Mohammed said Home Depot called them but the Home Depot manager said they just drive around on their own looking to tow cars so they can make money. Where I parked had no "no parking" signs whatsoever. He wouldn't let my car off the truck even though he had only driven a few yards at that point before I discovered my car was being towed. This tow company is a scam. their credit card machine has been down well over a year , someone needs to know they're accepting cash payments although their sign say they accept all credit cards. there's no signs with the fees posted and when u ask they get really nasty especially the short one who goes by the name Joe as well as the fat Hispanic one that's a driver as well . they provide no itemized receipt & some not receiving a receipt at all . My friends car got towed from a parking lot. Upon calling the service they overcharged based on what we recovered from the sign that was on the floor in the lot. Then when they arrived with no car the first time when they proceeded to berate my friend when a receipt was requested. After being paid they came again without the car but delivered someone else's car that was contacted after us. After two hours of waiting in the rain. Clutch towing is a horrible company. They have the contract with Allstate, and my car broke down. I asked Allstate for roadside assistance, and they took the request. I called them to ask where the tow truck was since I was given at ETA of 12:10am. They boldly lied, and said that the "never got the request". They just didn't want to send a tow truck. After I put a second request, they wouldn't take anymore requests. I had to get my own tow truck, and they were there in 15 minutes. They are liars, thieves, and dishonest. STAY AWAY!!!!!! They are scammers. They are so unprofessional. You have to pay upfront before they look at your car. All they want is their money upfront. They charged me $400 to tow my car after we had an accident. I went to get my plates and when I called they said they close at 4pm. It was 345. So they got me for an extra day. I called the police because they were giving me a hard time and when the cops came, they said that this tow company shouldn't be in business any longer and that they get at least one call a day about them. I wanted to sign over my title to them so they could junk the car. I said you'll get money from the junk yard for the scrap and he claimed that they don't get anything. I finally gave in and wanted to pay with my cc. They said the machine was done. They wanted cash. Another Red Flag. Then they were pissed that I asked for a receipt. No information on receipt. After all this I'm told that the car is not in the lot next to the office but in a lot a few minutes away. INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE SHOULD INVESTIGATE THEM FOR TAKING CASH. This is not a real tow business it is a scam company. It seems I have actually had a relatively good experience with them in the end as I read the reviews and see what others have been through. They are young two young theives who love what they do and are proud of it. I was parked for 4 hrs in a Dunkin Donuts lot in Gowanus (yes this is poor judgement but I bought a full meal and sat in my car on my phone for a good 30 minutes). There was a small sign in the middle of the lot about five cars down saying $125 tow fee if towed. I called and went right to them in canarsie and they would not give the car back for less than $245. They also said they closed at 4pm...it was 3pm when I called and the sign showed 24/7 hours. When I questioned the difference in price the person became agitated and angry telling me he'd call the police (I kind of wish I let him). Then, two tow trucks cornered me as I was trying to leave- after giving them the full amount. One of the guys got on a loud speaker in his truck and said 'what you looking at bitch' - such new york shady stuff. I was alone in Canarsie, at a lot with an address written in sharpie marker. I should have asked my uber driver (another $60) to stay and wait with me as the whole thing began to feel hostile...I feel grateful that it wasn't later in the day. I wish I could do more to stop this from happening to anyone else. I offered to pay twice as much for them to leave the next person alone...it was just the worst reminder of what the worst of us have come to. read more

horrible horrible service. Call the police and found out that they saw my vehicle. Call him and ask him that they have my vehicle. He refused to give me any information on my vehicle. I asked him where was he located because the police told that they had my vehicle so I wanted it to find out on my own because he was useless over the phone. I get to the place I see my vehicle. He tells me he can only release it if I am the owner, I never showed him my license or registration he charged me $310 for my vehicle. My car got towed 10:37 PM. I picked up my car at 9:30 a.m. The next morning. as I got there im talking to him about my vehicle. I asked why was it so high? He said I had to pay for two days to calendar days. My car hasn't even been there 24 hours and he told me his card machine wasn't working. I said why is the machine not connected where is the wire? the wire for the machine to be connected he said they don't have the wire to connect the machine. so he was wasting a lot of my time. He said somebody will be here to fix the machine at 4:00 PM at this point already 12 AM so come to find out they car machine never worked so I had to go find a bank which I'm not even from New York and I only end up paying him 240 these people are rude and reckless after I paid he refused to give me a receipt of what I was paying for I told him to break down the prices every time it was a different price, unprofessional people and disgusting people. liars and thieves. read more

They took my car after a no fault accident and refused to release it to me because I wasn't registered to it. Reason why they were being petty is because I refused to use their mechanic to fix my car to profit of me. I was the driver that got into the accident. I even had the registered owners License / Title / Registration and they still refused to give me the car back. The owner was in a different country and could not retrieve the car back from the lot as they requested. I even got two notarized letter from my Father (the owner) saying to release the car to me and they still refused, cops was no help. I had to go to the DMV and add myself to the registration and the insurance which spoke my insurance to $800 a month. Then they gave me a bull shit receipt, after I asked for the itinerary they refused. What they try to do is look for a reason to keep someone's car in the lot past a month because after a month your car considered abandonment, and they are allowed to auction your car. read more
