This restaurant decided to offer one meal on Thanksgiving, and put zero effort into it. They should have actually advertised (or stated on menu) "Turkey Roll". Not only did it look disgusting but it tasted (yes I actually tasted a 1" square of it) like a salt soaked piece of, churned fake meat." The meal consisted of a choice of vegetable (few options), mashed potatoes, gravy and dressing and cranberry sauce. The dressing and potatoes were so thin they were best eaten with a spoon, certainly wouldn't stay on a fork. The potatoes contained some other type of fake meat which may have been a fake bacon, and were still flavor less. The 1 tablespoon of canned cranberry sauce was served in a bowl of its own (why bother?), and stirred to hide the fact that it was canned. It actually tasted like the can. I managed to eat the soupy potatoes and dressing and left. Did I complain on the spot, no! There was no reason to complain. This wasn't a kitchen error that could be corrected. They knew what they were serving. This isn't my first attempt at eating there. I wasn't impressed before and this Thanksgiving dinner changed my mind about ever patronizing the restaurant again. read more

Delicious salmon topping a wonderful salad of greens, excellent breakfast garden omelette made just as we requested (they do breakfast all day), pork chops, and steak tips--all were tremendous. The rack of ribs was huge, meat fell off the bone. The only suggestion I would make is that the ribs be cooked in the BBQ sauce rather than being cooked with the barbecue sauce then being ladled on top. Excellent peach apple cobbler a la mode! This is a small unassuming place in a strip mall that you really have to be looking for. We started to walk in and they asked how many in our party and asked us to stand outside while they got our table cleaned and ready for us. You are required to wear a mask when walking around the restaurant. All employees wore masks. Once the table was ready they seated us and brought us menus, water and asked if we wanted any other beverages. The waitress asked if we had any questions and she was very friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast all day and also have quite a few choices for lunch and dinner. I got the Sante Fe Omelette which comes with vegetables and hot peppers and blended cheeses. There are potato's on the side and toast. This omelette was delicious and very cheesy! My friend got a Rueben Sandwich and it came with the choice of French Fries, coleslaw or cottage cheese. He loved his sandwich and said it was a 5-star sandwich!! The food came out so quickly it was hard to believe, but it was very tasty and the total bill was $20 for 2 meals- very reasonable. The inside was clean and comfortable. I noticed a lot of carry-outs making their way out of the place, so I figured that was a good sign. Bathrooms are single stall and decently clean. I believe the owner was our waitress and she was fabulous. Friendly and attentive! Simple but effective menu. Love that breakfast is served all day and good options for lunch/dinner. The prices are also affordable. I went breakfast and my husband went lunch. I got the french toast and bacon. Big portions of the french toast and good flavor. The bacon was cooked how I wanted - slightly crispy. My husband got the tomato basil soup and it tasted fresh and homemade - tons of flavor, especially the basil. The chicken Caesar salad was great - good amount of dressing, chicken was cut nicely and hot, and big portion. Everything came out pippin' hot! Just an update from last year!!! Only gotten better. Why would u eat anywhere else. Husband and wife team. He cooks, she serves. Feeling like ur a guest in their home. She's in top of everything. You can adjust ur meal to suit ur taste. The hubby's cooking, impeccable. Taste, presentation...entree salads, omelets, pasta, sandwiches, a huge choice for such a quaint cafe. Came into Crimson Café on Tuesday April 16th at 6pm and our waitress was Hannah.  I was so excited to see a Café open after he got off work.  We were coming back from grocery shopping and we had to stop.  My husband and I were seated quickly with a smile.  The waitress asked if we wanted anything and suggested strawberry lemonade. Both my husband and I went with the cheddar burger, he added bacon and removed all veggies while I didn't add bacon and only removed the tomatoes.  The husband wanted fries as his side while I went with coleslaw. We both also got the strawberry lemonade which came with sliced strawberries.  The staff was super friendly, freely talking and conversing with regulars.  (I hadn't even gotten my food at the point of writting this yet I feel at home and like I found a place I would want to come to regularly.)  So I sit at my table praying the food is amazing so I can enjoy the atmosphere of this grest little place. The lemonade, as my husband put it, was fire.  It was like a field of strawberries were crammed into my glass.  The burger was fantastic, super juicey and the cheese was gooey just the way I like it. We did order dessert, the cookie bite delight.  Maybe it was the other flavors floating around my mouth but it was kinda meh.  It wouldn't stop me from coming back but I will definitely order a different dessert or forgo dessert altogether next time. read more

The owner served us, and her husband cooked. We started with the potato ham soup, YUM! I had a chicken wrap with the most delicious onion rings and my husband had a mushroom swiss burger with fries, both were very good. It's in a strip mall, but don't let that dissuade you. The husband/wife did the whole menu (our first time there...we don't know their names... just traveling through). The wife was serving and the husband was cooking. The meal for both my wife and me - The lentil soup was better than my German grandmother's. The salad was fresh. The grilled buffalo chicken wrap was savory and well seasoned. The chorizo burrito was amazing. (I asked if they made their own chorizo, they don't, but they tasted a bunch to find the perfect one). The burrito came with potatoes that were perfectly seasoned...the kicker was a pinch of rosemary. I overheard a family at an adjacent table talking about the nights that the cafe has pot pies. This woman comes to the cafe early on those days before they may run out. The owner was talking about her teenage daughters and how they built up a cupcake business on their own. The blonde lady, who appears to run the place, served us and was so rude that I couldn't even look at the menu before knowing we needed to leave, and soon. Her high pitched voice, mixed with rushing around, and incessant one statement of "no, we do not" to the simplest questions, was a very good indication that she had better things to do that day than worry about pesky customers that morning. When she brought us the check (for just coffee cuz we were not staying!) she actually hit her hip on the edge of the counter in her rush to get away to the next thing. Whatever.
