I just can't believe how we the members can accept the way this club works. I got there 6 minutes late at 5:36 Pm because of Houston traffic, and because I work and left work at 5. She wouldn't let me take the class. on top of that thre is a penalty of 15 dollars! and on top of that their monthly fee is so high. How can that be possible. the good thing about it, is that I enrolled in another Pilates Studio in Frostwood (memorial area) they don't have penalties, and no issues if you're late read more

This is my 1st try at Pilates and I really like it. After few sessions and several instructors here are few thing I like: this is a full body workout that can be adapted at everybody need and abilities, there is music but it is not too loud and nobody is yelling at me. (You can guess I have done bootcamp in the past! ) I like the attention the instructor pay to your position, the detailed explanations and instructions to insure you are working correctly. I also like the consistency of the instructions, so you can change instructors and even if they all have different personalities, they have clearly a lot in common in the way they teach, care and guide you. read more

I have wanted to go Pilates/reformer for years and finally, I am. I've done mat for years but there is a huge difference (obviously) in doing it with an instructor and the reformer. This is not an easy workout. There are days where my legs feel like jello, my abs are on fire, and my triceps hate me. And I couldn't love it more. I've already lost 10 lbs (with a healthy diet as well) but I know that the full body workout I get when I do their classes, has really helped. Instructors are incredible. There are only ten machines and so you really have an intimate setting with them and your other classmates. I am so glad I took a chance and tried it out, going on my fourth month and not looking to stop anytime soon! read more

Love this place, the instructors and the staff! This is the perfect exercise class for anyone and everyone. I used to workout all the time but since having kids I had challenges getting back into the gym until Pilates! It's great for those who want to stretch those muscles, keep your knees safe and still get cardio in. Who knew that was possible!? Yes! I can't say anything new that hasn't already been already in previous positive reviews. I really, really liked this club. The intro class was great! 30 minutes and we touched on using the reformer 3 different ways. We touched on the spring board and a squishy ball. The instructor pointed everything out so that I would be familiar with the equipment and movements and flow of the class when I attended a regular 50-min class. That introductory class made me very comfortable when I walked into a regular class with "regulars". I just finished my first regular class. The class size is perfect. I went with my 75 year old dad (I'm 40) and we both were able to perform to our ability. The instructor was knowledgeable, thorough and provided individual attention. I enjoyed the class so much that I signed up for a package. This is the most affordable Pilates class I've ever been to. All the packages are reasonably priced and they offer plenty of classes (types and times) for me to choose from based on my schedule. I highly recommend. read more

I had a horrible experience with the instructor Kristen. At the beginning of the class, I wasn't welcomed and felt isolated as she wasn't paying attention much on how I was performing. In addition, I couldn't hear clearly what she was saying during the class as I was on the opposite site from everybody else. Instead of asking me how I was doing and instructing me, she came to me and asked "Is your English not good?" TWICE with her facial expressions like I didn't understand what she was talking about. I felt very offended, so I took my stuffs and left. It was my very first class. I will never come back to this place and will never attend her class. For her information, I have a U.S master degree and is working on my doctorate, yes I can understand English! read more

Joining Club Pilates was the best decision I have made for myself in years! I havent felt this good, looked better much less enjoyed exercising for a long time. The staff members are excellent. I've worked out at studios across Houston and this one, by far, has some of the best instructors.

The first class is a free 30- minute introductory class to acquaint you with the various equipment they have to use during the regular 50 & 60 minute classes. I really like that they take the time to help you out even during the normal class so you aren't struggling on your own with the many parts. I've been to two different types of classes with two different instructors and they really know how to give you a great workout. It's never a boring old class and it's easy to keep up with them. The class sizes are intimate and the environment is very comforting. There are people of all ages who come here to get their Pilates on! Their packages are reasonably priced and the class times vary... Some days have later classes than others. They also have cute merchandise such as gripped Pilates socks and fabulous workout tanks that I would personally wear out to brunch lol read more

The classes are far too simple if you are looking for an effective work out. There are far too few more challenging classes that are booked weeks in advance given how few there are. Too many members complain if anything more challenging is offered and as a result the classes are made too easy. Any feedback on making classes more challenging or adding more challenging classes are ignored. So many exercises from classical Pilates are banned by corporate and there are cameras in the studios to entire that instructors keep it simple. Waste of money. You can get a better workout on YouTube. There is also far too much corporate BS! I gave two months notice to cancel my membership due to Covid and being unable to attend only to be told I had to wait and be charged another full months membership representing my 30 days notice because I had my membership on freeze. I froze my membership due to Covid and because I am immune compromised and because the classes were so easy walking to class was a better work out. ‍ Definitely feel like I was suckered here! read more

Have visited several Club Pilates studios in So Cal. Looking for another Melody Ward....she is the very best. Can always depend on her to get your sweat on and get into amazing shape. Was pumped to stumble upon a Club Pilates in Houston but the jury is still out on this one. Have driven by a few times for information about when they plan to open,etc etc but no one seems to be there. Took a peek inside...nice machines but such a small studio crammed in a corner next to A PUB and hidden behind a kolache joint?!? Welcome to Houston. Another question is... The classes here are the best Pilates Reformer classes I've ever taken. The instructors have a great depth of knowledge about lots of different exercises and stretches and they mix it up a lot so you won't get bored. They also use lots of props like weights, box, blocks, balls, rings, TRX bands, the chair etc. which keeps it interesting & challenging. This is by far the best workout to target and strengthen my core. The jump board classes are awesome. I also love the stretch classes on the reformer, I'm seeing results and feel just enough soreness to know I'm challenging myself but not enough to keep me from my daily activities. This is a complete body workout! The best thing is that I actually have more energy after leaving this class which helps me overcome fatigue without resorting to caffeine or sugar! I recommend trying it, you will get a better workout as you keep improving your form and following the cues the instructors give, they are super friendly and helpful!
