First time here I purchased 4 sessions for $40 from the mind body app. This app is also used to book the sessions at this location. I liked this HIP Pilates class because if you're newer to Pilates you can actually do the class. Other places I've gone it's so hard I can not keep up or do half of the moves. I also tried the versa climber class/reformer class. That is an awesome class! I burned 100+ calories every 8 minutes. Definitely coming back. Jess is a great instructor!

Just attempted to attend the HIP class and was treated extremely rudely. Mind you, this is my first time attending. I was treated as if I were an inconvenience. The person (an Asian woman with purple hair) at the counter was unaccommodating, short with me, and condescending ("have you ever done this before?" "Where?" as if that mattered). If you're reading this, it was Pilates Punx in LA (I left a photo as reference). Maybe you could give them a call and get some tips on how to treat people who you want to return to your establishment. I was turned away bc I needed to purchase socks, they don't accept tap pay, and my card number didn't go through on her phone. Her response was "well, if you can find some socks somewhere..." What?? Find socks WHERE? I will not be attending your classes ever again. As someone who leads a marketing department, I understand that there is no better marketing than the kind that comes as word of mouth. Do better.

    Megaformers galore!

I am so so SO happy that this studio just opened in Houston! If you haven't heard of the Lagree Fitness method, then look it up...it is amazing. I took megaformer classes in the LA area, but upon moving back to Houston, I have been searching for a studio that offers this work out. HIP Fitness is seriously High Intensity Pilates. It is a work out involving this amazing invention called the megaformer that will make you burn and shake. It is a mix of strength training and cardio (yes cardio!). The studio just opened this weekend and they are offering FREE classes all this week, so book your classes online now! They have 10 megaformers, offer free towel service, and have nice cubbies to put your belongings in. Lubna, the owner, is super nice, friendly, and approachable. She is from Southern CA and trained with the best, so she knows what she is doing! I took Victoria's class today and she is so fun and motivating and I can't wait to take more of her classes! Bring your sticky socks (they also sell socks at the studio) and water bottle and try this out!! Thank you Lubna for bringing a little piece of LA to Houston!!

    I survived! Awesome work out!

LTF had bought out the previous operator, City Club, and invested millions in renovating and updating the facility. We met at and continued, as a couple to gravitat to large health clubs in different cities where we worked and lived for over fifty years. During the tour, where we were shown the various centers for weight training, the outdoor swimming complex, yoga studios, Pilates studio, ballet barre, a full service cafe and a very impressive spa/salon, and recovery room, I commented, "Goodness, I could live here very happily." We both have been very pleased with our experience there and feel that it is well what we pay for our membership. We travel a lot and have visited LTF clubs in different cities and have been pleased by the consistency of the programs, facilities and maintenance of a clean and functional facilitiy. We are usually there, working at maintaining our heath, both mental and physical a minimum of five days each week. But, I am writing this hot mid-July Sunday in 2026, to give two thumbs up to the entire LTF staff and management for the annual extravaganza, Poolchella, that was held over most of two days on two successive weekends bracketing our nation's 250th 4th of July celebration. It is one of the regularly scheduled music and dance events offered across the year on weekend days or weekend evenings described as adult get-togethers. That part I guess, is true but incomplete. The club's bar had two or three men and women constantly assembling cocktails and other libations, sandwiches, plates and snacks which were delivered to the many people out on the expansive, pool deck that has a variety of green and flowering plants. A succession of DJ's laid down very nicely synched non-stop pop and rock music tracks. The music drew me outside where I completed over 20 one/fifth of a mile circumnavigations of the pools where I ambled along at about 4.2mph movin' 'n groovin' to the 125 bpm beat the male and female MCs were laying down for well over an hour. It was hotter than hell under the sun in H-Town. I didn't care. I hydrated and took breaks to assess my well-being before picking up the pace over and over again. The LTF club leadership, GM Randy Doty and Club Membership Concierge Desiree Cortez, also provided floaty toys and a bounce pit and a variety of other kiddie attractions to enable entire young families to have a great holiday memory. And, therein lies the reason why this particular "urban country club" is so popular. The club offerings--from traditional solo weigh lifting to yoga, dance, Tai-Chi, strength, Pilates, cycling, swimming and group fitness classes welcomes not only the traditional gym rats and a surprising number of former college and professional athletes. They also offer a rich mix of classes that are directed to people like ourselves (AKA Aroras) who have made it to age 55 and beyond and understand that muscles do not age out as long as they are regularly and responsibly exercised. We routinely take classes with men and women who are well into their 70's, 80's and 90's and are still at it. But, LTF also has a very impressive kiddie care facility, so mom's and dad's can take advantage of the Club's classes, very clean family changing, showering locker room, use the cafe or the assigned out-of-the-office work area and get a mani-pedi, massage, assisted stretching session or work out with one of the many personal trainers, confident that their babies and toddlers and little kids are kept busy, clean and safe. For my wife and me, the Greenway Club is a central part of our Houston retirement. We enjoy the tri-part goals of LTF Arora--"Healthy. Active. Social." Bravo Randy, Desiree and the terrific crews!!

There is parking for the gym when driving up the ramp that's close to the side of the plaza facing Cummins St. It can sometimes be a little tricky navigating the entry and exit to the plaza because of the Costco gas station, which tends to have long lines. I go to this location a couple of times a week and usually it's not overly crowded and you can access most of the equipment. I've noticed some of the treadmills were out of service, so if you go at peak hours you may have difficulty finding one working. The equipment seems ok but some machines are showing their age. However, the locker room has been clean each time and there are always open lockers to place your belongings. One curious thing is this location is listed as a signature club but I'm not sure what amenities are considered signature compared to a standard location. This one has a basketball court, a group workout room, and a small sauna but no pool. Overall, it's a good all around gym that doesn't feel pretentious and I have no major complaints.

First, you have to get to the Greenway plaza parking garage and enter via the visitor parking entrance for 4-6 Greenway Plaza garage from the 59 feeder road. Once inside the garage, follow the signs for 5 Greenway plaza. It should be the blue colored parking area. There's a pretty big sign that says visitor parking. Then, look for the entrance that says 5 Greenway Plaza. Enter and pass the flower shop on the left, and Pulse fitness is right there. The front desk can validate your parking right away, which was awesome. The outside sitting area before entering this gym was so pretty and filled with bright natural light. If you go here earlier in the day, you can sit in this area and just relax. I heard some food vendors are also open earlier in the day. Inside, this gym was nice. Let me say this again, it's very nice. Like everything was new: their cardio equipment, weights, machines, kettlebells, stability balls, medicine balls, and probably all their other equipment. Their restrooms were clean, and even had a nice sitting area. They had lockers with 3 digit dial codes to secure your belongings. They have nice showers. They have clean towels on every cardio station and on more shelves. They have a filtered water station. I mean, what more could you want? I do have to mention that they don't have your typical weight machines. They have weights but with resistance cords to them. You can feel the weight both going away from and towards starting position. It just takes a bit of getting used to. Leaving the garage is simple. Follow the sign to exit for southwest freeway (Highway 59), and you're good to go. Next time, I will have to inquire about their HIIT classes. So, I will definitely be back.

My car was recently broken into in the gym's parking garage sometime between approximately 1:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Although the garage has good lighting, there does not appear to be any meaningful monitoring or security presence during those hours. What is even more disappointing is the manager's apparent lack of interest in addressing the safety and overall condition of his own facility. Members should not have to worry about their vehicles being broken into while they are inside working out. Good lighting alone is not enough. The garage needs active camera monitoring, regular security patrols, and a clear response plan when incidents occur. The conditions inside the gym are also unacceptable. The locker room is regularly dirty and does not appear to be cleaned properly. I have seen pubic hair left on the floor, and the steam room is often unsanitary as well. Broken machines remain out of service instead of being repaired or replaced in a timely manner. There are also frequently homeless individuals sleeping inside the gym, which raises additional safety and sanitation concerns for paying members. The facility continues to deteriorate, and management does not appear interested in correcting the problems. A manager should take pride in the gym, listen to members, and ensure that the property is safe, clean, and properly maintained. Instead, these issues have been allowed to continue while members are still expected to pay full membership fees. I expect the break-in and the ongoing concerns about security, cleanliness, and maintenance to be taken seriously. Immediate improvements are needed before another member becomes a victim or someone is harmed.

Since I mapped it out beforehand, I knew where to park and how to get to the gym. This was a fairly large shopping area, but EQX was right there, and the desk is there in front once you enter. There was a really nice girl this day with long braids, and she directed me upstairs to the locker room and informed me that parking validation was not necessary at this time; the gate just went up as you pulled up to it. Perfect! After going upstairs, I did wander around and then a trainer directed me over to the locker room, which was spacious and very clean. The fitness floor is on the second, and as soon as I found the treadmills, I knew where I belonged. Light movement in the stretching area after, and then back to a shower with decent water pressure.
