I reached out to Chen on Yelp! because I was having problems unlocking my mailbox. He responded quickly, was very courteous, and provided an all-inclusive price up front. When he showed up to fix my lock, he first sprayed some WD-40 into the lock and tested it. He then said to me "Michael, I don't like to replace something that is working. Please try it and see if it is to your liking." Sure enough...that fixed the lock. To top it off, he didn't charge me for his time. Amazing service! They got here in the timeframe provided. Pretty pricey, I don't understand why it costs so much. They offer a "10%" discount if you leave a review, not just if you mention yelp. Also, you have to check in as well. It wasn't really 10% though, they just took off the service call charge of $15. Still ended up paying $208 for a single lock. The guy did not have the card reader either, so they had to call in my card number to run it, didn't really like that. The owner is a nice guy though and will go out his way to ensure customer satisfaction. read more

I got locked out of my apartment, gave these guys a call, he said he would be here in 20min, he called back notifying that there's a lot of traffic and he wouldn't get here for another 8 min. Which is ok, at least he called to inform. My locks are different, you can't just pick the lock, it's very difficult, he suggested to drill the lock and I said no, so he did his best and put in so much sweat into it for about 40mins and never gave up until he opened the door. I couldn't recommend these guys enough, very polite and committed and very affordable. read more

If I could give this company a zero I would! The locksmith broke into my house without my permission. No phone call or text to verify with me that my new pet sitter was allowed in my house and change my locks. Not only was this unethical behavior he didn't just let her in, he CHANGED my locks without my permission or knowledge. For some bizarre reason he made a deal with the new petsitter (charged her $375 cash without a detailed receipt) not to tell me, so I found out when I returned home at midnight, during the winter, by accident and with a lot of question asking and digging. We discovered our housesitter had locked the garage, for which we have no key! We had the typical situation, someone goes into a room with the key, lays it down gathers what they need, leaves the room and the key behind. The problem for us was this was an older model lock installed 20 years ago with no master. Chin and his partner gave it all they had before they announced it was a no go. Chin's advise on the next step and information on the lock saved us a lot of time. While he couldn't get in, they arrived on time and were extremely professional throughout the process. In the end he didn't even charge us for the try, but when we need work in the future we will definitely reach back out to him. read more

Chen O called his friend Homer to come over. Homer was courteous and friendly, came to my house in 20 minutes at 9:30, checked my ID to confirm I live in the house, tell me the price up front before he opens the door, check that I was really using the right key, and went over everything before entering my house. He picked the lock and open it for me probably under 5 minutes. Afterward he tried to fix my lock but it was bad so he helped me took off the handle and tape over it. I paid with my credit card and used an app to take my payment and show me the code and let me take a snapshot of the payment. Overall I am very satisfied with his rescue in the evening. He was the only one that could come out on Friday night in Shoreline, WA and I know because I sent a quote request to multiple locksmiths using Yelp. Homer was awesome!! read more

Update: After writing my review the owner of the company personally came down to my house and apologized for the misunderstanding. He took time out of his busy day to apologize and I really respect that from him. He made things right and took ownership of the issue. He is a stand up guy and I will continue to use this company in the future. These guys did do a great job. They were able to take my appointment within the same day. I called around 2:45 and they were able to see me at 5:45. Now, the reason why I did not give them 5 starts is how they quote. I spoke to a rep on the phone and I asked him how much it would cost for a re-key and for one key to work on three locks. I did not have to replace my locks as they were brand new. I just wanted one key to work on three locks. So no new lock was purchased. The rep on the phone said somewhere between $60-$80. Well, that was not the case. First thing when the guy came to replace the lock he said it would be $35 per lock and then it was going to cost another $70 on top of that for installation. The rep on the phone did not mention installation. I assumed the fee included it. Then the installer came to give me more of an actual quote. He gave me a price but forgot to include tax. They dont like to reveal the total cost. They want you to get a rep out to your house to give you a "free estimate" and the installer gives you another "free estimate" but be careful and ask ALL the questions. The work was great and he was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I am just saying be careful on the quotes. read more
