I am so happy with my decision to join Barre3 Frisco! The workouts are challenging, but not overwhelming. The instructors are kind and encouraging; they also give modifications if you need less or more in a specific exercise. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They always make you feel welcome. My littles go to play lounge and I know they are always taken care of. They sing and play with toys while I have a chance to move my body and rest my mind. I can not recommend this Barre3 location enough! As someone who regularly does Barre3 online, I find myself craving the in studio classes here even more! First of all, it is in a really cute location. Every single person I have met has been so kind and welcoming and the classes are KILLER! I just took a class with Sasha and she was amazing! Definitely take her class if you can. Each class is incredibly challenging, but I love that modifications are offered and are not looked down upon negatively. Barre3 truly is all about what is best for you and your body and the instructors here really believe in that! I've run two half marathons and I play a number of sports - both recreationally and competitively - and i'd like to think I'm in shape. My first class at Barre3 proved me wrong. Real quickly. Came here via a Yelp!Elite Event, expecting to break a sweat and substitute a night of my usual cardio. I was in for a real treat. VENUE: Located in downtown Frisco. You'll have to look for parking on the street - or off in the small lot to the right of the intersection where this sits. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by friendly faces. The ladies at Barre3 will make you feel welcome and comfortable (especially if you were intimidated like I was). You wait in the hallway where you can store your personal items in the cubbies that also function as benches. Restrooms are clean :) There is one room where all the classes take place but there's plenty of room. We had about 15-20 people in our session i believe. THE CLASS: Our instructor Sarah was WONDERFUL!!! She walked up to us and introduced herself and got to know our names. It was fantastic because throughout the class she would encourage us and call us out by our names. It made the classroom experience much more personal and you didn't feel neglected or left behind at all. The class incorporated some light cardio, light weights, but core/strength training, ballet, pilates, and yoga. I worked some muscles that I didn't know I had. What I really appreciated was that when I had my moments of weakness (you know, where i had to stop, rest, put my weights down, etc.) I didn't feel like I was going to get chastised or put on the spot. You know how some instructors get in your face to push you on, it wasn't like that at all. Which is the type of environment I do best in. I felt safe and secure and empowered no matter where in the work out we were. After speaking with the owner I was sad to hear they don't have a Dallas studio yet but I enjoyed myself so much I may consider braving traffic to come back for another session. read more

Don't let the ballet bar fool you. This is a tough workout. I am a very physically active runner who also regularly takes spin classes. I have taken a handful of bar method classes in the past as well. I prefer Barre3. The workout is slightly more cardio and does move a bit faster- not too fast though. I also really love that if my legs are whipped from running long that day, I can use some modifications in the leg routine while still getting full core and full arm work outs. This particular studio impressed the heck out of me. Very warm, inviting front desk and the three instructors I have tried have all been different and wonderful. I now try to fit in at least one barre3 class a week, preferably two. read more

It really is as good as it gets. Friendly staff, wonderful instructors and an inclusive and fun vibe. I had been doing the online classes with Barre3 for months and couldn't get to the studio fast enough in Frisco once I knew it was open. Barre3 is the best total body work out I have ever found and can be done at ANY skill level. I used to dance but it's been years and I am far from the "dancer body" I once had. Several variations of each move is shown by the instructor and Tammy was wonderful at one on one adjustments and coaching throughout the class. I can't wait to make Barre3 part of my normal routine. After dedicating so much time to running and training for my first marathon this past February I needed to change things up. I was so tired of the gym and cardio machines so i decided to give Barre3 a try. I have LOVED it! Once I started going I haven't stopped and it is amazing how strong I have gotten and my flexibility has improved so much. It is such a well balanced, challenging workout. All the instructors are so caring too. Coleen, Tara, Karen, Natasha, Ryon, Sarah and Jill are so amazing and I can't wait to take classes from the other instructors. I came here on Friday with my cousin. I was unsure about barre, being that I had never taken this class before. Im more of a kickboxing aerobics type girl but I thought I would give it a go after seeing results with my cousin. They allow your first visit to be a trial pass which is awesome! The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. First off, the instructor we had was helpful, energetic and in phenomenal shape. This class is no joke. What a great workout! I worked muscles I didn't even know I had, I was sweating as well because you def get a workout! The facility was very clean, the bathrooms were very clean and organized. I intended to copy and paste my review from the one via referizer, but well I accidentally pressed submit when I was not even done! :'( Smart phone woes! My first experience with Barre3 was attending an event that they hosted back in December 2016. I figured well Senior 1 of nursing final is coming up and I could use a different routine from my running outdoors or gym routine. I have to say, I underestimated not sweating, because I did break into a sweat that I had to step out to kind of cool down that time. I returned for more events shortly after that first experience. Each time, I walked out sore from the challenge, but always felt refreshed and ready to tackle the day ahead. I find myself being able to CONCENTRATE better in studying for my board exam these last few weeks! I decided to sign-up for the new client special in the past month and have loved each session. The instructors are wonderful and really try to find out about each individuals needs. I always felt like this was a no injury zone for my accident prone self, after a knee injury that set me back in 2014. I feel like I no longer slouch and try to stand as tall aiming for the ceiling, my mom definitely loves seeing me not slouch lately. As a trained vocalist, I feel like the breathing has helped me find that back in singing songs lately, as I have been out of practice. Finally, the sense of community is strong. I really can't say enough good things about this place and I wish I would've bitten the bullet and signed up sooner. The staff is so friendly, the studio is gorgeous, the classes are killer (in the best way!) and I never thought I'd ever actually enjoy a workout, but I love coming to barre class. The instructors are great at magnifying what you're doing right and never putting you on the spot, so I've never felt self-conscious. Natasha was an incredible instructor. Being a male i felt out of place my first time, her class was challenging and made me push myself. Her que's and explanations of each exercise were a huge help for me. She walked around the room and helped with posture and body positioning to maximize each exercise and make sure we felt the burn and also had good form. I love Barre3! The staff is amazing! Everyone from the person that greets you at the door to the childcare staff and then of course the instructors are great. Tammy, the owner is caring and kind and never misses a beat. Her enthusiasm and energy is contagious and will push you to work harder and motivate you to keep up with the workouts. This is my first time working out in a group setting and it's been great. I've had no prior dance or ballet experience and it is true that no experience is necessary. The instructors do a great job at helping you with form and offering modifications with each sequence. I've noticed the results- I've lost inches and have gained muscle tone. This is an outstanding studio in every way. Now on my tenth month attending classes here, I felt it time for a review. Every instructor is exceptional in her own way, has her own strengths, own music and routines (which are regularly changed up), is attentive, remembers every girl's name, is genuinely friendly and there to challenge you to your best hour of workout. The studio is EXTREMELY clean, organized, has a variety of options for storing your belongings, has cool merchandise & accessories, clean bathrooms, a cold water dispenser, towels and a changing room. Someone is always cleaning something, which I love. The girls at the front desk are friendly, welcoming, and also remember everyone's names. I don't know how they do it. I've done Power Yoga, Pilates, and taken to running for my workouts, which are not everyday I'll admit. I thought I could at least make it through my first class of Barre. I was very wrong. Even with the modifications, I could barely walk after about 30-40 minutes. A lot of lower strengthening exercises, with some yoga poses thrown in, and some small hand weights for arm strengthening provided a heart pumping class with Sarah! Wow!! I think I will need to take this class once a week and Yoga/Pilates for my other two workouts as it is so intense! There are not any classes that are less intense either, so it seems to be an "all in or nothing" class. Fair warning I did arrive early and got a nice tour, but I still didn't get a spot in the back, or even the middle. The front was open of course, on my first class I would end up at the front. You will have to walk for parking, about 2 min away, as this studio is located in a newly constructed business area of storefronts, and street parking is rare. Not a long walk, but if I had known I would have worn a jacket (lol)! Check in was easy. The studio was clean, the staff friendly, and the cubbies/locker options are great. They have some active wear for sale, and a children's area (I don't believe it is a monitored sitter service though?) They have filtered water for your water bottle refills And the restrooms and changing room are clean and eco-friendly. My first class was a free trial, and they have a special on the first three classes being only $10 instead of the regular $20. It's more than I'm used to paying for a fitness class ($12-$15), but their monthly members might have a better deal than a class by class payment option. read more

I started taking Barre3 when I As 25 weeks pregnant. I had been very active but with my growing belly I needed something more low impact. Barre3 was perfect! All the trainers were so great and accommodating. The classes are a full body workout and I was able to get my heart rate up in addition to toning and getting better with my breathing! I LOVE Barre3! I can't say enough good things about this studio. I have been going since April 2014 and I cannot see myself ever stopping. I have attended so many different studios before from Yoga to Pilates to Kickboxing and nothing compares to the service and workout received at Barre3. The owner, Tammy is sincere and caring and wants to make sure everyone is attended to and gets the best workout. Her classes motivate you to be better and continue to push yourself. But it doesn't end there, all of the instructors I've taken (Jennifer, Sara and Becky) are all amazing people. So not only does one get a great workout, you leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on the next day. The studio itself is extremely clean and welcoming. The workouts themselves are some of the best I have experienced. My muscles are sore in places I didn't know could be sore! I cannot say enough good things about this studio. This is the best of the barre workouts in the area. I much prefer this place to Pure Barre or the Bar Method. The owner is very nice and has a beautiful body. Everyone here is very welcoming and kind. I like this place a lot but I personally prefer to be in complete agony when I work out so I go elsewhere now.
