She is so gifted-- she has significant experience with Pilates and she is so in tune with her students. For a new to Pilates person like myself, she is super encouraging, patient, and motivating. I can imagine how amazing she would be with a student more experienced with the method as well. Pilates is an amazing workout, and my body feels better all week after having a session with Diana. I feel stronger, and more steady and balanced on my feet. Pilates really strengthens your core-- I have noticed my posture is better too. I feel Pilates is an investment in myself and my long term health and wellness. Diana has good rates, is super easy to book and schedule with, and has a cute studio in downtown Brisbane. Thanks Diana!

Oh, and I did look pretty great in the dress too :) I've never been one of those people who loves to work out, but she really made me understand my body more and how a few hours a week can totally transform your life. After a year and a half seeing Diana, I've seen my body and life change. My posture has improved, I no longer suffer from insomnia, and well my jeans look better than they did before! Diana is the perfect balance of being a friend and a professional. She makes you work HARD and still manages to squeeze in some fun conversations too. She is extremely knowledgeable about Pilates, body alignment and rehabbing injuries so I'm super excited that she's opened her own studio. The more Diana in this city the better!!!!!

I was very curious about Pilates reformer classes and saw that Club Pilates offered a free trial…read moreclass. Trial classes are only on Sat afternoons or Wed evenings at the moment. It's best to call the studio and get on the waitlist. I enjoyed the intro class with Lea. She was friendly and clear with her instructions. We got to use the reformer machines and other equipment to give us a taste of what the full classes are like (and also to learn the lingo). I signed up for the unlimited membership immediately. Lauren and Sandra explained the details of the different memberships very clearly and also mentioned the 12 hr cancellation policy. I downloaded the app right away and was happy to see that it is very user friendly. A lot of classes are often full, but if you book the classes early, you should be able to get the class you want. Don't let the waitlist scare you-- People cancel and spaces open up all the time. Just remember which classes you are booked for and which ones you're on the waitlist for. The studio is clean with cubbies to store your belongings plus a water station. There's also merch you can buy as well as sticky socks (required for class.) I love how all the instructors have their own teaching style. It makes the experience more fun :) After coming here 3x a week for 3 months, I feel stronger, am more toned and have more energy than I did before. So thankful I found Club Pilates

I'm disappointed to be leaving this review because the instructors are good and the studio itself…read moreis clean and nice, but I'm very frustrated with how my membership was communicated and handled. In June, the studio reached out to me about their semi-annual membership. I explained that I travel frequently and was interested in the 48 credit option because I wanted the flexibility to use the credits around my schedule. I was told that this option would work well for me, including that the credits would roll over from month to month. Based on that conversation, I decided to pay $1,237 upfront, which is a significant amount of money for me. What was not clearly communicated to me was that all 48 credits had to be used within the six month term or they would expire. If I had understood that I would essentially need to take 8 classes a month to use everything within the term, I would not have purchased this membership given my schedule and how often I'm out of town. When I realized the issue and went to the front desk, I was essentially told that my only option was to book as many classes as possible over the next few months or lose the remaining credits. I understand that the terms of a contract matter, and I can see the expiration language in the contract now. However, I think there is a significant difference between having something buried in the contract and clearly communicating an important limitation when selling a $1,237 membership, particularly when the customer has specifically discussed their scheduling needs with the studio. I would have appreciated some effort to make this right, a partial refund, a short extension of the membership, or even another reasonable solution. Instead, the response was essentially, "sorry that wasn't relayed to you." That was extremely disappointing. I also came across other reviews mentioning billing issues, which makes me wish I had paid more attention before signing up. I took a chance on this studio because I liked the classes and the convenience, but this experience has definitely changed my impression. The instructors themselves have been great, and the facilities are clean, which I appreciate. I'll continue coming in over the next couple of months because I need to use the credits I already paid for, but I'm very unhappy with how this situation was handled and would encourage anyone considering a prepaid membership to ask very specific questions about expiration, rollover, and exactly how many classes they realistically need to take each month before paying upfront. The issue for me isn't that the membership has terms. I understand that. It's that a major limitation wasn't clearly communicated to me before I committed $1,237, despite specifically discussing my schedule with the studio.

I tried out the Newbie unlimited pass, and was going about 3-4 times a week. What I love about this studio is that they seem to have instructors that are more invested with each of its clients. For instance, the instructors call out participants by name saying how great they are doing in a move. I also like how some instructors incorporate arm weights into the class, which look tiny, but are quite strenuous. My favorite instructors are Corri, Ina, Ariel, and Mara. After being here for a few months, I'd say 90% of the instructors are good, and you will get a good workout in. Some things I don't like about the studio are the booking options for the classes. By first glance, it looks impossible to book a class, as the options are almost always "waitlist only." I am pulled off the waitlist about 80% of the time, but not always. I always feel like in general, it's annoying to be put on a waitlist, instead of being confirmed right away. In addition, if I could change the membership options, what I would change is the options for classes per month. It skips from 8 classes/month to 12 classes/month, which is a big jump. Wish there was an option in between to choose from. Another bummer is the mirrors in the class. 80% of the reformer machines have mirrors on all sides, but there are a few spots that don't have many options, so it's hard to see yourself in the mirror to correct yourself. The parking is really easy in this area, which is amazing. Even in broad daylight, the residential parking a block down and over are free for 2-4 hours! Love that! In general, I really love this studio and would recommend if you want to try Reformer pilates.

I did 2 morning classes which worked out perfectly for my schedule and the parking outside (street cleaning so be aware of the days, also no meter paying until 9AM). The studio is very well setup, spacious and clean with good ventilation/ac. Reformers are staggered with lots of mirror around and motivational words up top (love that!). I appreciate the little baskets each reformer has for our personal items, such as smart way to keep out things in one place, next to us! Very high 4 stars rating, only things that brings it down is its soo pricey for a membership or per session... but that's a Pilates reformer class anywhere you go. Nevertheless, definitely worth the try and I just may be back every once in a while!

(This review is only for the V3 location)…read more I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I've been a member for over a year and had switched over from a different pilates studio. I was impressed with the reformer machines and everything was always so clean. What sold me was the 60 class deal. It was much more affordable than what I was paying at the other studio. I love having the flexibility to sign up for classes when I have time. I was even able to bring my hubby with me to class (text to arrange an extra booking) Bookings done on the MINDBODY app. I believe new classes get posted every 2 weeks. If a class is full, join the waitlist! There's a high chance you'll eventually get in! My favorite instructor is Kimi- she's clear with instructions, gently corrects our posture when we're a little off and challenges us. She also offers modifications depending on our comfort level. If you like extra spicy classes, definitely book Kylie's classes!! Vennu is more than just another pilates studio- they host fun events and the community is really welcoming. If this is you as well, Rise might be the jumpstart you need to get back into an active lifestyle! With that being said, I was super happy to find out that Rise SSF is the only Pilates studio in South San Francisco and is a collective as well! I've taken classes with Joanel, Ely, and Justin. They're all very instructive and supportive, I definitely feel the burn the following day from their classes. The studio itself is very clean and has music at a moderate volume- the focus is on your form and timing. I think Pilates is best done as a supplementary exercise and can be best paired with another activity like cardio or lifting weights, but it definitely has benefits where it tests muscles that you don't normally work out.

Signing up for classes is seamless and almost effortless through their web portal. RISE offers a broad selection of Reformer-based classes, some of which use weights. They also offer classes on Saturday and Sunday, which is impressive to me. Parking is available in the business district and in front of the studio, depending on the time of day. SSF has extended metered parking around the area, but it is not expensive. The residential neighborhood is a couple of blocks away and has no metered parking.
