My $17.00 shrimp tacos left didn't look like the picture in the menu. It consisted of 2 tacos (3 shrimp each) about 16 kernels of corn and that was it. No crunchy green and pretty

Smokehouse sampler - cornbread, brisket, pulled pork, and the real star - Uncle John's wings with mac and cheese

Put me in coach...I'm ready to eat...today That's not quite how the lyrics go off that beloved 80s tune but you should put yourself in Coach's and eat today. The menu is huge with BBQ, wings, burgers, and other sports bar food. There are TVs everywhere as they have the bar and dining room separate. For my entree, I picked the Smokehouse Sampler. The sampler comes with Brisket, pulled pork, cornbread, and the real MVP, the Uncle John's or Jim's wings. In fact, if I ever eat at Coach's again, I'm ordering just the wings. They are grilled and have a special marinade to them. They also go well with all the BBQ sauces. There are 3 BBQ sauces you can ask for. The Coach's was my favorite as it is mildly sweet and smoky. The Honey BBQ is more thin and sweeter than the Coach's. Then the Carolina is a thick mustard BBQ sauce. I did have to pay extra for sauce though. One 4oz container comes with the platter. The pulled pork was juicy and tender. It was all right. The brisket was Sliced and more of the lean variety and it was all right too. Neither are as good as the wings though. I added mac and cheese as an entree. The mac and cheese are made with elbow macaroni and a layer of cheese. It was all right too. Overall, I like Coach's and would go back especially for the wings. Everything else was all right.

I set at the bar with a few friends and we were greeted right away with a smile. I ordered a regular Bloody Mary (not spicy) and they had a special menu that I ordered the loaded tots from. The tots were great and the pulled pork had excellent flavor. They have several tv's and had different games going which was a plus for my friends. Great ambiance for happy hour or watching the game.

Love having burgers and a brew on a lazy Sunday afternoon, watching the Bears or Packers . And Saturday the Michigan game . They have a smoked sample plater that is killer . One of my favorites is called the Lancer. We enjoy the Bar seating , everyone is friendly and the wait staff is outstanding .

Had to dig to find pulled pork..and only one onion ring! They have lost their touch used to be a great place now I guess better off going to BK FOR BURGER

Great food especially dining in. Got carry out 1st time and they are cheap on the sides( onion tings/ fries) .you get way better from neon grill or Mr. goodies.

This is the John Wooden, I recommend it. On the side is Side Regular Fries those are very good. It also comes with ranch.

I love going to Coach's, I always get the John wooden with some delicious fries, if you never been to Coach"s you have to go try it. I promise it won't disappoint. The seats are very comfortable and nice.

The quality of the food wasn't the best. The pulled pork nachos were wet and definitely overcooked.

Meh. Their pork nachos are the only decent thing on the menu. Everything else is so and so, but the prices are a bit ridiculous

We're from the Grand Rapids area, so it was a bit of a trek being about an hour and a half away. GR has plenty of karaoke options in the surrounding area and a ton of breweries - none that I'm aware of mix the two, nor have anything as unique as this. Seeing as it was our first time here, we didn't know what to expect. It was pretty packed, actually pretty hard to find seating. Thankfully, we were eventually able to get a spot near the stage. One thing to note is that they don't serve food; however there's usually a food truck onsite, so that's nice, if you happen to like the type of food on that particular day. The place was pretty packed, of course it was a Saturday, so wasn't a big surprise. Unfortunately, a few of the adult beverages were unavailable, apparently due to the 10-year anniversary the day before. I first tried the dark bodega Mexican lager, it was good, but not really what I was in the mood for. So, I decided to try something a little different, I'm glad I did. I went with the peanut butter & jelly ale, wow, I was really impressed! I ended up sticking to the PB&J's for the rest of the night. A couple of others in my party, who normally don't like ales, tried the PB&j and thought it was great. All in all, it was a great experience. The karaoke was a blast, some absolutely incredible singers. And I've never seen a crowd so engaged, the place was full of energy, so I'm sure that added to the overall positive experience. If Watermark wasn't so far away, it would definitely be a regular visit for us. We missed the last crowd elimination karaoke event in June, but are planning to make a return trip for the next one in July!

Sometimes you know you're in the right place before you even sit down…read more The smell that hit us when we walked into Lake Street Eats immediately made us look at each other and say, "Yep... we're eating here." It was our first visit, and the bartender quickly welcomed us, asked how we were enjoying the Bridgman area, and made us feel right at home. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed being there, joking with what seemed like several regulars seated around the bar. That kind of atmosphere is hard to fake. We started with the cheese curds, and I have one request for the owners: please bottle whatever dipping sauce comes with them. The portion was generous, and I'd give the cheese curds a solid 9/10 on the stretch meter, which I consider an important scientific measurement. We paired them with a local IPA and a Modelo while taking in the relaxed neighborhood vibe. Between the friendly staff, local décor, full bar, and laid-back atmosphere, it felt like one of those places where locals become regulars. The only minor downside was that it was pretty warm inside during our visit, but it was also a warm day outside, so it didn't take away from the experience. Next time we're in Bridgman, we'll be aiming for one of the outdoor tables. We'll definitely be back--and probably ordering those cheese curds again.

We weren't greeted warmly, which normally wouldn't matter if the service and food made up for it. It didn't. After waiting quite a while just to get started, I even asked my sister if she wanted to leave. She said, "Not yet." After waiting even longer, I asked again, and she replied, "We're in too deep now." When our food finally arrived, my sister's meal had to be sent back. As the waitress walked away with it, I accidentally spilled what was left of my lemonade. The spill wasn't acknowledged by our waitress, and she never asked if I'd like another drink. Thankfully, another employee eventually helped clean up the mess and brought me a fresh lemonade. My sister's corrected meal sat ready for more than 10 minutes after we heard the kitchen bell before anyone brought it to our table. Because of the poor service, I left no tip and wrote "0.00" on the receipt. The waitress had also taken my credit card to the back to process the payment instead of running it where I could see it. Later, I realized my credit card was missing. I immediately called the restaurant and was told it wasn't there. I locked the card, and the following day multiple attempted charges were made on it. While I can't say for certain what happened, the timing was extremely concerning and left me with serious doubts about how my card was handled. I rarely leave negative reviews, but between the poor service, long waits, lack of attention, and what happened with my credit card afterward, I cannot recommend this restaurant or it's choice of Friday night live entertainment.
