The atmosphere, community, and…read moretrainers are all amazing, but after the experience I had this week I wanted to share my experience as a warning to others considering attending this gym or getting a membership. I have been attending classes since December, which I purchase through class pass. When I started going, I was told it was permissable to stay and complete my workout after purchasing and attending a class (IE attending a strength class, then after running on the treadmill to complete my workout for the day). As time passed I started to meet people and made some purchases at the front desk for energy drinks/ etc. One day I attended a class and after ran on the treadmill (as I had done a number of times in the past). Once I left I got a notification my card was charged for a full day pass at the gym. Not once did someone notify me this occurred nor did I authorize it. I contacted a manager at the facility I knew, and they stated they charged my card as I used gym equipment after the class. I told them I was unaware of this, as I and many other classpass users thought it was allowed. I feel violated in a way because I was charged without any warning and they did not refund the amount. If I had known they were going to do this I would've left and ran outside!

Puch Fitness is sweet and smiley signing you up for an auto renewing commitment. However, it is almost impossible to terminate one. This has been the case in my experience in at least five years. They don't pick up the phone. The mailbox eventually says it hasn't been set up. ...I eventually had to send an email to corporate, look around in my spam folder for a response days later, and go through infuriating obstacles and hoops to talk to a person. For a second time, I am attempting to quit while two billing cycles have gone by. I must remind myself the employee at the end of management's stick are not the problem. Gimme luck. Since it is a small local place class sizes tend to be small and the gym has plenty of open spots to workout. All of the staff is amazing and every class I have been to is great. They have so many possible times to get to each day just incase you work its pretty easy to still get to classes. They offer tabata, spin classes, burn workouts, yoga and every few months they add in new classes they offer. The instructors are very professional and always know what they are doing and offer modifications for those who need it.

The pandemic took a real toll on my fitness routine and I knew I needed to try something different if I wanted to start feeling better again, so I took a shot on winning 6 personal training sessions with these guys. I was blown away immediately by the upbeat, encouraging attitudes of each team member who acknowledged that I was struggling but also made it clear that we were going to work hard and work together to get me back to where I wanted to be. I finished out my trial 6-pack of sessions and loved them so much that I decided to purchase more to keep going! My sessions are 30 minutes each of intense and challenging guided exercises with healthy doses of "atta girl"s and very good music for a soundtrack. It's a solid 30 minute commute for me to get here but it's so worth it. They also offer nutrition training and total health coaching. If you're looking to do something good for your body, give these guys a call!
