Perfect place for a beer. Relaxing and the service is great. I enjoy sitting and facing the desert. As the sun goes down, it's so cool. Check this place out. Enjoy some brews, take home a six-pack, and buy a shirt. Cheers!

Great beer and good service. Stand out is the oatiley mochaley, a 5.5% ABV oatmeal mocha stout. Sweetness that is balanced with coffee and dark toasty malt bitterness. A style of oatmeal stout not seen that often. Great stuff.

This is a really great brewery with a nice vibe. The bartender was friendly and they had live music. The beers: Desert Citrus Wheat Ale w/tangerines (great) Watermelon Blonde (excellent) Oat-A-Lay Way oatmeal stout on nitro (great) Peachy Queen peach berlinerweisse (great*)

Ok, this is definitely in the heart of the sandy, windy and hot desert, but it's still an oasis of good beer and good service. There's a "beer garden" out back where you don't have to order food and there's plenty of outdoor seating, but you're in the elements. Indoors, you have to order food and masks are required (as of April 2021) . The beer selection is great! Ranging from light to dark, with cans for sale and T-shirts. We liked the Joshua Tree IPA the best. Justin will serve you a flight of top notch brews and friendly conversation. If you're thirsty for that good ol' home town brewery, look no further and cheers!

Great selection of beers with a variety of styles for everyone's different tastes. Tables are socially distanced! Everyone is wearing a mask. There was a deal where you spend a certain amount of money to get a Coachella souvenir cup. It's great! I would definitely come back to try more of their beers if I am ever in the area. Would recommend if you want a chill place to hang out

I really like this place ! The people are bada** ! Having a fantastic conversation with one of the people who works here. Looks like there are other bicyclists here as well. Fantastic outside area to sit & enjoy. Inside has great air conditioning & great alternative music. They book many comedy shows here. Haven't gone yet but I can hardly wait to go !

    Lots of beers on tap

We came here looking for somewhere to watch the eagles game and had a blast! We are so glad we stumbled upon this place. Chad was great serving us all day, making sure our beers were full and telling us all about the variety of drinks/food. The menu is simple but food is delicious and lots of beers on tap! The restaurant had an outside and inside space and two TVs !!

We stumbled onto the Coachella Valley brewery and loved what we found. Service was awesome. Staff was polite and helpful and served with a smile. The Tangerine Dream IPA was delicious and could compete with the Colorado breweries we are used to.

Always a great experience. Open Mic Monday is my go-to: excellent beer and a free laugh every time. Good service, friendly ambiance.

Ask the Community - Coachella Valley Brewing

    Do you have steam beer?

Or otherwise known as a California Common beer. Nope. Don’t have one of those. Interestingly however, we have a Cold IPA right now which uses a similar fermentation technique.

    Is it kid friendly?

    Yep

Can we bring our own food?? Grub hub/doordash??? Thank you

Yep. Yep. Always welcome to bring or have delivered your own food.

Dogs allowed inside (per cute puppy pic), and there is A/C, correct? ~thirsty with puppies.

Yes and yes. We have water bowls if you need as well.

Do you fill other brand growlers? I have a personal one I use that has the surgeon general warning on it.

Yep, no prob. We have some label requirements we need to follow but we can take care of that at the taproom for you at no extra charge. Cheers!

Do they gluten free options or hard spirits or wine?

We are a Brewery so we only make and sell Beer. We can't officially say "gluten free" but due to our brewing process we can say "gluten almost free". Cheers!

The place was pretty busy with people there for the game. Inside tables was all utilized while patio seating was empty. Too hot to be outside even though the misters were on full blast. There wasn't a long line waiting to order drinks and food. We just wanted something to eat and drink while relaxing. It was nice to just watch everyone enjoying the trivia. We actually got seated right away as all the tables were taken. Someone happened to be leaving when we were there. The food situation, their birria ramen was what got me the first time I was here. So whenever we come for food, it's alway a must. Well this time, I don't know if the chef is the same or what but the broth was very salty. Ramen and meat was great but the broth was too over powering. Plus there was no avocado like prior...lol... Anyways, the carne asada fries are alway good which is a must try. Crinkle cut fries with all the topping. The steak was quite tasty and pretty meaty this time. We also had some of the Al pastor tacos which is alway nice. Street tacos that's alway perfect for taco Tuesday. Salsas are available which can be asked for. The food was nice besides the salty broth but we did enjoy our time here. It's a great place for the family as it's kids and pet friendly.

Being of German descent, I like beer lol and the restaurant I can say has a dizzying array of choices plus cocktails. I picked Stiegl Radler Grapefruit which was delicious. My food choice was the 3 plate Carnitas tacos. I will say they didn't taste bad but did not taste like any Carnitas I've ever had and being a native Californian I've eaten a lot and make them myself at home pretty often. The taste to me seemed more like something that would have been described as sweet-smokey Asian fusion. As I said they didn't taste bad, just not what I was expecting or that my palate was anticipating. Not something I would not care to order again. Also the rice and beans were an odd plating with a spoonful of whole beans topping a small pile of Spanish rice neither of which were very tasty. But they do have several choices for the protein, chicken, shrimp, beef etc. The wait staff were friendly and did their best with the group of around twenty I was with but several plates were served to the wrong people and we had to order our appetizer twice which wound up coming after our main course plates. By chance I have a lunch date/meeting tomorrow and the Yard House is where the person I'm meeting wanted to eat so I'll try another dish. The hamburgers look really good. And I like the general ambience of the room. It's obviously a modern building but inside you do get a hint of old world beer hall vibe. The prices are not cheap but relatively in line with California dining. And the prices are interesting in that some thing's cost more than you would expect and others less. I'll post a follow up after my meeting tomorrow if I have a better opinion because my first visit was not much off a 5 star rating.

I had originally called about 40 minutes beforehand, so I was very disappointed with the wait. When I asked the ladies at the front about my order, the manager, I believe, was very rude and unhelpful. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but the way I was treated made the experience even more frustrating. I hope management can work on both the order preparation time and customer service.
