We have known this cinema as Paragon Wellington and even if you go today the signs will say so yet when we checked into yelp last week we realized Paragon Wellington had closed down yet we were watching a movie in the cinema only with a new name. The service and movie experience is the same with all recliner seats and the best thing that I love about this theater is that even in the first row your movie experience is the same as sitting in the middle and trying to get the best angles. With MoviePass limiting customers to 3 movies a month this is the theater that we go to and I really enjoy watching the movies sitting in a recliner sofa than trying to fidget around every few minutes in other theaters where the seats are so uncomfortable. Plus the advantage of going to this one is that you can get here early and enjoy a quick walk in the mall before you get to the movies. read more

I was a big fan of CMX until they started getting slick adding a $3.95 convenience fee on each ticket bought online. That's a douche move especially when you want to buy your kids or family tickets ahead of time. If anything they should be crediting the consumer a convenience fee as we're not using a box office sales person! I bought a 2 movie tickets online for me and my daughter to see Solo. The tickets on Tuesday are cheaper I only paid $6.42 per ticket, but since I reserved the seats online they charged me a $3 fee. I don't mind that. I wanted t get the seats reserved anyway. The problem I have with them is that I was charged $15.84, with the seat reservation fee and tax. But I had a family emergency and couldn't make it. They were kind enough to refund me part of the money. I only received $12.84 back. Where did the other $3 go?? They just stole that from me, and they should keep it because that is all this place is worth $3. read more

I'm giving them 3 1/2 stars. The theater looked to be clean when we were there in the late afternoon. It also appears that each of the theater have nice recliner seats which were comfortable overall. We went on a $5 dollar Tuesday - which is a great deal compared to regular prices here and at other theaters. This place (the CMX chain of theaters) appears to be trying to compete with the I-pic theater chain. They have a kitchen for food service with a limited menu, including beers and wine. However, unlike I-pic they they take your order at the concession counter and for a small fee of a dollar, they will deliver the food to your seat in about 20 minutes or so - which is not bad. Our food was okay - but of course that would depend on what you get. The hamburger was good as were the nachos. The food is a little pricey, but what isn't a bit pricey now-a-days. In order to be successful in the food department, CMX is going to have to continue to put out better and fresh food from the kitchen all the time. Food service should automatically be delivered to customers seats for free. read more

My favorite thing about this theater is that there's a cool bar and restaurant attached that allows you to take food and drinks into the theater. Bathrooms are always kinda gross. Staff is younger and pretty friendly. read more

i'm genuinely grossed out every time i go to this theater, kids in the back yelling constantly during the movie and bathrooms are GROSS. half of these 5/5 reviews are clearly fake to hide all the bad stuff about this theater, it reeks of feet and there are stains all over the carpets. i'm being so genuine when i say, this place is disgusting and NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!! i pray that you don't have a visit here. i will say that the quality of this theater was much better in the years past but has just plummeted since, i rest my case, thank you. read more

It's terrible. My wife and went to see Snake Eyes with our 13yo. Some teenagers kept sneaking in and out of theater and making noise. Audience kept shushing them. Staff came in a couple times due to complaints. Last 15 mins of movie they turn lights up and just left them on the whole time. When leaving we see the same kids run into another movie shouting at each other. On way out went to bathroom and two kids sneaking stuff around to each other, hiding from people. . Another guy standing inside vaping with friend. Just seedy. Police officer at the front watching everyone. Teenagers running around the theater walkways. Just ridiculous. Shame bc seats are comfortable. read more

Love this theater. High quality audio and picture, with power reclining chairs as the standard. The tickets are on par with what you'd expect from a lesser theater, but the quality of the theaters are far superior to what you'd come to expect from even a decent theater. If I want a quality experience I'll go out of way rather than go to closer competitors because CMX has always consistently been a very pleasant place to go to. Being in the Wellington mall keeps it flanked by a lot of nice shopping destinations as well as great restauraunts. read more

I never had an issue with this movie theater. In fact, all my experiences have been a delight! The seats are incredibly comfortable since you can adjust how laid back you want to be and the theater itself are usually very clean. I would say the downside to this theater is the prices for the food which to be quite frank.. is pretty relatable to pretty much all theaters food cost. Small popcorn was $6.50, Medium $7.00 and Large $8.00. They do however have a little station for the popcorn where you can add extra butter and flavor seasonings. I suggest going to this theater on Tuesday! They only charge $6 on Tuesdays at EVERY time! Overall, I'm pretty happy with this theater and will continue coming back. read more

Wife and I like it, we take our teenager here too with us, good service, luxury seats, everything is good, tickets are fairly priced also. No complaints! They also have beer on draft and small personal wine bottles for sale. read more

First time and never again! The first issue we experienced today, March 10, 2019, is that of the two seats we had selected (Theater 9, seats E 11 & 12), one recliner did not work at all. My husband went to find someone who could solve the issue, and returned with a young lady. She explained that someone must've unplugged it. But after spending several minutes trying to locate the plug, she left, telling me that I could take seat #13. Glad we were early. In approximately five minutes, she returned with a man carrying some tools. This gentleman asked the customer seated in chair #10 to get up, pulled up the seat cushion, and fiddled abit. Then, pulled up the cushion #11 and did the same, like he was following the wires, and then had my husband in seat #12 get up so he could pull up that seat cushion and do the same. The result? It didn't work and I was told I could remain in set #13. Great. Except ..... the family who had reserved seats 13, 14 and 15 arrived and were most upset to find one of their seats taken. We explained what had happened, and the man left to go complain or report the problem. Next, another theater employee returned with him (a different one, of course), who immediately asked for my ticket, which I produced and then instructed me to sit in seat #11. We explained the issues and how I had been reassigned seat #13. Didn't matter. He finally said he would give us 2 free tickets for being inconvenienced. OKAY? Not quite. Took a while to get over having gotten a seat that was less than I paid for, plus the rudeness from the final attendant as well as the attitude from the man whose seat was #13, where I was told to sit. Both my husband and I had to use the restroom.....only one located a long way from theater #9. They were filthy with trash cans overflowing, and toilet seats that weren't fastened to the commodes. Odd this issue would be in both the women's and men's facilities. We didn't bother with asking for our free tickets on the way out. The place is filthy and not well managed. It would not have mattered if we were offered 30 free tickets!. Next time, we will go back to the Regal 18 at Royal Palm Beach! read more

So I got into a situation with a large family over seating. We had to get the usher involved and even tho we were in the right we ended up wasting money on concessions, missing the movie I waited a week to see and just overall poor customer service. I get it. I work with the public too but when someone use all their energy to do something right and big brother company doesn't even care it's a problem. All in all I hope it doesn't happen to you. Be aware that when purchasing tickets online, they have the option for 3D and 3D recliner. They are two different things. I am not happy that it says 3D online but it is not actually in 3D. I talked to the manager and he was unwilling to honor the ticket and give us a later showtime. Very disappointed read more

My boyfriend and I decided to try out Paragon or CMX theater for the first time and won't be back. I paid for my tickets online and waited to show the ticket girl, she was so flustered she hardly looked at my tickets and others were just walking by without showing anything, why did I bother paying honestly? But the real issue is that we went to order concessions and after ordering we had to wait 5 min because our girl went into the back without saying a thing. When she came back she informed us that the hotdog we ordered was going to take time to cook and she'd bring it to our theater and asked to take a picture of my ticket with her phone so she could remember, so unprofessional!! We asked for a receipt and she walked away back into the back. We never received our receipt and never got our $5 hotdog. Absolutely ridiculous. We tried talking to the people left (our movie finished at 1am) but they were all messing around and said they couldn't help us. read more

Came here for the first time with my teenage boys. One wanted to watch Deadpool, the others Heredity, both rated R movies. I wanted to stay with my husband, but the usher and the manager followed us suspiciously as we searched for the theaters. Then, the manager asked if my boys were old enough to watch a rated R movie by themselves. When I said yes, she insisted that they have ID with them because an adult had to be sitting with them. Since they didn't have ID, I had to go get my ticket switched out and sit with them. Absolutely ridiculous! I bought 5 tickets to watch Rated R movies. read more
