After pulling myself out of an inactive, unmotivated run, I finally decided to get back into a healthy workout routine. I saw that Club Pilates offered a free intro course so I signed up online. I got a call that same day to schedule the course. I have never done Pilates before so I was a little nervous but the ladies in reception and the instructor were so welcoming and encouraging. I got lucky and basically got a private session since the other people who signed up didn't show. The instructor was very knowledgeable and made sure my form was good so I wouldn't hurt myself. She gave me the run down of terminology and equipment use in the 30 minutes we had. Afterwards, sign up was an easy decision. The receptionists made sure I knew how to use their app to schedule classes. I'm only 2 classes in but I've had 2 different instructors. I let both of them know I was new. They made sure to check on me throughout the class and helped me whenever I needed it - completely judgement free. When you initially sign up, you have a 3 month commitment and they have different plans and prices depending on how many classes you want to take per month. The receptionists will call/text to make sure you use your points before the month ends because the points don't roll over. Needless to say, I love it so far! read more

Shocked by the lack of professionalism. I just feel so wronged that Alyssa at this location hasn't been great at communicating after they overcharged me when forgetting my heroes discount. It's a small amount, but it's the principle of the matter and can be significant to someone else so I just wanted to let everyone know to never have them charge your card remotely. I only authorized a specific amount and they went over that amount after thinking that sending a quick text message gives them the approval to do so. I mentioned we can even speak to a Regional if that helps expedite a solution and that comment was blatantly disregarded. I simply want a refund for a charge that I didn't authorize and they are saying that I may be locked in for three months. Thoroughly enjoyed the classes but this ongoing issue has been disappointing to say the least. read more

Don't sign up! Total scam!! Their general manager Alyssa Saga, is a complete scam artist and won't let people cancel their membership in a reasonable fashion. They make you jump through hoops and then tell you they lost your cancellation form and make you pay for another month. Upon arrival for your class, you are greeted warmly by staff and shown the check in process. There are no assigned reformers it seems at this place. In terms of the routine, it is clear and predictable with a full body workout. As someone with reformer experience, I was able to keep up with most of the moves but some of it went a bit fast. If you haven't done reformer at least 10 times, I would take their intro class first to get a base level of information on different Pilates moves. I've been going to Club Pilates for about a year now, and it's become a consistent part of my routine. The scheduling system is super easy to use, which makes it really convenient to fit classes into a busy schedule. I also love the intensity of the classes, they're challenging, effective, and I always feel stronger afterward. The instructors truly make a difference. Hannah, Alecia, and Eleanor are all fantastic, knowledgeable, motivating, and attentive. Their cueing and energy keep classes engaging, and they consistently create great workouts. My one wish is that there was more of a sense of community. While the workouts themselves are great, the overall vibe can feel a bit transactional at times, and I'd love to see more opportunities for connection among members. Overall, it's a solid studio with excellent instructors and well-structured classes, and with a stronger community feel, it could be even better. read more

Probably the worst Pilates experience I've ever had and took me awhile to share this. One of the instructors, an older lady, shamed me in front of everyone for almost falling off the reformer. It gave me high school bully vibes, and you would think from a Pilates studio that claims to be inclusive this wouldn't happen, but it still does! If you're looking into this place, run. Look for a more privately owned Pilates studio. There are plenty more to choose from around the area. They are also very sales-pitchy here and guilt you for every little thing. read more

My wife goes 4 times per week and I was invited for a couples class before Valentine's Day. I work out very consistently however, I had never been to a Pilates class. I bought 3 classes to see if I'd like to get a membership here ($90 for 3) I haven't been able to use all my passes in the 30 days expiration because all the classes that fit with my schedule on the weekend are fully booked out a whole month in advanced. I genuinely enjoyed this place. It was my first time trying out Pilates the other day and to be very honest I was a bit anxious and nervous, but there's nothing to be intimidated about it at ALL. Especially with the instructor Marvette she was a complete doll and made this whole thing so much easier for me. She was able to guide me the entire class even though it was a beginner class she still took her time to help me if I needed some adjusting. Everyone here seemed really nice and they provide you with all the supplies. We even clean up with their sprays so you know every time you use it it's already wiped down for you. Honestly where do I start...I'm coming up on my 3 year anniversary. I'd always wanted to try Pilates and when this location was opening up, it felt like a sign from the universe. I attended the intro class with Jose and it felt like it was exactly what I was looking for. I've had nothing but a positive experience with Club Pilates Mountains Edge. Everyone is so nice (especially all the ladies at the front) and the instructors really care. Safety is the #1 priority. I personally deal with health issues and I have to be mindful (and demure, lol) about some exercises I need to modify. Zero shame. Zero pressure. What you need is a healthy place to go and challenge yourself with kindness. This is where you need to be. Never in a million years have I stuck with anything and I'm almost at 250 classes--I'm so proud of myself! Club Pilates Mountains Edge has helped me grow self-love, discipline, and kindness to myself. When I first joined, I was newly postpartum and didn't feel like myself. 3 years later, I've gained confidence in my own strength and pushed myself to strength train and start Muay Thai. I wanted to love Club Pilates because the workouts are great and many of the instructors are truly skilled and motivating. However, after several frustrating months as a member, I decided to cancel -- and I feel it's important to share why. First, the membership model feels stacked against the member. You're required to commit to three months, and even when you decide to cancel, they require 30 days' notice. This means you end up paying for another full month after requesting to cancel. The booking system is another challenge. Because classes fill up quickly, you'll almost always be pushed to the waitlist. The only way to get into a class is to wait for a spot to open -- but the catch is, once you're automatically added to a class (often in the middle of the night), it may be past the 12-hour cancellation window, which means you're penalized $15-$20 for a no-show or late cancellation. This happened to me multiple times. Even when I caught my own mistake -- once booking a class and realizing right away I couldn't attend -- I cancelled within 5 minutes and still got hit with a fee. That's pretty frustrating, especially on top of the $220/month membership fee. While many instructors are fantastic, there are some who don't clearly explain the exercises, which leaves members looking around trying to figure it out on their own. In a few classes, it felt more like a social hour for the instructor and their friends than a focused workout, which detracted from the experience for those of us there to train. Overall, it feels like the system is designed to benefit the business over the customer, especially with rigid cancellation policies and limited booking flexibility. I've since switched to another studio that also offers yoga, has a more affordable membership, and a much friendlier booking and cancellation system. This place is only few mins from my house. So I was eager to try it. $29 for a trial class. Bit expensive but I am willing to give it a go. I did tell the front desk that I am not a beginners and I need a more challenging class. She suggested me to try 1.5 and told me that 2.0 will require instructors approval. From 1-10, level 1.5 was like a 2 for me. I explained to the front desk and instructor again. Well, they asked me to pay another $29 dollars for a 2.0 Pilate class. I then asked, what if 2.0 was too easy again? They responded with something more funny. Next door was offer 3 FREE trial classes. Orange theory was offer 1 FREE inside the same place. I started going in January. I took Pilates as an elective class at UNLV about 5 yrs ago with Dolly, and was shy of just the kinesiology classes to actually be certified. I was more into working out the body than actually teaching. I have loved the classes this far. I was approved to take up to level 1.5 during my trial due to my past knowledge of Pilates. My go to instructors are Lydia and Zoya. They both will correct your form when needed and communicates well when instructing the movement. Jackie and Zhenni are also great instructors. I've only taken their class once since they were subbing but they have great energy & instructions were clear as well. read more

Club Pilates is an amazing studio to get your weekly workout fixes in. I hated going to the gym, and Club Pilates gives me the freedom to exercise and still feel fairly hygienic while doing so. Lydia has been my go-to instructor since I started and she's amazing, she knows how to make you break a sweat and also makes classes engaging and fun! I love how she looks out for everyone and will tailor reformer springs to make sure everyone's strength levels are kept in mind. You can tell she's passionate about instructing and cares about our progress. I've been attending classes consistently twice a week for a little under a year now and I've definitely seen some major improvements to my health! Between the classes, quality of equipment, and ease of scheduling classes through the app, Club Pilates is definitely worth the investment. I love the instructors here. I appreciate that they have an All-Inclusive Package for access to all of their studios nationwide. It's practical for those who travel to major cities often as I do. They have a nice collection of Pilates apparel to shop as well. I adore Savannah at this location, she's kind and attentive and goes above and beyond. Private sessions are available here too. I can't compare Club Pilates to any other Pilates studio because they were my first choice after hearing and seeing so many of my gfs taking classes here. I love pilates on the reformer. I absolutely hate exercising! I'm getting older though, and I recognize the need for me to maintain my muscles and bend-ability so I don't freeze up. My friend had been telling me about this for a year. I finally took an intro class and fell in love with it after about a month. You don't even realize that parts of your body that need a good stretch, and I would never want to plank alone at home in misery. I love the small classes, (12 reformers in a room) and I love how the instructors are trained so they can properly show you how to do the movements without killing yourself. The classes are graduate from a Level 1, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0. So you gradually build up your strength and agility allowing you to feel stronger as you progress in the year. They also have TRX classes at this location. Using your body weight to suspend and exercise is a whole different feeling. Everyone is really nice here. The one draw back is the expense. It's $19.88 per class if you sign-up for the 8 pack of classes. If you miss a class or don't cancel within 12 hours, they don't roll over into the next month, so you are throwing money out the window if you don't go. You are also limited to just one studio if you don't pay the extra money to attend anywhere. It's $30 to take one class if you wanted to purchase a few extra for the month. They have an unlimited class pack, but I find it's hard to get there more than twice a week because I do other things too. The other drawback is the limited class schedule, because you are limited in the level of classes you take, there are only a few times a day that you are able to go, either in the early mornings, or in the evenings, because there aren't mid afternoon classes. So I would ask to see their schedule before you sign-up. I guess they pay their instructors pretty well, seeing they have to pay for Club Pilates Certification, and have to travel all over town to teach classes. I still enjoy the benefits of pilates, and I know that I am not motivated enough to do wall pilates at home. Plus I get to meet my friend at this location, so it makes it even better! We are getting healthier together in our old age! One more note: You must cancel a month before you want to cancel your membership, and then you must complete the form they send you online. You can't just call an cancel your membership over the phone. I changed studios and the girl at the other studio told me that was all I had to do, the message went to my junk email, and then I thought I was cancelled but was still paying an not going. As a near retiree, Medicare has helped me with a few classes per month, and I look forward to my Club Pilates because it's good for my joints, my stamina and overall health.
