OK, are used to live in Ft Wayne years ago. I worked at Paul seafood restaurant with Paula and all the crew. Then we would go and have a drink at O'Sullivan's and Floyd would be bartending. He was always very respectful and attentive. I came in for a family function and thought you know what let me go have a drink at O'Sullivan's, I miss that place especially on St. Patrick's Day and I walked in tonight and sat for 20 minutes before I had to ask a female bartender that was there who gave me attitude Floyd would never put up with that shit that little girl wasn't even born when I was drinking there And she'll probably be working there the rest of her life. Everyone has to try this place at least once. They are amazing. Definitely a hole in the wall bar, with a bathroom that needs updated..but 100% worth it. The pizza is the best pizza I have ever had. They offer some bar olympics like video games and pinball, darts, etc. Plenty of TV's for watching sports, Chive, etc. Rockin' juke box, popcorn, peanuts, pizza, etc. On Wednesdays they offer a great Italian menu for eat-in or take-out. Bartenders are sharp and attentive, and the beer and hard liquor selections have something for everybody. Labatt Blue on tap. Single malt scotch. Wine. They get 3 stars out of me simply for St. Patrick's Day. I'm sure I would love anywhere I go in the condition I am in by the time I arrive there. Sober - I'm not so sure. It's kind of gross... not very clean... super divey. However, my friends swear that Thursday night techno night is fun... I don't know if they still do this, but I just can't see myself here any other time. It is not well kept, but I guess some people like their dive bars like that? Meh, not me... Good place if you come at the right time! I like the free pizza and just about all of the bartenders. Don't let that bartender Floyd make you a mixed drink, all ice cubes, mix and just a hint of booze. Kills him to pour a shot of whiskey also, because a shot is a shot and Floyd thinks of ways to make it smaller. He doesn't like to give you anything for sure. Acts like he's to good to go fetch you some pizza and for some reason when he serves it the toppings are nearly nonexistent. When other bartenders fetch you some pizza Ahhhh Mane is it good! Floyd likes serving them non alcoholic drinks that you pay for, but get hardly and alcohol and he likes serving crust not pizza. You know just the crust? Ice cubes and crust when Floyd is working so watch out for him. He looks out for the owners bottom line a little bit to much to the point where is stealing from you (ripping you off) This is a 5 star place, but the fact Floyd is in here a little bit to much knocked 2 stars off (good going Ahole) You play portion control pushing the skimpy to the limit Son, I will come when he isn't here. It's a dive bar. It is old and dirty, as is a lot of Fort Wayne. If you don't like either of those two ideas, then go elsewhere. That said, the waitstaff is excellent. They have always gotten my drinks as quickly as possible, and my God, if you've ever ordered pizza, the female bartender gets it to you QUICK! The bar has a lot of local bands in with NO COVER. The St. Patrick's day shenanigans are ridiculous, to say the least, but appropriate to the holiday. Techno Thursdays are a big favorite, as are the Washington Apples. Hands down the best bar in Fort Wayne. A staple. A classic. I've been coming here for years, ever since turning 21, and even on Italian night before then. Every single person I hang out with in Ft Wayne at some point has been to O's with me. The atmosphere is just a little dirty, but standard dive bar feel. St Patrick's day is crazy here. Clientele ranges in all ages and the beer is always cold. If you're lucky enough to be there while the oven is on, don't skip on a piece of pizza. Enjoy O'Sullivans, it is a gem. read more

Stopped in one evening with a few friends and the female bar tender ignored the 3 of us girls for a good 10 minutes. She helped all of the guys around us and walked past us at least 20 times. We finally caught her eye and she asked if she could help us. The drinks were decent. We left a good tip to prove to her that girls tip can tip good as well. Though the bar is non-smoking it smells a bit like pee in some spots and just all around stale. I overheard another guy mentioning the smell to some of his friends as well. My friends and I went to play darts only to find that the entire wall was covered in pictures of drunk girl's boobs from St. Patty's day. While some people might like that sort of thing. It made the rest of the night a bit awkward and my friends and I found it so tacky that we won't ever go back to O'Sullivans. Old sports jerseys cling to the even older second layer of a drop ceiling in this dank smelling interior of a run down joint. This place must be a fire hazard, and the exterior begs for a wrecking ball to be placed square in the middle of it's dilapidated self. That said, the barkeep was friendly, the other patrons pleasant, and since they had Smithwicks on tap, the beer was good. Bring your permanent marker here...looks like anything within reach is fair game. There are some questionable photos near the dart area, so avoid that area if you are offended easily. The bathrooms were creepy & smelly...chalk that up to being old. Overall, OK, but not a place I would be found in regularly. read more

I have been a frequent of O'Sullivans for many years. Especially on St.Patricks Day. It's been a tradition ever since I can remember. Unfortunately and older bouncer took the law and racial epithets into his own hands. I was upset of people saving their table without being present at it as was other Caucasian guests and I was not even given a warning but was immediately kicked out. I wasn't angry but just disappointed in the aged bartender and the service of O'Sullivan's. I was doing laundry a few doors down from here at the creapy laundromat and was on the hunt for a bite of local flavor. I walked in and found a good old dive bar. Lack of veggieoptions made me go elsewere, but after scoping the area I came back. Nice people on both sides of the bar, union safe-haven, surprisingly good beer selection, cheap, and a fun ambience. Absolutely terrible establishment. Very dirty and the bathrooms smell like something went there to die. The bartenders are terribly rude, although good at their jobs. I used to frequent the place and had a great time, once I had drank enough. However there was an unfortunate incident where the bartender on duty was drunk during operating hours and he assaulted me for tossing a peanut. It's ridiculous, because after using me to open the door, the bartender threw me down to the ground (he carried my out of the bar for joking around with him) nearly smashing my head on the sidewalk. I could not lay on the right side of my hip for over a month and had severe abrasions, through my clothing. I attempted to resolve the issue amicably, however when I complained about the ill-treatment, and threatened to speak with the owners about the incident, they banned me for life from the place. After having made a big fuss about it, a female bartender contacted me to get my info and stated that the owner had promised that he would contact me to discuss the incidident. That was almost 6 months ago, so it's obvious that they do not care. I gave them every opportunity to make ammends, but they have made no attemp to relieve me of my ill-will towards them. Very sad, and I would recommend you stay out of the establishment. read more
