Purchased a bag and wallet for pick-up last week. The sales associate had me sign for my items and then they brought them out in a tiny bag. My purse was sticking half way out of the bag. I asked for a bigger bag. I kid you not, it took them 5-8 minutes to put my items in a larger bag. Why did it take that long to grab a paper bag? Once I got home, I opened the bag and saw a huge mark on my purse. $750 purse with a gigantic mark on it? Seriously? I had to call Coach, send the bag back and now I am waiting on an exchange. If I wanted the purse mailed I would have ordered it for delivery the first time. It was a huge inconvenience for me and I am still upset. I think the sales associates purposely gave me a damaged bag. I will not be returning. Disgusting behavior by the two sales reps. read more

My 13yo daughter made her first purchase at Coach on her bday with her own money at the Rosemont location. My daughter also wanted Monogram services which they did not offer but the nice young lady did refer us to the Oakbrook location or Michigan Ave. We chose Oakbrook and once we arrived the the saleswomen who greeted us was amazing but once she was made aware of what we needed, the "MASTER MONOGRAMER" chose to tell my daughter that bcuz she purchased at the outlet store her tag was not of quality to be monogrammed. I proceeded to ask was there a difference in quality sold at outlet stores and he proceeded to give me some bull about layers of leather. The beautiful saleswoman proceeded to educated me that some are able to be purchased and monogrammed at an additional cost. I also proceeded to suggest to the "MASTER MONOGRAMMER" that this information should be passed along company wide as obviously the outlet stores are unaware. He chose to down the integrity of the outlet stores as "they just don't listen" as well as telling my 13yo daughter that outlets are for more "affordable" pieces as though her purchase was not equally valued to be monogrammed. I did proceed to purchase a new tag and my daughter got what she wanted but I will never shop at this location again. This is def a customer service coaching opportunity as well as an opportunity for the company to make sure bridges are gapped where all employees are knowledgeable of processes or make equal products for all stores. Can't remember the "MASTER MONOGRAMMER's" name but he was the only African American man at the store with the bullring in his nose. My daughter was very excited about this purchase and I feel like he ruined her experience. He clearly felt he said something wrong as he apologized continuously before I left out the store but the damage was already done! read more

I have women in my life. Expensive women and that's the way it is. My Sister, My Daughter, even my Realator; all of them are expensive. I have witnessed women lining up in front of the Coach Store like they were giving away free money. The fact is; their products are well made. But bring your wallet; this is going to cost You. My initial experience was great...I went in before Christmas to buy a purse for my wife. The representative was great and throughly explained everything. When I finally made my decision on what style of purse I was sent to the back for it to be wrapped and pay. I made my payment which was nice and quick. I received my item in a wrapped gift box and bag. Come Christmas, my wife opens up her gift, when I asked if she likes the wallet that came with it she said there wasn't one. There was no wallet and no handbag strap. I'm so upset and will probably change my rating given my replacement experience. read more

In order to get the price adjustments you have to bring the receipt and the product back into the store. (Called corporate and the said the same)So mind you the purse was for my wife but what if you gave it to someone outside your home? Do you ask for it back so you can take it to get the price adjustment? Every other retailer will do it just from the receipt. The staff is wonderful here. Guest service is awesome. I have only bought a few items here in three years, and had the cleaning service done on my products. The staff is always smiling and warm when I walk in. I don't know if it is me, or just how Coach hires the best of the best. Abbey is the best here. Ask for her!!!!!! We visited this Coach today and upon entering the store weren't even greeted as opposed to the adult women that came in a little later that were greeted and given an in depth review of the store and it's operations as well as the special services that they offer. There was an older and younger woman working there and the younger woman was very accommodating when we needed assistance but the older woman simply ignored us. I found a bag that I really liked but opted not to purchase it because I'd rather not support an establishment that gives special treatment to only certain customers. Yes we're teenagers but customers nonetheless and should be treated the same as everyone else. read more

Very professional and helpful sales staff. I went in for two purposes. One, because this Chicago winter is reaping havoc on my purse and I needed some leather cleaner and moisturizer. Second, a zipper broke on my Coach cross body and I needed it repaired. They were out of stock on the leather cleaner but offered to ship it to me for free. I received a UPS ship confirmation within 48 hours that it was being delivered the next day. Nice. They also made my repair simple by taking care of the whole process. The shipment to Coach for the repair was all handled by the Oakbrook Coach store, in the store. read more

First and last time I will be shopping at this specific store. We walked in to look around eyeing something for my mom's birthday as a surprise. I let my mother walk around and look at items. She asked an older woman who works there how much a small wallet was and was rudely told "that one is not on sale it's regular priced". She didn't ask if it was on sale she asked the purchase price. If it wasn't for Michele we would have not purchased anything. Michele was very kind and helpful, we gave her notice of the rude attitude of the older woman. If you work at an establishment you shouldn't judge what a person can or cannot purchase by our looks may I remind you that you work for us. You're in customer service, we're the customers and your at our service. Hopefully something is done about this because from the looks of the reviews it's not the first time this happens. read more

I returned a pair of boots. The woman who was taking care of me was extremely rude. I was not offered any alternative until I asked. She was only offering a credit card refund. I went today for a shopping spree for my thirteen year olds first day as a teenager. I was promptly greeted and shown all of the options they had for a young woman's first Coach purse. Vicki was amazing and made us feel welcome and special. It's so hard to be in retail right now with Covid 19, but she was upbeat and so happy to be there. I went to the store about a month ago and bought some winter shoes. Madeline was the sales person. She was very professional and friendly. I told her my wife was trying to order a purse on line and they said it was out of stock. Madeline told me that if she couldn't find one that someone on the sales team could. I finished the sale and had to check with my wife if she found the purse she was looking for. I went back just before Christmas and spoke with Vicki. She began looking for the purse at another store. It took her some time but she did find it. Two days later I went back and picked it up for my wife for her Birthday. Not only did they find the purse my wife was looking for it was on sale. Recently took a Coach handbag to this store and clerk was rude.. it is a black and grey cloth bag and the cloth has separated at the top and bottom of the bag. I asked if it was possible to get a replacement (with $20 shipping fee) and she RUDELY told me it was too old (2011) and it could be sent in but she KNEW it wouldn't be replaced. Quite honestly I have a lot of Coach bags and have had one replaced in AZ for the same reason. I thought Coach stood behind the quality of their products and didn't know there was a timeline for replacement if there is a problem. read more

Two items were put on hold for us--an accessory and a purse. We were told that there was going to be an extra 20% off sale over the weekend and we could come back and buy both items then and receive the additional discount on both. Two different sales associates from the Oak Brook store called us to confirm that we were coming back to buy the items we put on hold. At no time during the phone calls did they make a point to clarify that accessories were not part of the sale when they knew that both items were put on hold specifically because we were told they were going to be an extra 20% off. When we came back during the sale and got home, we realized that the accessory had not been discounted. When we called to find out why, we were told that accessories were not included. But the two items were put on hold together as a set and both sales associates helping us said that we'd get the extra 20% discount on both. We feel that this was a bait and switch to get us back into the store. Had they clarified that accessories were not eligible for the extra 20% off in either confirmation call, we would have told them "forget it, we don't want the items" and saved ourselves a trip to the mall. Now we get to make an extra trip to the mall because I'm returning the entire the purchase. Be careful when dealing with this store. read more

The new store is absolutely beautiful. I went in about a week ago and purchased a handbag and wallet. Vicky is the sales representative that helped me. I always store my designer bags inside gift boxes and they even provided one for my wallet. Very nicely wrapped by the way. I really don't like giving such low reviews but if the shoe fits.... I went here yesterday to purchase a christmas gift for my wife. It was a violet accordian zip purse in crossgrain leather. They did not have it in the store so I had to order it. During the order, I went out of my way to give my personal email address to the sales girl so my wife would not know. She changed it in the system (so I thought) and then processed the order. As she was completing the order, she was rushing through the confirmation screens and I saw my wife's email address appear and before I could even utter the words "Wait!!!" she pressed enter and the emailed receipt went right to my wife. I didn't make a scene in the store. I didn't even get angry (It's Oakbrook, that type of thing would be uncooth.) I simply told the girl (Her name was Vicki, by the way) it's ok and even wished her a Merry Christmas. No sooner did I walk out of the store I get a call from my wife. (Who is in tears because she was so sad my gift was given away and no longer a surprise.) Here's the kicker. Aside from an "oops, my bad." I was never offered anything more. A gift card maybe? Partial refund? I don't know... A free little cheapy cheapy gift? Something!! But nope. Just a half handed apology, a boot in the rear end and that's it. Needless to say, unless the sky is falling, I will never enter this store again. For the love of Saint Peter.... Customer service at a high end store at a high end mall is certainly expected.
