    Potato & bacon soup.

We popped in here on a Saturday to catch a (UofM) basketball game and some food and drink. Awesome bar & grill with local vibe, and plenty of TV's. The interior is rustic, in a good way, and service was super friendly as if we'd been coming here for years. The menu had a good selection, making it almost difficult to choose but all of the food we ordered was excellent! Will certainly be back, need to try a burger after seeing them come out of the kitchen haha

Wife and I live close to the sand bar . We stopped going thier several years ago when scoop burgers stopped with the new owner. But in the last few months this is our goto bar for burgers and beer . You can't beat thier prices or service . I love thier blue burgers and thier skinny fries are so good . Ambiance makes you feel at home . And the place gets hoping durring the football games . I am so glad we came back . With going out to eat being so expensive any more this is a budget friendly place with great food.

    Cowboy Burger with Onion Rings

Cowboy Burger (3/5): Pretty good burger, I just didn't like the flavor of the A1 sauce (my fault for not reading the menu carefully). The patty was thick and juicy, and the bacon was nicely crusted with black pepper. The bun was pretty good, but nothing too special. Jalapeno Poppers (2/5): The fried exterior was great (crunchy and textured), but the inside was very disappointing. There was barely any jalapeno flavor, zero spice, and it was strangely wet inside. Onion Rings (2/5): The inside of the onion ring was very wet and mushy. It was almost like a sauteed onion that was then battered and fried. The fried part was also less crunchy than I like. The sauce tasted like a blend of tartar sauce and thousand island... Not for me. RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

Their "smashburger" is not smashed. I complained, and the server laughed at me. I left without paying.

    How good are the cheeseburgers?

They're ok, nothing to write home about, but decent.

Sometimes you know you're in the right place before you even sit down…read more The smell that hit us when we walked into Lake Street Eats immediately made us look at each other and say, "Yep... we're eating here." It was our first visit, and the bartender quickly welcomed us, asked how we were enjoying the Bridgman area, and made us feel right at home. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed being there, joking with what seemed like several regulars seated around the bar. That kind of atmosphere is hard to fake. We started with the cheese curds, and I have one request for the owners: please bottle whatever dipping sauce comes with them. The portion was generous, and I'd give the cheese curds a solid 9/10 on the stretch meter, which I consider an important scientific measurement. We paired them with a local IPA and a Modelo while taking in the relaxed neighborhood vibe. Between the friendly staff, local décor, full bar, and laid-back atmosphere, it felt like one of those places where locals become regulars. The only minor downside was that it was pretty warm inside during our visit, but it was also a warm day outside, so it didn't take away from the experience. Next time we're in Bridgman, we'll be aiming for one of the outdoor tables. We'll definitely be back--and probably ordering those cheese curds again.

This place gives an option for everyone, and yet everyone at the table will want a bite. Great job LSE. Please teach your servers the difference between giardiniera and au jus though. Dude seemed confused, or trying to play me. Had I been charged for it, I may have complained, but my Italian beef sandwich was delicious nonetheless!

The typical parking lot was fenced off so we had to utilize the street parking nearby. We were told to choose a seat and they'd be right with us. They only opened at 11am, at by the time we got there around 12:30 it was starting to fill up a bit already. My husband got the "in a van down by the river" cocktail, which I tasted, and we both agreed was delicious. For our appetizer, which we had never ordered one before from this establishment, we got the Wisconsin cheese curds. The sauce it came with reminds me of a good sauce for onion rings and was just as amazing on the cheese curds (it was called Sunny ranch I believe). We both got our usual entrees, my husband ordered a double smash burger and I got the atomic punk sandwich, both of which came with fries. My husband devoured his food, while my anxiety basically required me to wait until we got home to eat. I would definitely recommend stopping by The Brick House and grabbing a bite to eat. They have never disappointed us or the people we've sent their way.
