As I passed a couple of fuel stations, this food truck caught my eye. Its closing time was 3 am which is unheard of in my local area. Clutch City Cluckers has a fleet of trucks covering the greater Houston area. All of them stay open well past midnight. The menu was a variety of fried fare with a focus on chicken. Seafood was also available so I picked the Shrimp Daddy Tacos with a side of french fries that were waffle-style. Three flour tortillas were each filled with a slaw mix, sliced pickles, and Cluck It sauce that topped pieces of fried shrimp. The sauce was a tangy remoulade. Orders were made fresh so it took around ten minutes before my food was ready. For $18 after tax, the amount of food was good while the quality was average. For years now, I have passed this place with the promise I will one day stop in. This is a Food truck . I am not into Chicken tenders or Sallies Mississippi Hot chicken. They are located in the front corner of a gas station , parking almost non existent. That is a problem for customers wanting to park and wait and Customers that want to buy gas. I drove 13 minutes from home to this place ordered my food and it was about a 20 minute wait , when I received my food I checked it to make sure everything was there , proceeded to drive back home when I got home I opened my food realized the fries had no seasoning , my burger had pickles on it and I told them no pickles and the chicken tasted horrible , most disgusting thing I ever ate , I then proceeded to drive back to the place and when I got there I gave them the food back and they said they weren't able to give me a refund I paid $36 & they only gave me $20 back the guy who took my order told me if I like the food to leave a review and if I didn't don't leave a review at all ....
