Best burger! Friendly service! All the fried foods: poppers, onion rings, mushrooms and fries. Had our teenagers with us for lunch. 21+ after 8pm.

Awesome place. Burgers are great and on Thursday nights it would be hard to find a better prime rib dinner for a great price

I'm in the process of moving (not even out of the city) and my best friend decided to help me out…read moreso we needed food.  We ordered Grand Crossing burgers to eat while we packed because they sell Roxy burgers which are the best around.  If you never got the chance to eat at Roxys when they were open (or if you did and miss them oh so very much) I'd heard this was the place to gobble one up. My husband got the triple cheeseburger, no pickle, no onion, add bacon.  My bestie and I both got double burgers (hers without pickles).  I was disappointed they didn't ask how we liked rhem cooked they they lost likely would have had we sat in the restaurant.  The burgers all came somewhere around medium well which was fine for me and my best friend but my husband is more of a well done guy.  For 2 double cheeseburgers and a triple cheeseburger add bacon it was $23 which is not bad at all considering each patty is a third of a pound.  My husband, who picked up the food, said it was super heavy (lol). The burgers are delicious, not exactly how I remember the Roxy burgers but pretty darn close.  It oddly reminded me of meatloaf.  My husband eats burgers a lot and we have tried most (if not all) burger places in the area to find our favorites.  Grand Crossing is definitely top 3 for me.  I have yet to expierence the staff or restaurant itself but the food is on point.  I will continue to come here for a delicious burger that takes me down memory lane.  Next time I'll have to sit down.

The food here is amazing. Definitely qualifies as a dive bar, but worth the visit. Don't come if…read moreyou're expecting an upscale experience.

We did a flight of reds along with a Caramel Apple cider. We also ordered their whitefish dip (GF). She was so nice she bought my wife crackers and veggies since she's GF and a basket of regular crackers for me. The wines were very good as was the cider. We loved Third Times a Charm which was a red blend. We bought a bottle even tho it was pricey..39.00. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as live entertainment and food specials on certain nights of the week. Check their website for more details. Whether your a wine enthusiast or just looking for a fun time, Vineyard 2121 is definitely worth a visit...voted Best Local Winery year after year.

A new to us winery in the Coloma/Patton Harbor area…read more The space itself is gorgeous. It's overlooking hills and vineyards, it has a massive patio. There's also plenty of indoor seating if the weather takes a turn. The wine was good. It did not stand out above other places places I've been to in the area, but I would definitely drink it again. My biggest complaint would've been that they had music playing on the speakers that was so loud we could hardly hear ourselves, even though we were sitting the furthest away from it. They were having a band coming in later, which is a great idea. But if it's not live music, why on earth would you have the music so loud. I hope that it is quieter next time we visit (which we will do again). Not really the atmosphere to sample wind in. I also wish the staff was a little more helpful at wines. No wineries is good at everything, so I like to ask what they do best or what they recommend. The person pouring just responded that everything was great, which isn't super helpful. Nonetheless we really did enjoy our visit. I would definitely go again, and if you are visiting wineries in the area, you should definitely stop by..

Swells A Dive Bar - Detroit style pizza

"A perfect pit stop for pizza, pours, and ridiculous good times"…read more If you're the kind of person who likes pizza so big it threatens to spill over your lap, beer cold enough to make a snowman jealous, and a bar atmosphere that's "rustic chic" -- otherwise known as "dive-bar with a soul" -- then Swells is your joint. Walk in and you're instantly hit with: a dozen TVs showing whatever game, a neon sign letting you know you're not in Kansas (or Chicago), and the unmistakable aroma of something cheesy, savory, and probably sinful. I went for the Detroit-style pizza and wasn't disappointed -- each square slice was like a little piece of heaven on a cardboard platform. The bartenders? Friendly as a farm dog when you show up with the cooler tucked in back of your pickup. Drinks flow quick, conversations are easy, and before you know it you've swapped a few tall tales with locals who've probably been coming in since the 80s (and loving the same 80s-era jukebox hits). The vibe's cozy, no pretense -- just good grub + good company. Yes, the parking lot's about as roomy as a Lincoln continental in a compact-car slot, but that's half the charm -- if everyone else's SUVs are packed in tight, it must mean you found the right place. Bottom line: if you're cruising US-12, or in the mood for cheap drinks, honest food, and a laugh or two -- Swells is the kind of place where you leave with a full belly, a warm buzz, and a grin. I'll definitely be back (and likely announcing it loud enough for the bartender to overhear it over the next game).
