The studio is quite industrial feeling - very large with 14 reformers - they are the balance body machines but have a wider footbar which I appreciated. I stopped in to get in a work out while in the area for work. I always know there's going to be a studio for me in DFW. There are two location for BEYOND and I got to take advantage of their first visit program - two classes for $29 even though I only got to use one class while I was there. Pleasantly surprised to know the staff does answer phones -- she called me back and answered my questions and let me know that waitlists do move and that I did have a chance to get into the class I wanted to. They have their own app which is linked to MindBody. I would go again if I were in the area - but I do want people to know it's not traditional reformer pilates and more hitt and circuit style.

The rooms do get pretty hot but everything is adjustable and you can easily step outside to cool down if needed. There's many different rooms and classes you can sign up for and they even have a small section with weights and machines to work out in. You do need to get a membership to come in 24/ hrs. You can also do a day pass or a non commitment month pass but they can get quite pricy. I would definitely come here again and would reccomend to anyone who can afford it and likes to work out and exercise a lot. You can try it out up to 3 classes free before committing. If I could afford it I would definitely join.

There's so many options at all times, which makes it really convenient for fitting into my constantly changing schedule. My favorite thing was that there was no initial membership fee to join unlike other studios in the area. The instructors are also very attentive and accommodating. They make sure you have the right form and are willing to work around any physical limitations. I don't think you could go wrong taking a class with any of them. My favorites are Tricia for a lower level class, Nara for an intermediate/higher level, and Julia G for the more advanced, high impact classes. I would recommend Platinum Pilates to anyone interested in pilates, no matter the experience level. I've only been to this Lewisville location and not the new McKinney one, but I'm sure that studio is great as well.

I've been to a lot of Pilates studios across the country, but…read moreBodybar Plano is easily one of the most spacious and beautiful; I was stunned to see so much space in between each reformer, but I guess that's the beauty of suburbia. The decor was super chic as well, and it felt so lovely to be there. I took the Reformer class with Gabby, and I really enjoyed the entire class. I typically take megaformer classes, but Bodybar was a fun way to switch it up. While I found it to be a little bit easier than a megaformer class, it was still a challenging and fun class that consistently burned out my muscles. I especially loved the lunge-lift move that made it feel like I was flying. :) I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town!

After two sessions, my right hip hurt so bad that I stopped going. Now I am quitting. I'd hoped they would let me out of my 3 month contract - since I only went twice, and it's their fault I got injured. But no, they are charging me. I get it, but also feel like they did a terrible job overseeing me in my two sessions. Needless to say, I would NOT RECOMMEND this location.
