Let me start by saying, "I adore SAS shoes". These are the only shoes that I have ever owned that I have to replace the inside before the outside looks bad. When I went inside 2 employees were very helpful in showing me my options, not just one choice of insoles but 3. Along with the insole I also purchased some new shoe laces so my 1 year old shoes look and feel good as new. I work 12 hour shifts and am on my feet all day, so shoes are extremely important to me. At $200 a pair, their shoes are not cheap, but they wear extremely well. This is money well spent!

I asked if maybe we could check out at a different register, they said no, I asked if we could maybe jump in front of this women, check out in 90 seconds and they could continue troubleshooting, they said no that wouldn't be fair. I do understand that sentiment, but we were the only other ones in the store... and it was just irritating that 3 of them were standing there so clueless with no answers... I mean what if it took another hour to figure out the gift card issue? Should they just close down the store and not check out any more customers until they figure it out? This woman gave me such a hard time, telling me I should exchange this for something else, they have so many new things, etc. I kept telling her no thank you, I'm not interested. So, she started to show me scarves and a purse that she thought would look great on me, again, I said no, thank you. This went on for like 10-15 minutes. Then finally, as she was processing my return, she said I have to give her my phone number, email and address in order to finalize the return. I said no, you don't need that information. Then she smirks at me and says, I'm sorry, but we won't be able to do the return then. Really? You need all of this information to make a return? I called another location (Oak Brook) and asked if the above "policy" about returns was valid. She said absolutely not. We only ask that if you want to be on our mailing list (for catalogs) and receive special offers through your email.

I was in dire need for an evening dress for a special occasion, with absolutely no time to shop. It was near closing time and I desperately called and asked what time they were closing, if I could make it in.....they quickly answered and said "come on in, we'll get some dresses ready for you, what size are you?" I was working out across the street and made it 10 min before close...it was the only opportunity to try on a dress. I showed up and these ladies had 8 dresses, with shawls, shoes and accessories waiting for me in the dressing room. Amazing service in such short notice. They never made me feel rushed and it was their mission to make me feel comfortable with what I was trying on. Such great service! I felt like a million bucks!

I always see at least one walking a customer around to help find something. For example, I was in the shoe section, and the employee (older lady) was extremely patient, helping a customer identify a pair of shoes for pickle ball. Cashiers here are super friendly and will provide you with a coupon if you forget yours (when coupons are active) .
