There's a new Coach outlet store at the fashion outlet mall in Rosemont. It actually looks a lot like the Coach outlet store that we in the exact same location. This store was closed for remodeling, and the only thing I can figure out is that they move some shelves around. It re-opened in November of 2024. False advertising to the max. This experience completely changed how I see Coach as a brand. Every platform clearly says the store closes at 9 PM. Google says 9 PM, Waze says 9 PM, Apple Maps says 9 PM, and even online listings say 9 PM. I arrived before closing and was told the store was closed. On top of that, an employee was literally standing in the doorway blocking customers from entering. The attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of explaining politely, they acted like customers were a problem. I am a paying customer, and blocking the door like some kind of bouncer is not how you treat people who support your business. Coach as a brand has seriously fallen off when it comes to customer experience. If the store closes earlier than what is posted everywhere online, update the hours. Don't advertise one thing and then treat customers like they're bothering you when they show up based on the hours you publish. How can you not visit Coach when you're shopping at the mall. Coach has actually just opened back up after spoke renovations. It's a beautiful store. There were so many different selections of purses. They had totes, bucket bags, shoulder bags you name it! And the best part about it is that everything was a great price. Quick to take your money but impossible to get it back. Placed a ship to home order at their store, but ordered the wrong size. I came back to the store 5 minutes after the transaction was completed and was told I had to call customer service even though they processed the order for me. I called customer service and they told me they were supposed to handle the cancellation because customer service isn't able to see the order right away. Now I have to wait for the item to arrive at my house, and I have to return to the store or a USPS. So many steps and such an inconvenience just because managers nowadays don't want to do more than they are required to do. Terrible customer service. read more

Foreigners and tourists admire this quintessential Luxury brand and tend to make large purchases so that they can bring them to their home countries. Hopefully they are distributed as gifts, instead of getting resold on eBay or on some other shopping sites. I own several Coach handbags and really don't need one at this time. However, I saw a pair of black calf hair slip-ons that stimulated my interest of owning them. They were running a promotion on a 50% off entire store, with 30% off on clearance items. Thus, this pair of black calf hair slip-one would cost me approximately $90. I think it's a bit out of my range. Yet if there was an amazing sales associate approaching to me while I was contemplating on them, I would have pulled the trigger. Did anyone come to me and ask me if I needed help? The answer was negative. I was surprised that there was no one hovering around customers and wanting to make some sales on this gorgeous Saturday. Come on, team. Absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced! They have a variety of selections to choose from but whenever I order and pay for something, a week later they say " oops we're actually out of that item". I've been waiting on my Christmas present for over 2 weeks and when I finally reached out to them they said "oops we're actually out of that item". They didn't try to email, call, or contact me in anyway. And their way of resolving the issue is a half hearted apology that does nothing. Called floor mgr and her excuse - item was returned from another store and was mis-priced so she will not honor marked down price. Asked if she was in my position as a customer, wouldn't you ask for the marked price? She says no. Give me a flat lie break. Requested for store mgr and he completely understood that it was "their" fault for mis-price and honored the marked down price and also honor the 50% off promo. Whoever that floor mgr is - shame on you for lying and providing one of the worse shopping experience with Coach. Amazing deals on Coach purses, clothing, and shoes. It's annoying to have to wait in line, but it just increases the anticipation. When you enter, they hand you a coupon for 50% off the already-low posted prices. (Low being relative of course, this is still Coach we're talking about!) And their selection is great-- it's not like other outlets, where they stock only the sad rejected products that don't zip or weren't cut right, that couldn't sell in the regular store. This is choice Coach material! I found my new favorite purse here. And while it was still of course expensive, I feel like the quality makes it worth it. You see people here buying literally thousands of dollars worth of accessories. Because you can get some damn good designer things for a nearly reasonable price!! Finally after leaving register and coming back after asking a million questions over a $99 dollars item for my song. I received a $25 e card , they manager couldn't figure out to apply it. My husband and I went to the store after mailing my favorite Coach bag to the Coach Repair Division. It's not like I need ANOTHER one to add to the collection, but it truly is silly how much we become attached to stupid objects. In case they couldn't repair my long discontinued, hard to find a replacement purse, hubby decided a new one would lift my spirits. We walked into the store and we were immediately warmly greeted by Ms. Doris. She asked a few important questions; what were we looking for in a bag such as size, heaviness, daily use, color, handles, etc... Then believe it or not, she lead us to the very bag she herself had on the list to buy for herself (and we believe her, too). It was a sophisticated bag in the retail section that had just arrived from the 600 N. Michigan Ave, Coach Store. They looked at to me to have a few minor dings, nothing terrible, and I later couldn't find them on the website or in the current line, but the style bag was GORGEOUS. A bit different than I had envisioned, but my husband fell in LOVE with it and was just enamoured beyond belief. Though I had pictured spending half that and buying a much smaller lighter purse that I had selected earlier on the outlet's website, I couldn't burst his bubble. Ms. Doris was wonderful. Not only was she able to help us, she assisted other customers- flawlessly switching to what I assume was Chinese, (I apologize if I am incorrect) and then turned to answer our questions. It was like a verbal Wimbledon and she was a champion. Plus, she ran all over looking for my Apple charm and another customer's purse (of course it required a "cherry picker" to reach the highest hook and Ms. Doris is petite). What a customer service professional! The funny thing was when I returned home, I looked on eBay and the purse Ms. Doris sold me on apparently is already being bought up across the country by those greedy eBay sellers. I paid around $225.00 plus tax, and it's popping up for TWICE that amount and get this; they actually admit that they bought it at a Coach Outlet so that people know they are receiving the "genuine article," (a Coach purse). I've been a Coach person since I was in my early 20's and I bought my first purse. That's over 35 years and since then I've bought a tremendous amount of gifts from both the Outlet, the website and the Retail Store. Ms. Doris is one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of working with and I will definitely look for her next time I go into the Rosemont Outlet Store. I also wanted to add that if Doris isn't there, everyone is great-especially Manager Mona. What a doll! So knowledgeable, well spoken and accommodating. Stopped by the store this time since I had to buy presents for different people and when I got there, it was a line outside. People wait as if you are going inside a club and there is someone at the door letting people in little by little. I do not see the point to that but oh well. Once inside we walked around the store and it took about 10 minutes for someone to offer their help. I almost walked out since I had a question and nobody to assist. The only expensive purses I buy are Longchamp. I got a Coach bag (from the Outlet) for Christmas that I liked but wanted a different color. The only Coach Outlet near me is in the Fashion Outlets mall in Rosemont so off I went. The people working here were friendly and available for assistance. I asked them how much I could get if I exchanged the purse for another and they showed me around to crossbody bags because that's what I said I liked most. A rep showed me a few items and I went with the crossbody large bag that I liked best. Checkout was easy and painless. The exchange was quick, I paid my $20 extra dollars, and was on my way. About 10 days later, a clasp on my new bag broke. I was disappointed to drive all the way out to this mall again but I wanted to get it fixed ASAP. Service was still as friendly as the first time I came in and they exchanged my purse immediately. Thankfully, I still had my receipt and they still had that bag in stock but they said since I had my original receipt emailed they would have been able to look me up that way. Out of all stores explored in this mall, I felt Coach met my expectation of what outlet malls should offer in discounted merchandise. The staff was amazing and always helpful. I was never pressured once to make a purchase. Looks can be deceiving, but walk around the store a couple times and you will find what you were looking for. When I first walked in, I was offered a 50% off coupon. Immediately I was skeptical. I thought once I started sticker shopping, I'd find full-priced items marked down 50% with my coupons. Not a bad sale, but that would have not impressed me. I started walking around, and I slowly discovered there were plenty of purse selections already marked down, and my coupon was 50% off on top of it! Another thing I have always hated about outlet malls: you're not shopping for off-season merchandise. You're sifting through outdated and over-handeled clothing in weird colors, barely discounted at 40% off. If you find anything trendy at all, it's almost full price at 20-30% off, in which case, I might as well pay the extra $10-$20 I'd be saving on the crappy discount, or gas in travel, or both, at a regular store location. My item would be in better condition. Here at Coach, there were all kinds of trendy selections, for every season, in all kinds of colors! I have to say, this was much better than the Kenosha outlet location. I had just purchased two purses, one online, and one at Coach in Old Orchard. The last thing I felt I needed was another purse. I did, however, find some pretty cool Coach tennis shoes. I am not the kind of girl you'll find in heels and I grew up as a tomboy. I had been looking for shoes I could wear with jeans: something a little dressy yet still comfortable enough to dance in. This pair of Coach shoes fit my expectation. At $55 I got a pretty good deal. I had already been to the Puma store browsing their selections. Their shoes were priced out at $80-$90 dollars (20-30% off original price, what is that?) and definitely of the same quality. Not to mention Puma's shoes were gaudy colors. Danny was a huge help! I was not finding the right size of shoes. The 6 was too small and the 7.5 was much too large. I almost walked away discouraged. Danny asked me if I needed any help, and I just thought I'd ask, expecting not to get a positive response. As luck would have it, my size 7 shoes were hiding in the back! Don't fall for their tricks! I stood in a line for half an hour outside Coach because of an on going sale. The sale was legitimately good. The problem was there were barely any people inside the store. Why make people wait outside in a long line when there are less than 15 people in the whole store? This would have been fine but they repeated the same thing at the cash line. The few people (including me) who did decide to buy a product had to wait 15-30 mins for the cashier, who spent majority of the time doodling customer information on store iPhones. Seems as if they are misleading people into believing they are very much in demand. read more

Wow, apparently the employees at this Coach Factory OUTLET forgot that they work at an OUTLET. Completely pretentious and snobby service - this shopping trip has convinced me to ditch Coach completely and switch to the 100's other brands out there. I find it hilarious that these sales girls seem to think (and maybe believe) they are better than their customers (who, in all likelihood make a LOT more money than these mall employees). There is one girl in particular that seems to have a resting b*tchface and has an uncontrollable eye-roll, so maybe she can get that fixed when she earns her big bonus for selling Chinese-made handbags. It is customer service like this that no wonder the Coach brand is doing so poorly! For those of you who were thinking about shopping here, just bypass this place and shop at Michael Kors or one of the department store outlets elsewhere in the mall. You'll get much better service. How did she become the store manager without even caring her company losing customer? So shamed! Too bad such a great company hired bunch of wrong people. No matter how good the deal is, we would like to be respected and be happy when we purchase your product. So many choices. There are many other stores there. They are willing to try harder to welcome the customer came back again. Poor service is the suicide of the company. I was trying to purchase a pair of woman's shoes at this Coach Outlet Store but they did not have the size. So I requested if I can do a found order, which I did in the past. One of the store manger whose name is Cynthia Garcia, refused my request and told me the size was sold out nationwide. However, I checked again with an associate and she was able to find these shoes in California. But the California store needs this store to call them to transfer the shoes. AND AGAIN, Cynthia refused to do transfer for me stating they do not do transfers which later I found out this is not true. I think my "hard to buy" experience is more personal rather than this lady's so called "store policy" since for all the stores I talked to, they are willing to do found orders or transfer orders, only this Coach location CAN NOT and really store policies should be the same nationwide! I was wondering what makes her/them such poor customer service attitude and arrogant since their sales are NOT good. I would not be surprised if their sales go further down if the team is led by such unprofessional and unhelpful manger to a regular customer like me. Called in advance for an item and I was told it was in stock. I made the sales person aware I was driving from a long way and wanted to be certain the accessory was in their store. She promised they had MANY in store...so many that there was no need to put it on hold. However, I get to the store and they do not have it.
