The teachers are easy to talk with before and after class. They will help and encourage you along the way too. If you're new they're attentive to your needs. If you've practiced for a long time, they'll try to deepen your practice. I love what they do here. The best part is you can create your own experience here. There is a teacher or specific class that will meet your needs. Pick a class or a specific teacher and go to a class. Your body will appreciate the time too. If you're nervous, bring a friend. Super fun way to bond with people. I usually bring a friend almost every time.

She confirmed that clients have 3 business days to cancel an agreement, and Sunday is not considered as a business day. She cancelled the membership that I erroneously signed up for. What I can say now, is 1) Lori Ann Garcia-Alvarado does in fact care about protecting people and the franchise, 2) She is well informed and compassionate, 3) Don't back down when you know you are being wronged, there are good informed people who will help you, like Lori Ann. I very much appreciate the time she took to call and email me almost immediately after she received my email, rectify the situation, and discuss the wrong doings with her staff. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! On Friday, 02/28/2026, I received a text from HOTWORX with the option to sign up for $1 to activate "your SPRING BODY" and replied $1, to activate my membership. On Saturday, 03/01/2026, I received another text telling me to login and sign the agreement, which I did. As soon as I went into the app, I realized that I erroneously signed up for the wrong location, which is 7010 W Loop 1604 Ste 105, San Antonio, TX 78254 Ph 210-866-9600, and is in a different city than where I live (41 miles away and a 1 hour drive). I had also cancelled a membership with that same location 3 years ago because of the move. As soon as I realized my error, on Saturday 03/01/2026, I immediately called the San Antonio Alamo Ranch location, 210-866-9600, to get help with cancelling the contract that I signed in error just moments earlier. The staff was unavailable when I called, at 3:43 p.m. CST, so I left a voice message explaining the issue, gave my phone # and name, and asked for help in cancelling that location - which I still have not received a return call from. My intention was to join the HOTWORX location near me, which is 2188 TX-46 Suite 108, New Braunfels, TX 78132 Phone 830-310-4424. The Alamo Ranch location in San Antonio has me set up on a plan to use any location, "Sweat Elite" I believe, however, that plan is currently not in by budget which is why I attempted to cancel immediately. I am the caregiver for my elderly father, a Military Veteran who lives with my husband and I, as he has prostate and liver cancer. This is not a sob-story, it is the truth. I thought I had joined my local location, to relieve stress when I am not having to take him to chemo treatments or tend to his medical needs. Now, today, I am more financially and emotionally stressed than I was before Friday. I called the Alamo Ranch location in San Antonio again today, Tuesday 03/03/2026, and while speaking with "Betsy" and the General Manager "Z", I was spoken down to and received a belittling response and absolutely no grace, care, assistance, or understanding with my error and financial concern. The response was cold and belittling "You get no grace and can pay $99 today if you want to cancel."...when I only made the error 3 days ago. I sent this same message to the Alamo Ranch franchise owner via their website and have attempted to contact corporate via email...BEGGING for grace and the assistance that I was seeking since Saturday, when I realized the error that I had made.

After making the trip there, I had to wait for a manager because the employee at the front desk apparently couldn't process a cancellation. When the manager finally came out several minutes later, he was chewing food while speaking with me, which I found very unprofessional. The actual cancellation process made the requirement to come in even more frustrating because nothing was done that appeared to require my physical presence. It felt like an unnecessary obstacle to canceling a membership. What bothered me most was being charged two additional months upfront to cancel. It's only the 10th of the month, and I had already paid for this month. I understand having a cancellation policy, but charging two full additional months upfront rather than calculating the notice period from the date of cancellation felt excessive. I've been a member for approximately three years and have literally used the facility once. After paying membership fees for all that time, I expected the cancellation process to at least be simple and professional. Unfortunately, this experience left me with a very negative impression of HOTWORX and how they handle members who choose to cancel.

Otherwise, everything else was great. I look forward to my kids swimming there again. Definitely worth the drive to San Antonio for a swim meet.

Also, while the ground at the playground is soft, it is not level- there are dips and random potholes. I almost twisted an ankle- twice and kids kept tripping and falling. Other than this, it's a great place! There is ample parking, ball courts in the back, clean restrooms and a water fountain with a bottle filler on it (yes!).

I have since moved, however when I was a member with Club Pilates, it was a wonderful experience!! The shear knowledge of these instructors is uncanny. I began working out there because I was experiencing a lot of pain from being a collegiate athlete and continuing strenuous exercise in my adult years. The kind of exercise that encourages you to "keep on going! You can do it! Lets go!"; all the while, not once correcting form or understanding when its a "good/accomplished" pain or "meaningful, you-don't-want-to-push-into", type of pain. I was broken down and pretty uncomfortable in my own skin. 3 months later, I was a new person, literally. I was completely out of pain!!!! I incorporated private training there along with classes and I am a forever student of this practice. I didn't go to lose weight because I didn't need that so much, but I leaned out like I had never seen and lost several inches all over and can see beautiful muscle definition. I feel for the woman who is so upset over a $29 refund because she will never know the grace, power and precision this practice is known for and delivers. It's worth it's weight in gold, let alone a paper $20 bill!! Unfortunate for her not even trying it because of "principal"...??? :( Thank you Club Pilates for changing my life, literally! Hi All! I've been coming to #ClubPilatesHelotes since they opened. From the front door, when you are greeted with a smile by name, to the workout buddies and the friendly and knowledgeable instructors, you are made to feel welcome. I love Pilates because as Erica says, "the classes are for you!" You are encouraged to go at your own pace and not worry about what people next to you are doing. As a disabled person, all of the instructors are able to adapt the exercises to me. I have seen progress in my strength and some exercises have become easier. I recently joined Club Pilates after 2 years of living a sedentary life, and I love it so much. First of all the instructors are all so friendly and compassionate, they guide you through everything and they make you feel very comfortable. I like that having a membership gives me that extra push and motivation on the days that I don't feel like working out. They have a variety of different class types and levels. Club Pilates in Helotes has helped me tremendously with my back pain suffered by an automobile collision that occurred in Dec 2017. I used to go to a chiropractor to get pain relief, but now I just do pilates. All of the instructors are great. One instructor, Lisa, pushes you to reach beyond your imagined limits. She is high energy and caring about her clients. Greatest benefit I found from doing pilates is to do it consistently and pay attention to your body signals. There is variety in the classes and a wide range of times available from early morning to evening. The staff are always friendly and greet you on a first name basis. LOVE LOVE LOVE this studio! I never did Pilates until they opened, and now I see why everyone loves it. I joined when they opened, and after being closed for COVID, I changed to unlimited classes so that I can go 3-5 times a week and do different classes each time I go. This establishment new to the Helotes area in February 2020. Great location and awesome staff and instructors. There are a variety of classes and levels as well as Monday to Sunday time slots. I have been a member since they opened. I love being greeted by name as I walk through the door. All the instructors are great and have their own unique style. There are a variety of classes and levels and they offer them throughoutthe day. I love exercising on the reformer. It is fun and challenging. I am definitely stronger and toner after taking these classes. It's a great workout with out being hard on your body. They are very good with cleanliness and have really done well with COVID-19. read more

I have been a member since they first opened in February - the staff is super friendly, the instructors know their curriculum, and they have been so receptive to feedback - what is not to love? Given the difficulty of COVID, CP has gone above and beyond with keeping the space safe, clean, and socially distant. I highly recommend this place! read more

The reformer classes are a full body workout. Movements are slow and controlled but boy do you work every muscle in your body. Plus, the resistance on the machine ensures you're working it all and then some. I feel more toned and definitely stronger since I started with them. Plus, these classes really increase your flexibility. Absolutely loving it! These classes are also great for people with joint issues because it's low impact. And again, I have to give some love to the instructors. Working out is hard. Getting motivated to work out is harder. But when you come in bright and early in the morning to friendly instructors and a friendly classmates, it makes you want to keep on coming in. The instructors here are helpful, give great guidance and genuinely want you to succeed. Couldn't ask for a better workout community. Check it out if you haven't. They offer some first time clients great specials to help you figure out which classes are more your style.

Socks are required for hygiene reasons and grippy socks especially are preferred so you don't slip around. The instructor was super friendly and very encouraging! She explained things very clearly so it was easy to follow along. I didn't break a sweat at all, but my muscles were BURNING. It's only been about 12 hours after my class and I can already feel the soreness in my muscles, which means that it was definitely a good workout.

We had gone through a beginner level class and the instructor was helpful and friendly. I met James and Danielle at a 5k race where they had set up a booth and were introducing the 9Round program. I have always looked for some type of activity that I feel comfortable with but burn the most amount of calories. So I tried it and I love it and I am also hooked on it. The PRO's to this gym are: no class times, get there when you can, jump in and get your workout on. Friendly staff starting with the owners James and Danielle all the way down to the trainers (Hanna, Craig, Jaime, Christa and Madeline). They are the type of staff that makes you feel like you're part of a family. A normal sessions lasts 30 minutes from start to finish which does not include getting ready or cooling down afterwards bit you can burn 300 calories or more depending on what you want to do. I say try it, if you don't like it, at least you worked out for a week. If you do try it, tell me what you think!!!!

I travel alot and wanted to sign up, but unfortunately the membership only works at the individual locations owned by the franchise and not all 9ROUND locations nationwide. I told them I wouldn't be able to sign up for this reason - I just wouldn't be able to use it very much. Additionally, I have since moved away from the area. This company has proceeded to regularly spam my phone at least once a week with sales calls asking to "follow up" on my workout. There is no follow up necessary. Just leave me alone.
