Stopped in for lunch with the coworkers and we all ended up grabbing burgers. "When in Rome..." The burgers were all good, but that was the issue. They were... "good". The Bourbon burger that I had was a typical style burger but the onion straws could have used a bit more time to get them a little crispier. All three other burgers (Pittsburgh, cheeseburger, and bacon shroom) were all rated as good as well. Nothing was wrong but also nothing stood out. This would have left them with 3 stars, but the extra push was given for the fries. We all really enjoyed the fries plain, with BBQ sauce, with malt vinegar, and with ketchup. Add those fry recommendations to the good service we had and it bumped the rating up to a 4. We'll be happy to try it again and see some of the other menu options. read more

Hit or miss. I was served a rock hard burned hockey puck for a burger one time and another time got one that melted in your mouth. Also the hockey puck night was my birthday and I was told my dinner would be free. They reneged on that. Another time we were there late after a volleyball match. They closed at 9. At 8:35 several of us ordered a drink, bar closed. We also got stone cold fries that night. They did replace them. I don't know why I keep going back, we have very few choices in Calcutta though. The most recent time, last week, I ordered wings. Menu says 10 wings $15.50. Sign me up even though I thought that was a bit pricey. Check comes, they charged $19.00. I pointed it out and the waitress brings me back the menu and shows me that if you order only 5 wings the price is $9.50. Since I asked for half bbq and half dry rub ranch, that constitutes two 5 pc orders - $19.00. I'll tell you what it constitutes, highway robbery. Go to JP's. After hearing a few folks raving about this place and claiming it's the best burgers ever, we decided to try it. Greeted by a typical sports bar atmosphere with TVs abound and sports memorabilia on the walls. But that's the highlight of the visit. The first thing I noticed when walking in was the floor was filthy, as well as the rug at the door. Not just dirt, but pieces of napkin, and other pieces of trash. The hype of best burger was immediately questioned when I was told I could only order them well done. The beer selection is mediocre at best. The only "craft" selections is a sam adams seasonal, and a great lakes that the waitress didn't know what it was. I ordered that and received a Yuengling instead. Ordered the texas burger with fries. The fries had potential to be amazing, had they not come out completely saturated in grease. The burger was very average at best. Defiantly dry and overcooked, but somehow greasy. The only flavor was from the bbq sauce that they add to it. I understand there isn't many locally owned food choices in the area, and appreciate the effort but they need to try harder. The staff at Coaches make the experience memorable. Hunter, Elizabeth and Taylor are all amazing at their jobs. They are knowledgeable and helpful about menu items and pairings. Coaches is not a quiet place. And is a sports bar. That just adds to the fun. read more

Great sports bar spot for BIG eats and beer. The staff was phenomenal, the portions were huge! I had the steakhouse burger & it was great. Everything about the menu selections is large in their portion size, so don't come here if your counting calories! Good selection of beer and drinks. Sports themed, but not too loud. Definitely a "Guys" place to eat & drink. When I'm back out here again, I'll make sure to stop. read more

Good milkshakes, okay burgers. I ordered the salted caramel pretzel milkshake with the vanilla whiskey. Great combo! Also love their whipped cream. The burgers could use some work. The bacon shroom burger may have been missing the aioli as it was pretty bland and all burgers are well done. The spicy fire burger had more flavor but still wouldn't be my go-to for this establishment. I would visit again for the milkshakes but may get anything else but the burgers. read more

We have been here twice. The first time we sat on the bar side and it was a bit loud. The second time we sat in the other room on the right. Not quite as loud, we had a 30 minute conversation while waiting for service, which never came. We left and will probably not be back. read more

They had a question about the 3 wing flavors I ordered. Instead of giving me 5 Jamaican, 5 Honey Hot and 5 Ranch they decided to put all 15 wings in one containers for mix the sauces together. WTF was that choice about??? All in all... I will never go back to this place and would recommend the same to you. But from hair in my food months ago and cold food the time before that to todays pink chicken I can't fathom coming back which is sad because I love the atmosphere and the workers and Trivia night and we need something like this around. Just left Coaches because we waited 15+ minutes and no one approached our table. This was after they tried to seat 3 adults and 2 teenagers at a 4-top booth. We left due to a table seated after us being served drinks then the waitress back to get their order while we still waited for a server to even approach our table. There were 3 people standing around upfront so I don't see this as a staffing issue. We drove down the street, were seated and drink order placed in less time than we spent waiting at Coaches. My review currently stays at a 4 from my last review. While the service upon picking up my online order was improved, my burger was not as satisfying as my previous experiences. This time I ordered the Bacon Shroom Burger. I feel like it had too much of the herb aioli, so much that I couldn't taste much of the rest of the burger. Next time I will go light on the aioli for this particular burger or no aioli at all. The All American Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and the Southern Love Burger were all good though, no complaints. read more

Went for dinner and the atmosphere and service was great. We had fried pickle chips as an appetizer and they were ok. Lacked some flavor in the tempura batter. I had the bleu burger and fries. It was really good. You can tell the burgers are hand-formed and flat-top grilled, not pre-packaged. My fries were not seasoned. My date had the gyro burger and he said it was "ok" but didn't really taste like a gyro. Would give it another chance to try wings or pizza. They had a good menu. read more

BAD! Greasy fries, greasy burger. Wife & I both Had upset stomachs all night. Talked to 2 other couples who said the same thing. We went to another place & ordered the same thing, burger & fries. It was not greasy. When I looked at the paper under the fries, no grease. The hamburger bun was as it should be and it was possible to pick the burger up without it falling apart because it was not soggy with grease. Won't be back.
