The instructors, Leonora, Nicole, Patricia, Maria, Samantha, and Stephan and the entire front desk team, continue to be phenomenal and so encouraging. The change Pilates has made in my body has been incredible; I feel stronger, more toned, and more energized than ever. Update: the response by the business is comical. This review is based off of a class I was scheduled for at this (the West Kendall) location. I've taken multiple classes there, even though my home studio is Kendall. 11 hours and 38 minutes prior to the class is not a "last minute cancelation". Potential customers: this is the kind of service you will receive if you become a member. Beware. My review is a solely based on business practices - this does not reflect on the instructors. I cancelled a class for the following day 22 minutes into the 12 hour cancellation window the night before. An employee I manage called out of work for their shift the next day at 9:50 at night. I cancelled my 9:30am class for the next day at 9:52pm due to having to go into work and knowing I wouldn't be able to attend. When I called this morning to explain, I was told I would be charged for the "late cancelation". I pay for the unlimited membership, and attend class almost every day. I've attended 55 classes since joining in December. I cancelled 22 minutes into the 12 hour "window" and was told there was "nothing they could do". I have also been charged multiple times for "no showing" classes that I attended - so if you are a member, check your bank account frequently. This will be remedied if you can prove attendance via them checking the cameras. A note to all members: you must have an "extreme illness" in order to not be charged for a late cancellation. I can understand charging if I had cancelled a few hours before - but 11 hours and 38 minutes prior to the class - for something out of my control - is absurd. No empathy for their members who pay almost $300/month. read more

So incredibly stunned and disappointed by the lack of customer service at this place. My daughter just recently joined with her friend and they have encountered a scheduling issue for level 1. So, finally after almost a week in advance of trying to schedule a level 1, they found a class at 3:30. They rushed out of school to get to this class and when they arrived a minute late from their 5 minute policy , they turned them away. The class was practically empty. We tried to speak to the receptionist and explain and she was ridiculously rude and laughing at us while we practically begged to give us a chance. Again keep in mind she was 1 minute late.. I tried asking for the owner to only be told that she is never around and can't be reached other than sending a general email to the studio. It is really unfortunate that I did not read all of these reviews before signing my daughter up. With that customer service, it will be very difficult for them to continue in business. read more

In order to rate I had to at least put 1 star but Club Pilates Kendall is not worth that. I started my membership and was 2 months in. I had surgery in March and I tried calling a few times to freeze my membership but no one ever answers the phone (not sure why they even have one) They know how to send you birthday flyers to keep you in the loop but they don't email you until you're late (very family oriented, they say). whoever was emailing me after I said that I wasn't paying because not only did I leave 2 credit behind I also didn't go at all meaning that the instructors weren't there for me. So after I informed the person that I wasn't paying they proceeded to charge me a late fee, then a collections company called me on their behalf. what a joke. I should have listened to my boss that got scammed at this location too and they gave her a HARD time to leave. This is the way Club Pilates makes money to open new locations. I don't owe them anything, if anything they owe me 2 classes... let's see if they refund that. You love money as much as I do. Take the L and move on. I have really enjoying going to the Club Pilates West Kendall. I joined about a year after giving birth to my son as a way to slowly start getting but into fitness and to strengthen my core. I can say that it has definitely helped me achieve both those goals. I started off a a struggling beginner and have managed to continue to improve and have started taking level 2 classes. It's been almost two months at Club Pilates and I have had a good experience so far. The first month I took only the level one classes since I was a newbie. I was hesitant that the 1.5 classes would not be available once I was ready to take them since i saw many had waiting lists. Thankfully, I was able to sign up for a few in my desired time range. So I was happy about that. The club itself is very clean. The receptionist in the front is very kind and helpful. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and motivating. Heading on about 2 years of pilates with Club Pilates! It's the best reformer pilates I have tried, even moving from NYC. The studio, the instructors and the classmates have been the best world to be apart of. I have enjoyed my membership for a little over a year now. The studio is clean and the equipment is in good condition. I enjoy the classes & the instructors. I try to go at least 4x a week. I have an issue with the lower part of my spine, but am able to modify when it hurts too much. The one thing that irks me is the $10 charge for canceling less than 12 hrs prior. While I haven't cancelled very many classes, there have been a few. Mainly medical stuff. One of them, I literally missed the deadline by maybe 5 minutes. I understand charging for no shows. But charging for classes for which your spot is immediately filled by someone on the waitlist, just seems like a money grab. If your spot isn't filled, then ok. But for the most part there is always a waitlist for all classes. One other issue that encountered was with their challenges. You can sign up for challenges that usually involve a drawing for a prize. However, the one that I signed up for at the very beginning was the Earn Your Watch Challenge. I did this immediately upon signing up for my membership. Basically, you buy an Apple Watch via their link, attend X number of classes during 4 segments and in the end you earn $200 towards your watch. Each segment is independent from the other, so $50 each. I completed 2 segments and was just shy Of the third during my time there. So, $100 Which I could have used towards merch. The thing is, no one knows anything about this at the club. They try to help, but direct you to corporate. Corporate does not respond. So, I didn't get squat but CP prob gets commission from the click through though. Okay, vent over. We're moving and unfortunately had to cancel my membership. Otherwise, I would have definitely continued practicing at this studio. Great instructors, and friendly atmosphere. Just ignore the challenges. And hope you don't get sick last minute. read more

Very dissatisfied started off great as the first month I got the unlimited but as it is very expensive ( I might as well join Club Life) I changed second month to just 4 clases a month classes are always full last minute slots are not found like they tell you, even when I try to book in advance the club is too small to accommodate so many people, some trainers are very rude , make you feel bad about your form and just don't make the class welcoming . Not consistent, I canceled it already finding out that I have to o go now thru September cause I didn't cancel on time do I got stuck in here for another month , if you don't book your classes a month in advance your screwed read more

I mean don't even know where to start - instructors are not trained well enough they're aren't very encouraging and they could care less if ur form is off - u have to a book your classes like a month in advance because if not there won't be any that are available in the short span of time you can go during the week - if u don't feel like going when the time comes, better suck it up and go bc then they will charge u or take away class credit that u paid for literally - took like 2 months to get my membership canceled bc I had to send an email to corporate or whatever - u don't even get a good workout in, the classes are BORING and unchallenging , music is BORING. This place is a scam. Do not sign up. They find a way to charge you even if you cancel a class over 12 hours in advance by saying "you didn't let the app load" The classes are always full so you are paying hundreds of dollars a month for a service that you cannot use and they keep taking in new members. They make it impossible to cancel your membership and continue charging. Beware of this scam you'll regret it. Also, the place is super dusty they never clean it and its full of mold that made my allergies/asthma act up every time I went. I didn't understand why my asthma was getting bad until one day while laying on the reformer I looked up and saw all the wet, rotting, moldy roof tiles. Go on this app and read all the reviews because everyone that ends up leaving this place say the same things. Very unprofessional money hungry establishment. I never go out of my way to post a review unless its positive but I want to help others by telling you everything you can expect with this place. This has been my pilates studio for almost 2 years now. I have to say that I never imagined I would find such a great fit for me. I am at over 350 classes taken now and I have a completely new body. When I started I had a few concerning health issues and I worried I could not keep up. Their customer service and the app sucks. By mistake I scheduled my first class 3hrs. before it started which I immediately canceled and was able to choose the correct day and time. But next day I realized the cancellation didn't go thru and I lost a class. I explained their customer service/front desk what happened, they said they will review and let me know.
