WHY WOULD I WANT A FREE MEMBERSHIP IF I CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP MONTHS AGO!!!! The owner continues to pass messages to me through their management and has never made an attempt to reach out to me directly and continues to hide behind a story that they never received my email. IT IS 2018, everyone receives their emails. Paige I understand that you think you are doing your job, but it is not your best job. I am now working with the fraud department of my bank to get my money back and to ensure that this company is flagged by VISA and MASTER CARD for their shady business practices. AGAIN I REPEAT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CLUB PILATES-FRISCO, SCAM GYM, FAKE WORKOUTS, SUB PAR INSTRUCTORS, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, SCAMMERS AND CHEATS. Let me first say, this is my very first posting to Yelp, but feel compelled to share my experience. I joined this facility several months ago after taking a trial class with Tennille, who was fabulous. There have been many weeks where I attended class 7 days a week so have experienced all different instructors, days, times, classes, etc. Having been there several months and watched many people come, and many many many of them go, I have learned a few things. The manager struggles to be a professional and maintain a professional environment. If you are one with whom he connects, you are golden, if you aren't, he makes that quite clear. I believe everyone's money is the same color of green which should mean something. Late arrivals, loud music with profanity, lack of preparation are not uncommon and have driven me to avoid certain classes and instructors. There are a few instructors there that only appeal to a specific few, and they seem to drive the strategy of the studio. If you fit that mold, which appears to be a bit inconsistent with the traditional pilates approach, you may find this studio appealing. One instructor in particular is quite frankly just dangerous and I would not be surprised if folks were injured in her class. I have cancelled my membership due to the departure of the one instructor who truly seems to embrace the tradition/style/culture that I understand to be Pilates. They were quick to tell me I had a 30 day cancellation clause and clearly they were much more interested in getting their additional 30 days of payment than they were making any effort to impact my decision or my experience. Having been to other Club Pilates locations I believe in their concept. That said, having done some research it appears there are many other quality facilities in Frisco/Plano/Prosper and many have much better pricing and packages. For the location who can offer a professional environment that is customer centric there is a huge opportunity to pick up a large following of folks who have left Club Pilates or likely will very soon. read more

So disappointed about this place, I've been working out my entire life, but sometimes you need a friend who motivates you. A friend recently moved to frisco, so I was pretty excited to try this place with her, she has a lot of experience with Pilates, so she really wanted me to try something different, the owner was pretty nice about letting us take a free class; however, I have never had such a bad experience with a trainer, Tanille was extremely unprofessional, she seemed she was angry every time she needed to explain an exercise, I could barely understood her and she constantly made my friend and I feel awkward, a lot of people usually asked me where I go to work out and I am definitely not recommending this place, I used to be a Zumba instructor and yes sometimes I was tired or angry, but I never directed my attitude towards my students. I want for every business to be successful, but if they keep hiring angry instructors, people will stop going and start talking, so my suggestion for this studio is to train your instructors to have a nice attitude towards students. read more

If you're intimidated by the reformer machines don't be. You can do an intro class for free then go along with your level of class until you're ready to move up. Its a love and hate feeling here - love when you can get a class with the instructor you like and hate knowing you are paying $199 a month for unlimited classes and you cant get into a class you like. If you need intensity there are 2 instructors who meet that level work out. The problem seems to be everyone learns this and classes are booked. Many wanting more intensity take 2 classes back to back with these instructors. So again less classes for others to get into. Best if u live close by u can wait to see if there is a cancellation. But its frustrating when you try the other classes and realize its not challenging at all. People who signed up early have booked months out so if you just signed up its a waiting game for those more intense classes. Its very frustrating. read more

Club Pilates Frisco is awesome! I have been going to classes at this location since May and absolutely love this studio. There are so many classes to choose from (various class types, levels, times and instructors). Nathalie, the owner, is so welcoming and has done a wonderful job of creating a friendly community for us. Christopher, the general manager, always greets you by name and with a smile. My favorite instructors are Alexis, Alicia, Elizabeth and Nimisha. Each one is different, each one gives you a great workout, and each one takes the time to get to know the people in their classes. I love that these instructors push you, make sure you are using proper form, and encourage you. I also love the other students I have met in my classes. Because the studio's staff is so friendly it carries over to the students. I am so glad I signed up for Club Pilates and that this location is my pilates home. read more

I took a Pilates reformer class years ago and loved it but until now there wasn't anyplace close by. I didn't even take a demo class and just went for the membership and I don't regret it for a moment. I've worked out everyday so far and love Club Pilates. The variety of equipment and classes is exceptional. If you've never tried Pilates on a reformer, this is the place to come.
