Best full service bar in the city, hands down! They have a wide selection of domestic and import beers on tap. New owners are awesome!

The kitchen is open at 5pm, I recommend trying the breaded tenderloin or a buffalo chicken wrap.

What I really admitted about this place is the owner walking around communicating with everyone and checking to see if everything was going ok!! She was really sweet. Also shoutout to our server Noah who was awesome and funny. Not only was he gents or he also recommended! For it to be a carpeted space, it was very clean on the inside and smelled really fresh. The smell of food hit me before I even got inside. The seats were comfortable and they even had bar searing as well as an event space room. The food really deserves its own review but I can't leave two . Everything I would get again no questions asked! My only suggestion would be maybe add a tad of seasoning to the wings but the smoke flavor and sauce was too tier! Easy 10/10 for me!

The service is absolutely amazing -- attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the moment you walk in. You can tell the staff truly cares about the experience they're providing. The Hoppy Gnome (downtown Fort Wayne, southeast side of courthouse) - new food menu, you decide!…read more The old food offerings were the reason I came here and the reason I preferred not to come back. I loved the Cuban flavors, unique food items and the variety of tacos. Everyone loves tacos and The Hoppy Gnome did (still does, only 4 versions now) them well. However...after about a half dozen visits...I got bored with the same offerings. On line posters and most frequent customers (according to the manager) tend to favor the old menu. I, personally, found the change very refreshing and delicious! I will be back as there are lots of new things to try! The Hoppy Gnome is located downtown on the southeast side of the court house. You can park in the Citizens Center parking lot for free after 5pm. It is safe and right across the street from The Gnome. Making a reservation is easy on Open Table. I would suggest you do that versus walking in. The inside is still appealing with the bright and colorful industrial decor. They have a large private seating area for parties. They also have a street side outdoor patio. We sat outside on this summer evening. The area is spacious with solid high table furniture. People watching is fun but the traffic can be really loud at times. The new menu has a much broader appeal and less emphasis on Cuban only items. You will find lots of appetizer choices. Salads, burgers, flatbreads, pasta, seafood and chicken dishes are available. There are a decent number of specialty entrees and four varieties of tacos. All items pretty reasonably priced. Here is a run down on the food we ordered: -Chicken Flatbread: the crust was a little thicker than a normal thin crust and very soft; the manager said they really researched out this crust to fit their style; lots of delicious grilled chicken and toppings; very tasty! -Miso Honey Wings: 8 medium sized wings that are grilled and dipped; slightly crunchy skins; all white color on the inside but perhaps a little over cooked as the wing meat was tough and a bit dry; very unique sauce - very thick, sticky and rich in consistency; mild amount of sweetness and teriyaki flavors. The manager says about 70% of the people that order wings get the Miso Honey sauce. This dish was very good also! -Side salad: nice sized side salad; very fresh and attractive; no iceberg lettuce here - real greens; nice garnishment of carrots, cucumbers and roasted red peppers The team here was very friendly and professional - per normal. They hustled to serve. We particularly enjoyed sharing our experience with the manager and getting insight on the changes. Give the new menu a try for yourself!!

We went to go celebrate my husband's birthday and our server had too many tables because the service wasn't the best. She was okay but for their prices we shouldn't be waiting to get refills for a while. We received 3 of our 4 meals an hour after ordering. I ordered a pizza and I knew it takes 30 minutes but my entire family was done eating and I asked the server if it was almost done. She said the cooks didn't know. I'm going to guess it was never rang in. Because it was pushing 1.5 hrs and it wasn't close to being done? They were steady but I wouldn't say busy. They had plenty of staff on but our server had a lot of tables. We left and she took the pizza off and apologized but I don't think that's enough when one person leaves and doesn't get dinner. If the kitchen was behind, if the pizzas were taking longer, if the service wasn't going to be lacking "just be honest at the beginning". Honestly was truly disappointing and not a good visit.

The kitchen did an outstanding job at making it presentable in a half dish manner. There was plenty of toppings to accent the salad. The grilled chicken was moist, easy to cut and slightly seasoned to enjoy. The Cobb salad is a must try if you are a salad goer. The pizza was good. It has a thin crust that was crispy but not burnt. The pizza was just soft enough that you could cut it with a fork. We had the everything pizza. There was a good variety of toppings and plenty of them. The sauce was not very predominant. I would probably ask for extra sauce next time so I could enjoy the tomato sauce accents more. Overall...good thin crust pizza.

We had a group of 6 people who were extremely excited to try this place, especially the steak. This review won't do it justice as it's hard to put into words how awkward and uncomfortable the staff made us feel. Long story short, there were 2 empty tables that we asked if we could push together and they said no because they were not next to one another (completely understandable). We then asked a small group at a table, who were done eating and just hanging out, if we could buy them a round of drinks and we'd swap tables so we'd be able to seat our group together. The people at the table were so kind and said, "yes, absolutely." The rude waitress and bartender quickly ran over, yelled at us, told us how wrong that was of us, and continued to berate us saying it's not okay to do that (even though the people at the table kept saying it wasn't a problem at all). Our party quickly went up to the bar to buy the table a round of drinks, as we decided it'd be best if we just left, and the bartender wouldn't allow us to buy the table a drink because they said they don't serve people like us (we weren't buying for us, we were buying for the kind people at the table). We ended up just giving the table cash to pay for their drinks and we left as we were not trying to cause a scene or any commotion. I honestly can't get over how outwardly mean and vocal the staff were to our group. We've never been treated that way before by any staff at any location. We went over to The 07 Pub and had the best time, with the kindest staff, and amazing food.
