This is a little small town diner with friendly staff, good food, and fair prices. We stopped in one afternoon on the weekend as the late breakfast crowd was heading out. There are about 8-10 tables in the first dining room and I think some more towards the back. We were greeted immediately and promptly brought back beverages. The menu is definitely extensive from such an unassuming place. It was a little chilly that day. So, I went with grilled cheese and tomato soup. The soup was hot, creamy, and slightly sweet. The grilled cheese was on thick Italian bread that was toasted perfectly. The outside had that satisfying crunch, but you don't break your teeth biting into it. My boyfriend ordered the hot sausage sandwich and it was huge. They broke it into essentially two sandwiches, each with two sausages, peppers, onions, chili, and mozzarella cheese. He enjoyed it. They have a few parking spots right out front and some more across the street and down the road. read more

I would recommend the steak and cheese omelet. The ribbon steak cooked with the onions and peppers very good choice for breakfast.

Stopped by on a weekday lunch to grab some food for the road. Ladies working here were super sweet, they gave us a to-go menu to let us know that next time we could call to order in ahead of time to avoid the wait, which we appreciated. After ordering, we changed our minds and decided to just dine in instead and waited around 20 minutes for all of our food to come out. We were absolutely blown away by the portion sizes! BUTTERFLY SHRIMP: Super crispy, really enjoyed them! Ordered sides french fries, mac n cheese, coleslaw as our sides. Fries were my favorite texture (crisp on the outside but soft on the inside, similar to Wingstop fries!), though they were a little light on the salt. The mac n cheese was alright, coleslaw was mediocre. WINGS: Fire. They're breaded and you can choose from a wide selection of flavors. The lemon pepper tasted like pretty generic seasoning you could get from a grocery store, but I really enjoyed the Thai flavor which is apparently their spiciest. It tasted like a slightly sweet buffalo sauce, but wasn't all too spicy. CHILI CHEESE DOG: Nothing special, but still yummy, and the bun came toasted for some extra crunch. CHICKEN QUESADILLA: Serving size is absolutely MONSTROUS, enough to easily fill up 2. You get to choose from taco, chicken, or steak as your choice of meat and add veggies (onions, mushrooms, bell peppers) for an extra 50 cents. Definitely add the veggies, it adds so much more volume to the quesadilla and lots of yummy textures too. Freshly made, the cheese was oozing and the quesadilla was hot, but the tortilla was a bit soggy. It slapped nonetheless, but we couldn't finish since the portion was so big, so we packed up more than half to-go. Reheat it in the air fryer and it slaps even more especially since the tortilla gets crispy, and it's literally unbeatable when you have the munchies. The total for all our food + a diet coke pre-tip was less than $35 -- pretty unbeatable for the amount of food we got. Huge servings, friendly staff, and yummy food! read more

Good breakfast food, service was great my coffee never got below 1/4 of a cup. It was kinda busy for 10 on a Wednesday but food came quick and everything was as expected. Steak and eggs wasn't on the menu but as Tupac said in his famous song you can't always get what you want. But ya get what you need. read more

Had never been, so we decided to give it a whirl verses fast food. Had liver & onions, mashed potatoes & green beans. Everything is made fresh so you do have to wait a few minutes, but this is the opportunity to put your phone in your pocket to have a conversation face to face. We observed the food coming out to other people & I was amazed at how good it looked, and the serving size!!!! Our waitress was so nice, and prompt! I noticed her interactions with the other patrons, and it felt like sitting in your own dining room with friends & family. Our food arrived, and OMG it was delicious!!!! This place is really really hidden. It almost didn't look open and we drove right by, I am definitely glad we turned around and went back cuz the food was freshly made and 100% legit. Last night we ordered a steak, Italian and pulled pork hoagie. The steak and pulled pork were good but the Italian was not. The Italian had salami, American cheese and huge thick slices of ham like you would eat during the holidays. I was not a fan of the thick ham and tomato slices on Italian were too thick. We also ordered French fries with gravy and fried mushrooms. The fried mushrooms were soggy and almost felt like they weren't cooked long enough. The French fries with gravy were okay. A true gem. From the outside you wouldn't imagine the delectable foods within. The food is homemade and portions large. The roast beef falls apart because it is so tender. The meatloaf tastes just like my mother madeI've heard the breakfast choices are wonderful. Pancake batter is made from scratch. I'm hoping to make more trips back while Im here from California. There are specials everyday. I'm hoping to get their infamous cabbage rolls before I return home. read more

Stopped in for breakfast as we were traveling north along Route 7. My husband had eggs, sausage, and potatoes with peppers and onions. I had a two-egg vegetable omelet that was huge! Asked for well done bacon and it was done perfectly. Good food, great prices, and fast friendly service. Can't ask for anything better. read more

The food was delicious. It took 40 minutes to get the food. Kitchen personnel were seen out side smoking after the waitress took my order. This could be why it took so long to get my food. I've also observed employees not washing their hands after handling money which sickens me. read more
