I suddenly couldn't turn my car key to start my car. I watched many YouTube videos to try many solutions, but none of those worked. I hired a car mechanic to take a look at it, and the car mechanic suggested me to find a locksmith who could repair or replace the ignition lock cylinder. I used Yelp to search locksmiths who could do vehicle ignition lock repair or replacement, and I sent them requests for estimates. George, the owner of Sevan, responded my requests quickly and gave me an estimate. His bid was reasonable among the bids I had received. Although I was trying to push him to come out right away, he couldn't due to other commitments. He did show up the next day. He first tried to repair to save my money, even though I already gave up on repairs and would rather just replace the whole thing. After some attempts, he informed that he would have to replace as it's not repairable. I asked if the total amount could still be within his original estimate, and he said yes. He worked quickly and properly to remove the old cylinder. He also made the keys on the spot. The final bill was indeed within his estimate. George was very attentive. He picked up the paper clips that I had dropped in my car after he finished the work. He also asked me if I would like to keep the old cylinder and the old key. This might be nothing to most people as most contractors I know would just throw those old things away without asking. I did have some experiences where the contractors threw away some old things that I wanted to keep, so I really appreciate that he asked. I would highly recommend Sevan if you are looking for a mobile locksmith or a garage door repair. George told me how much he would charge for replacing the garage door springs, which was much cheaper than what I had paid a while ago. I had to cool down a little bit after this incident before writing a review to be somewhat objective. I scheduled to have the driver and passenger side door locks rekeyed on my car. A tech showed up and quoted 390 each lock. I asked if there was a discount if I paid cash and he said 700 even. Paid the guy in cash and he said he would send me an electronic invoice (he texted me a link to a website that showed me my invoice that expired shortly after he sent it), no receipt. 3 months later the locks are in worse shape then before the guy worked on it. I called and Braden who answered the phone was immediately suspicious of my story and tried to poke holes in it. His defenses went up, so mine did. I had to call back to get his boss to look into it. Finally the same tech that fixed my car locks came out and he immediately started blaming me for the issue saying I shouldn't have used an old key (which I don't remember him saying). He had no record of this job: no invoice, no receipt, no log book, nothing. So I then ask for a receipt from the original work and he said it would've costed $390 total. I paid him 700 cash!!!!!! So to sum up, I was over charged, customer service was horrific and would definitely NOT recommend this company. read more

Understand this- if you need locksmith service and you don't want to get ripped off by a subcontractor for these losers to make a buck off of the referral just go to the dealership. They'll send someone out who will quote you $450 for a $29 part and then if you say no you get told that you're rude for not wanting to get ripped off. We hired them to do a rekey for our rental property. When we find that the lock failed on the second day, the owner is very quick to send out a second technician. It turns out the lock failed (not rekeying problem) and they replaced the lock with a minimum charge for the second visit. For both visits, the technicians arrived ahead of time and waited patiently. Recently lost our car keys. Have relied on Sevan for getting us a new working key and then later programming a backup key for us. Found George to be trustworthy. He was also up front about timing. Very much on time and reliable. The first time he wasn't able to arrive at the scheduled time due to circumstances beyond his control, but he informed us of the situation ahead of time and kept us updated.
