Absolutely love that I got to try and intro class. I immediately fell in love. This is exactly the kind of physical activity that I need for my body. It's been hard to find the right activity postpartum...but I think this is it for me. Love that you activate muscles you never knew existed and that it's about flow and precision not speed (talking about reformer flow class). It's very clean. I started in July 2023 and my introduction class was taught by Rachel, a new teacher (back then) from New Zealand. She is a great teacher. I submitted my written notice to cancel membership on 6/18/2024. Linnea (the manager then) informed me in writing that she'll schedule my last day to be 7/18. On 7/15 (by that time Linnea had left), an auto charge came through my credit card (covers use of studio from 7/15-8/14). I don't mind being charge prorated for 4 days 7/15-7/18. Giving notice on 6/18 and paying through 8/14 is more than 30 day cancellation. In the meantime, I've dealing with an interim person which acts as a go between the clients and the owner. The studio is losing clients, good teachers and management has been non existent. Finally, the owner wrote a long email trying to improve the club service recently. To me, it's too little too late. I totally lost faith and trust in this studio. read more

I joined club pilates. What's up, full membership, expecting to gain A better form of working out. I am very stiff and knew I needed to train my core. I paid for a membership for myself and for my daughter. My daughter was able to keep up, but sadly, I wasn't. I asked for individual training.And was promised that I could get it for ninety nine dollars per class, which I was willing to do. They changed management. And then the second manager tell me she would find someone to do this, but that never happened either. I went a total number of 2xs And continue to contact them about an individual trainer. This never happened, so I told them I was ending my membership. I refused to pay for the last month. I started in November. End it the payment in May. And during that time I only went twice. I refuse to pay for the last month since I told them I was ending my membership in m May. If I could have gotten anything out of this place.I would have gladly paid for the last month, but I refuse read more

This new Pilates studio in downtown Kirkland has been open just shy of a month, so I am a little hesitant to give too critical of a review. Here is my breakdown of the positives and negatives I have experienced in that short time. Positives -The most reasonably priced reformer Pilates class you'll find in the area -Gorgeous, shiny new equipment and studio -Excited trainers and super nice, welcoming staff -Adorable retail items including grip socks that are required for class -Small class sizes (12 max people per class) -7 days/week class times well into the evenings Negatives -No changing room/shower/locker space - you have to literally walk through class to get to the single restroom to change -Earliest morning class is 6:30am - I like to workout earlier than that, if you are an evening or day workout person this is not an issue -Instructors really vary in their expertise and style - this can go either way depending how you look at it, but know that if you don't click with one instructor there is another you might really enjoy -Classes book up quickly on the weekends Because the studio is still so new, they are only offering 2 different classes - Reformer Flow and Cardio Sculpt. Both are on the reformer most of the time with some mat and springboard work. The Cardio Sculpt uses a jumpboard, which might not be for everyone. I look forward to seeing what other class options become available as the studio matures. They have free 30 min intro classes available if you want to check out the studio. Pilates is a great workout and I think it's awesome they have made it more accessible. The only downside to the class format is that you lose some of the tweaks and intricacies that can really help make it an effective workout. At least, that's my opinion! read more

I have been coming here for about a year - the location is perfect for me. I have issues booking classes when my month starts as people have booked out a few weeks - so tend to have to go to many classes in a row and another week maybe no class. The one thing they really need to do is update the reformers! So many of the beds are torn and worn - it says part of our dues are used to maintain - let's actually do this! Maintain and keep the equipment up to date. I'd be embarrassed to be the owner! read more

I absolutely love this place! I have personally been in the fitness industry most of my life and ALWAYS wanted to try Pilates but it was just too expensive or too intimidating. Kayla and her team have been AMAZING, and made me feel extra welcome, and especially as a newbie to the Pilates world and basically starting from ground zero. I signed up for an unlimited membership recently and after being a member for about a month, I know which classes to take for my fitness level. I wish the studio had more flow 2 classes, as those are the most challenging. There are only flow 2 classes a few times per week, and they fill up quick. There are 12 reformers in the classroom, so not a ton of opportunities to take the class. The popular times also fill up fast, such as after work, so you need to book well in advance. Especially weekend classes. Heather is a great instructor as her 1/1.5 classes are very therapeutic and at a slower pace. You could use different spring resistance than recommended to make it more challenging. These would be good for someone newer to Pilates using the reformer. Erica and Michelle's 1.5 classes are challenging. I wish Michelle taught at the Kirkland studio more as I really enjoy her classes and flow. Brooke's 2.0 classes are tough but super fun, a much faster pace and uses the EXO chair. Suspend 1.5 is a fun, tougher workout using the TRX straps with your body weight. Cardio Sculpt has a small section where you're doing a lot of jumping on the springboard while on the reformer, so that will increase the heart rate. It wasn't my favorite but definitely a harder workout. I liked the FIT classes since they reminded me of F45, but these don't use the reformer all and the membership cost is too high to do a class that could be done at a regular gym or at home with a FitOn video. The price is definitely high, and considered a luxury fitness membership. The single class passes and 1-2x a week packages aren't worth it in my opinion, unless you're using these classes solely for 2.0 classes. read more

Club Pilates Kirkland provides a nice clean studio and brand new equipment. I took an introductory class and really liked it. However, there is a ton of fine print regarding how to actually purchase your classes. They don't use a flexible punch card model. After speaking to someone by phone I learned about auto renewals, early termination penalties, and it was a struggle to get a full picture of the cost to join. I was literally giving my credit card over the phone when I learned that I can't join for a month without having to pay for the second month. I was told that having to pay for two months was for my own health and wellness but I walked away feeling line this place has a sly way of doing business. It's a shame because I love Pilates and the location is convenient. I already spent $16 on my "Pilates socks". I would definitely come take classes if they loosen up the membership so I can try it for a month with no strings attached. read more

What a RIP OFF. I went to a class last January when I signed up for classes at $170. A week later, I called to cancel the membership I never used as I discovered a health condition that prevents me from exercise. If a brain aneurysm isn't bad enough, I called and called to no avail. Once calling multiple times and leaving messages didn't work, I sent an email asking for a manager to reach out. When I finally spoke to someone on the phone I asked to cancel my membership and get a refund. They refunded me once, but then continued to charge me 3 more times to the tune of $568.72 I have called, I've sent emails and I even stopped by. The hours posted on the door say 6am-2pm. I was there at 1:20pm and the door was locked. I FINALLY received an email telling me I never cancelled-which is absurd since they had given me a credit....they just never switched off the 'charge' button and continued to charge me though I had cancelled. Now they refuse to do anything about it. Is this the way we do business in 2019? Like there aren't other Pilates studios out there than are better managed and know how to do legitimate bookkeeping? I would think you would do a better job taking care of your customers. I am curious how the other franchise members conduct themselves. Trust, I will soon find out. read more

I came in once for a level 1 flow class, and was not impressed. The equipment are new and maintained nicely. I believe there's a bathroom at the back, but I didn't know because despite multiple emails with the staff during that day explaining I want to try out this studio, neither the instructor nor the front desk lady gave me any type of orientation or instructions. For a class with only 10 people, the instructor only seemed to care about the students with whom she's friends. I put up my hands multiple times throughout class to get clarification on postures and was repeatedly ignored. Overall, I didn't get a good vibe from this place. read more

Brand new studio is DT Kirkland. It's clean, inviting and the classes are fantastic! I am new to Pilates and I am pleasantly surprised at the classes they offer and how each instructor has their own rhythm and feel so there is something for everyone. Classes are small and lots of times to choose from. They have lots of extras (bar, ball, bands etc) which keeps the workout interesting and not monotonous. I've been taking Pilates classes off and on since 2003. I've taken every type of class at various gyms and studios. I feel that Club Pilates has the most variety to offer the most clients. They have several different instructors, all with different teaching styles and personalities, but all extensively trained and focused on helping each client strengthen their core, their spine, and improve their flexibility and movement. They offer a variety of class types (flow, cardio, control, balance, TRX, etc) and class levels from beginner to advanced. They also offer private, semi-private, and group classes. Their app makes it extremely easy to book classes, and it integrates with your calendar, and sends reminders. They also make it easy to cancel classes, and have a very fair cancellation policy. The studio and equipment is clean and very well maintained. All of the staff are friendly, helpful, and care about the clients. I've been going to the Kirkland studio for over a year and truly cannot say enough good things about it. read more

Don't come here if u don't want get scammed!!! Such a shady company. I signed up for 8 classes for one month and one month only. The front desk lady (I forgot her name, but pretty sure she is the manager or the person in charge of the studio) told me to let her know after one month of membership. It's strange to me at first becuz I said well I'm telling u right now that I'm only trying out for one month why do I have to come back and notice you again but I agreed regardless. So last week I called them to give them notice about I won't be coming back she gave me the HARDEST time saying it s3 months you can't cancel, I explained to her that I singed only for one month then she asked me to hold to call me back in 10 mins which she never did! I called back to her still asked for me to wait another 10mins... and again she never called I called them she was laughing at me on the phone for some reason I found that so rude. She decided to discuss with the owner if they can "cancel" for me and will call me back later, she did finally told me that they r going to go ahead cancel for me and now today when I checked my bank statement they still charged me for the second month! Wow just wow, don't trust this company and don't give them your credit card info cuz they r going to use it without your consent!!!!!! read more
