(Owner and director Arlene) I was charged $150 for a registration fee after being told it would be waived. They later promised a refund, but of course, it was never returned. We only attended for one and a half days, yet they still kept the money. Between the neglect, lack of basic infant care, and outright lying about fees, this place has shown it CANNOT be trusted. The activities are age appropriate and geared towards development; and fun for the kids! The facility is clean and well kept-I have never smelled anything other than food (which my son loves) or cleaning products. There are opportunities for extracurricular activities and programming for parents (which I intended to take advantage of but my schedule just didn't allow). Parental well being is encouraged by parent's night out where the staff graciously extend their day and allow us to be able to have kid free time to use as we please. Each day we are greeted by staff, and I have not had one negative encounter. Everyone is always positive and kind to myself and my son. I have seen him progress and grow in our short time here, and for that I am thankful. Security and safety are a priority, with codes and diligent staff who monitor incoming and outgoing persons. I love that I am able to check in on my son via the camera system, and also receive updates regularly during the day via the app from teachers. I can truly say that this is one of the best day care experiences I have had. When we went to visit she greeting us with smile as the Assistant Director took us around. Ms. Navalon, Ms Claudia, Ms. Safia, Ms Alice, and Ms Carolyn were so accommodating and assured me that my LO was going to be well taken care of. By the end of the walk through, we went over the plans and they encouraged us to visit other centers and let them know. They didn't force us to make a decision and I didn't feel hustled. My LO stayed for 9 months until we moved and I wish with all my heart that I could take the entire staff with me. She loved it and knew when it was a "daycare day". They sent frequent pictures with commentary on her mood, the intake log included how much of each bottle she took, when she was sick and couldn't attend (gut bug, 1st colds etc) they sent messages to make sure she was ok, and they sent home her art projects which was frequent. They have a surplus of age appropriate activities and I could tell my LO was learning. Best of all - for me at least- the staff had no less than 5 years experience. I'd say the average was 9 years with the company and location. They are affordable, the curriculum is amazing and they care for the child as well as the family. I miss their expertise dearly. That same night, I also emailed about her having consumed only 7 oz total all day despite being offered her bottles, which is completely out of character for her. We scheduled a meeting for the next morning (her third day) to address these concerns. During that meeting, we explained that while we understood the transition period, it was clear the detailed paperwork we completed was not being reviewed or followed. It became obvious to us that the teachers were used to doing things their own way despite clear instructions and were not accustomed to parents stepping in when they noticed something was off. We also emphasized that timely communication was critical. If she was not eating, napping, or following her normal patterns, we needed to be told immediately because it could signal something was wrong. The owner (Jay) tried to frame it as "transitioning" or "separation anxiety," but our main concern was that her needs and schedule were not being prioritized. It took repeating ourselves and even showing up to pick up our daughter right after our meeting, because they didn't follow through with what we said, before we saw any attempt to follow our instructions. On top of that, one morning we received a call asking if our baby might be hungry because they thought she was showing signs. This was extremely irritating because in her drop-off notes that morning, I wrote that she last ate at 6:20 AM, and the call came around 10:20 AM. According to our paperwork, she eats every 3 to 4 hours, so of course she was hungry. In the same call, they asked if it was okay to try another nap because she had woken up quickly and still seemed sleepy. If she still seemed tired and did not sleep, obviously it was fine to try again. It was baffling to see them operate "by the book" as if all babies function on set times, yet they also failed to read or apply the instructions we provided. This raised serious red flags about their ability to read and respond to cues, think on the fly, and actually learn a child's unique needs. When I expressed my concerns, Ms. Brandy responded, "I don't think there's miscommunication, we just want to make sure you're pleased," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. By the end of her first week, she developed Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease, confirmed by urgent care. She had visible sores on her fingers and chin during the day, yet no one notified us at drop-off, pick-up, or during care. Combined with the earlier eating concerns, this raises serious questions about their attentiveness, sanitation protocols, and overall health safety practices. The owner, Jay, is eager to emphasize that his daycare is great, but when you can see the opposite on the camera feed, it does not line up. On top of that, Jenna rushes through the tour and talks extremely fast, which should have been a red flag for us. For these reasons, I do not at all recommend Kiddie Academy. Keep a good eye on your babies and don't just take their word for anything!!!! Also editing to add: I sent my unenrollment email, which included notifying them that my child had Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease and clearly outlining all the reasons we were stepping away from the daycare. I received no reply at all, yet I checked if the camera system still was active to tell me if they saw my email and they sure did! Given the urgency of that information, their lack of response says a lot about their priorities and reinforces the communication issues we experienced throughout our short time there.

The facility NEVER informed us about it or gave us restitution classes or discount for the missed classes. I reminded him that we only enrolled for the summer, and he did not take any classes after!!! but he did not listen. Look for a better place, they are just milking the customers, not leaning, no business ethics.
