Called GG yesterday who said SIM2 no problem getting it replaced. Today same store says TM wants proof of purchase. Why to prove this is a TM Driver? I said fine Im a GG member, just look my account up. Sorry we only keep 90 day of information. Another Staff said did you use credit card? I said probably. "well there you go", then I asked how does a charge at Golf Galaxy prove this was a TM driver purchase. I left the driver on the counter. I will never buy another Taylor Made anything nor will I ever purchase from Golf Galaxy again.

What I found was the available items were bigger ticket items (weight machines and full sets, treadmills, ellipticals, row machines). These are items that take up a lot of space. I was surprised by the number of smaller, new items, and it provides a great customer experience for shoppers. No need to drive to a big box store. They have an entire wall of shoes for every type of sport. This store provides a great variety - and I can't think of a sport missed. It was nice to see people enjoying their niche area, from a family with a son doing baseball and a young adult looking at golf clubs. Seeing all the options and accessories reminds me of the commitment people make when playing sports. We were greeted right away and allowed to browse without pressure. The guy on the phone (Kyle Newell, Owner, Golftec Louisville) stopped me and asked if I was going to commit to come in every week to "train"... I said I didn't know yet, but my schedule wouldn't allow me the time to come in EVERY week and that the little time that I get, I try to spend on the course actually playing golf... he subsequently said that he "questioned my commitment" to my golf game and that a swing evaluation would just be a waste of time... And of course this is said after it's too late for a refund, which explains his attitude. Furthermore, despite what their website says, this "professional" shop doesn't offer Titleist clubs... or Players Irons, for that matter, only Game Improvement Irons.... Which makes it pretty ironic that they would have the nerve to question anyone's commitment... but I guess if you look at how much they charge to "train" it makes sense that they would try to manipulate/pressure you into more...especially if they already have your money.

I'm still going through a swing deconstruction phase on the way to rebuilding (I've only taken about five lessons of a 40-lesson package), so it's too soon to know what results I'll ultimately see, but I'm pretty sold on the method of instruction here, which relies heavily on video and technology and emphasizes a holistic approach to development rather than relying on spot fixes. Also, the guys who operate the franchise are very friendly and professional, and accordingly I've enjoyed my lesson and practice time at their facilty. As soon as he stopped the cart, a pro shop employee approached us in an aggressive and unprofessional manner, immediately raising his voice and scolding us for allowing my son to drive. While I understand the rule that children should not operate the cart, this was a brief and controlled situation, and my intention was simply to let my son enjoy a small part of the experience, as he loves the game and spending time golfing with me. The employee's behavior was completely inappropriate and could have been handled in a calm and respectful way. I've played many courses around Louisville and have never encountered anything like this. In fact, I've spoken with other golfers who mentioned they no longer visit this course specifically because of this employee. I will not be returning. Additionally, the course conditions did not justify the $37 price. I would instead recommend Sleepy Hollow, where the course is well-maintained, more affordable, family-owned, and staffed by friendly, professional people.
