[[HIGHLIGHT]]RJ does a great job running the front desk and keeping everything organized[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], while JR has been taking great care of my body during my sessions. JR is really knowledgeable and takes the time to figure out what's causing my tightness instead of just stretching me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He explains what's going on with my body and gives me stretches I can do at home to help between visits.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I play golf, bowl, and basketball, so my legs and lower body are always tight and fatigued. JR really focuses on those areas and makes sure I get the stretches I need. He's also strong as hell, which definitely helps when he's getting my legs and hips into positions I could never do on my own. If you're active or just spend a lot of time sitting at a desk, I'd definitely recommend checking out StretchLab. My husband and I had our initial visit last week and could not be happier we came. The place is located near a Safeway parking lot so parking is not a problem. Their place in Burlingame is clean and not cluttered. The flexologists are nice and welcoming. I appreciate Juliana who put me at ease and explained each step. She works on my focus areas listening and getting feedback often. My husband valued Bob's input teaching him maneuvers to help him with his stretches. You feel that they are genuinely invested in helping you to maintain stretches even beyond your sessions with them. They have packages available but since I travel for work, I opted for walk-in appointments. Best to set up yout next appointment as soon as you know your schedule since they fill up easily. Started out great. Very pleased with the stretches and where helpful to relieve aches and pains. I then broke 2 ribs and broke my foot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had to put services on hold- which they did without an issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Until a month before I was told I would have to call back to restart or renew my hold, I received an email stating that Stretchlab had charge $349 to my credit card. I contact Stretchlab and was told that the "freeze" on the account was lifted and therefore I needed to pay for the next month. I explained I am still have issues with my foot and that we would be moving therefore needed to close my account and asked that the $349 be reimbursed. After several phone calls I was told that it is policy when a account is closed you still pay for the next month $349. I also said I wanted to close my husband's account and they said he would be charged $349 also. So, if you go to cancel your account beware you will be charged for $349- which they say you can come use or give to another friend. I am moving. I would not send my friend to this business. I am blocking the charges on my credit card as Stretch lab wants us to pay $700 for services not rendered. Basically stealing our money. Very poor business tactics. read more

I've been coming to StretchLab weekly for more than two years and have worked with several of the stretchologists - Tim, Caroline, Juian, Bobby, Layla, and Lorraine (who I worked with for more than a year but she's no longer there.) All of them are great and have their own unique way of stretching you out. Recently, I have been working with Marcella. She is quite strong and does a very thorough job of stretching me out. I always feel loose when I leave. The staff have gone out of their way to accommodate my scheduling requests. read more

No one greeted me; I got a few looks up and down but nothing else.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally one less than friendly girl asks "did you just walk in?" Wtf? Uh yes I did, I have an appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She puts down her cup of whatever she was drinking and says I'm with her and to find a table. No offer of where to put my stuff, water, nothing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ask for a bathroom and a second less than friendly girl who has just walked in with a purple shake of some sort tells me that no, they don't have a working bathroom but I could go to Safeway or the pizza place. I tell them never mind, I'll just wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I then ask if I should take off my shoes and they say yes and that I need grip socks. Note this was never mentioned when I signed up, and note that I never received an email or text reminder or anything with any kind of explanation of what to expect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also note that I had on athletic socks, just not with grips. From what I can see with all the other clients, they are on tables and not doing any kind of floor work that would require grip socks. At that point she says I can buy a pair for $16. I say no thanks because by then I have gotten such a nasty feel for this place that I tell them to cancel today's session. Their accounting/customer service or lack of SUCKS! A friend and I happen to walk by the Stretchlab last Saturday. I booked and prepaid for my first session for Tuesday (3 days later). Upon arriving, I confirmed with the gentlemen that checked me in that the session was prepaid. Upon checking out and confirming again that the first session was prepaid, the charge showed up on my credit card the very next day. After explaining and being hung up on 3 times, the person that finally gave me an answer told me that they only see one charge for the initial appointment and there is nothing they can do EVEN THOUGH I OFFERED TO BRING MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT. All the negative reviews stem from their SHADY accounting and customer service. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before putting my credit card on file. BEWARE! I'm pretty active (gym + walking the pup everyday) and definitely the type of person who doesn't include stretching into my daily routine. Range of motion for me definitely needs improvement. Driving by, I was definitely interested in trying this place out! StretchLab offers one-to-one personal stretching sessions in either a 25 or 50-min session. They had an introductory price of $29 for 25min or $49 for 50min, I decided to go with the 50 minute. They accept walk-ins (which is what I did) but I'd recommend calling to book an appointment. My first session was with Reggie. He asked me which areas I felt needed work, so each session is really personalized to you. Reggie was great at directing my on how to position my body, reminding me to breathe and getting me into a comfortable position. They use a scale of 1-10 for tolerance, with 10 being the toughest. He instructed me to let him whenever I got between a 6 or 7, depending on the stretch. I felt comfortable from start to finish. After my session, I could feel all the tingles in my body. Walking out I definitely felt a little more pep in my step and a lot looser. I know Yoga is good for flexibility but honestly being able to lay on a table and have it done for me, is pretty cool. This place will give you a confusing contract and they are not up front with how to quit the monthly payments. Once you have credits if not used they expire at the cost of over 100 per session. My appointments were cancelled or changed causing me the frustration of not being able to attend. Then as a busy traveling professional once I got time to book all credits are now gone.
