The only bright spot was the food. It came out fresh fast and hot. The problem was the service. The check was set down about half way through the meal. We come here quite often and it's always a good experience. But tonight wasn't the case. It was slow, the hostess even commented that it was slower than usual. We ordered and the food took forever. I looked around the restaurant and no one was eating. When our food finally arrived of course some of my order was missing, my Wife's Bacon wasn't cooked, and then she brings out Mac N Cheese and said "It's really hot be careful". I take a bite and it's cold :( After getting sick of waiting for a refill I just got up and went and asked for one. Then when the bill gets dropped off we asked for boxes.. 10 mins later, nope. Stopped here driving through this area. We have never eaten at this Bob Evans before and will never again. Waitress finally came to the table to get our drink order and we had to wait at least 15 minutes to get them. We are very understanding people if the restaurant is busy and they are trying, but this place was not busy at all. We arrived around 6:55 at the restaurant and did not get out of there until 8:15. Extremely slow services is an understatement. When we got to the register to pay the young man ask us how everything was and my mom said the eggs were raw and he said did you tell the waitress and we told him nobody came back to ask us how are food was and that was the end if that . We also said something about how extremely slow the service was and he said we only have one cook tonight. I said if I would have known that we would have gone somewhere else. He said he broke his arm and only had one arm so we need to give him a break. He said everyone had their bad days. I wanted to say are you for real. I would have been more understanding if they would have been more attentive in refilling our drinks or if they would have apologized for the time it was taken but they did nothing. We made the unfortunate decision to dine here on Labor Day weekend. We got here at 8:00 AM , so it was not yet busy. We waited forever to get our order taken and a customer seated after us was greeted first. The waitress took several tables orders at once. We finally got our drinks and they were in a small mug that looked like a kids drink. After another 10 minutes our food arrived as well as the patron seated beside us. I had ordered the banana berry farmers choice and my husband ordered the farmers choice breakfast. The bacon was limp and greasy. We had requested extra crisp bacon and hash browns. The hash browns were crisp, but had no seasoning. The pancakes were the saving grace. There was a ton of sweet blueberries in them and they were soft and delicious! In addition, the waitress brought butter and extra syrup. I went to the restroom while waiting for the check. It was clean but had no paper towels ! Our total for 2 was $27.00, but it took forever to get it . The restaurant was very crowded when we left and minimal social distancing was going on in the lobby !! (Covid 19) read more

Terrible experience. Ordered catering from this location for a big lunch meeting I had. Placed order 24 hours in advanced and received confirmation. Called restaurant 2 hours prior to pick up to reconfirm they received my order and was assured by staff that it would be ready by selected pick up time. When I arrived at the restaurant the manager told me "they hadn't received my order" and it would be a "few minutes" before it was ready. Ended up waiting 25 minutes LONGER than when my order was supposed to be ready. Almost arrived late to my meeting due to restaurants delay only to find out that they shorted me 4 sandwiches. Ordered two burgers and a salad this evening. All three meals had special requests like no onions, no tomato, etc. very request we made was fulfilled and the food was delicious!! We also ordered a family size potato soup and 6 dinner rolls. The soup was great but the dinner rolls were absolutely amazing! Will definitely order again from here! read more

On Sunday, December 20th, 2019, my family and I dined at the East Liverpool location. Upon arrival at 12:20, the restaurant was in a chaotic state. No one was at the hostess station to check guests in, thus, the foyer of the restaurant was quite unwelcoming and crowded. In fact, I ended up having to write my name on the list for tables and write the name of the guest who was behind me because no one showed up at the hostess booth. This clearly shows on the surveillance footage. The girl who was checking out people was rude, in fact, the comment was overheard that they could "run out of silverware". Eventually, someone paid by Bob Evans did assume the hostess podium, and got people seated. My party did eventually get seated, at a table that lacked cleanliness. We used my two year old son's baby wipes to wipe down the sticky table surface. My son's placement got soaked by the backwater from the "attempt" to clean the table, and we had to have it discarded. To top it all off, my pregnant wife noticed a foul odor at her end of the table, and we had to switch seats due to it. In her words, not mine, "the bathroom was cleaner than our table." I also noticed a stinkbug on the wall, which I did document photographically. No apologies were made for the long wait, nor did the staff show any sign of "hustle" or attempt to provide quality service. Food is based on stuff available on the old farm. Chicken, steak, eggs, biscuits and gravy but also offer healthier options. Their menu change has been mostly positive and really focusing on fresh. Since I moved to beaver county I have been to this bob Evans 5 times. Each time it takes around 10 minutes for wait staff to come take a drink order. When you order a entree that includes unlimited bread and you ask for a mix, I.E. Biscuit, rolls, and fruit bread you are lucky if you get 2 pieces of bread. Then the wait staff wants to complain how the last customers they had left a dollar tip on a $50 food order. I usually get a pot roast dinner or breakfast. Sadly when you get the bacon, cardboard would have more flavor. Don't know what they do with the eggs but never had eggs that didn't have any flavor salt and pepper couldn't help!! read more
