They have gone downhill.. went there for the famous beef wrap and was not famous at all... beef had no flavor, the aujou was all grease...$15 was overpriced for this... then they put it on a panini press for looks.. anybody ever tell them it dries it out.....The server smelled like cigarettes which was disappointing.... Don't like to insult people but this is a food business .... Their pizza flatbreads are very good and the pizza sauce is still very good with their homemade cheese sticks.....that's it....

My always gf raves about the mozzarella sticks bc she grew up in Elk Grove and would get them all the time. So we have ordered them quite a bit and they are delicious. That is what drew us to go and try more foods. With that said we were so excited but got shot down off that high horse. We tried the Italian trio: only thing I ate was the beef. The meatball and sausage texture was horrible and I couldn't take another bite. Did not care for their gravy. Also saw that everyone ordered the pizza so we got one also. Presentation was great but flavor was lacking. So bland. And again the sauce they use on their pizza I did not care for. Too sweet. I guess it depends on which part of Italy for are from bc I do not like sweet gravy. Best past about the experience was the cheese curds and cheese fries, basic. Great place to go watch sports and have a beer.

The best Italian beef I had. Garlic bread, wet with mozzarella cheese, and hot peppers.

This place rocks! The bartender is outstanding with amazing personality. I sat next to the ex owner who is a great guy to talk to then I met his ex-wife who owns the place her name us Sue. She was also very nice. I love this place. I gotta go back.

    "Jumbo" wings

Date: 17-May-2024 Time: Lunch Total (before tip): $18.86 Payment type: card Server: unknown, appeared to be a manager/Brent Grade: D- So I was in the mood for some wings for lunch and I saw that this place had jumbo wings, so I decided to check the joint out... and oh boy, I should have stayed away... As I entered, I was directed by, what I assume to be, a manager to sit anywhere, kind of weird not to have a hostess, but okay. I sat down and began to wait and wait and wait and wait for a server... Took a good 10 minutes for someone (the guy that looked like a manager, I will refer to him as a manager from this point on) to come over, give me a menu and take my drink order. I ordered water and looked over the menu, just in case something other than wings popped out, but I decided to stick to their jumbo wings. As the manager brought me water, I mentioned to him that I was ready to order, I asked him about which sauce(bbq or honey bbq) is better, he made his recommendation (which was just bbq) and off I placed my order. I must admit the wings came out fairly quick and they were clearly hot, made to order, but that's about where the good stuff ends... The wings were not that great, the sauce was average at best and the wings were not jumbo at all, looked average size, frozen out of the bag, kind, sort the size of what the big chain would have... Definitely not likely to return, D- experiences, service was completely atrociously awful.

We were not checked on regularly, were not offered refills, and were not asked about our experience with the food. Additionally, there were some concerning hygiene practices. She handled drinkware by the rims, and her hair was worn down while serving food and drinks, which raises concerns about cleanliness if hair were to come into contact with items being served. Service was also delayed, as she appeared to be on her phone multiple times before completing our payment. When I chose to switch from card to cash, her response came across as unprofessional. I was also surprised to see a $1.30 surcharge for card payments. While the fee itself is not the primary issue, it was not disclosed anywhere on the menu or within the restaurant, which makes it feel misleading. Lastly, I was incorrectly charged three times for a drink despite only receiving one refill. Overall, the service and lack of transparency made for a frustrating experience, the food was decent though for the price!! especially if theres "2 mexicans in the back" cooking up AMERICAN food.

If you're a beer drinker, they have a massive selection on tap (about 90 taps--and no, that's not a typo!). They also have a large patio that looks like a great spot when the weather is nice. Inside, there's a good mix of low-tops, high-tops, banquettes, and booths. All the tabletops feature copper tops with wood trim, and exposure to water and food over time has given each table a unique patina. We arrived right as they were switching over from the brunch menu to dinner, and the staff made us feel very welcome. What We Ordered: Smoked Brisket Reuben Eggrolls: We ordered these special eggrolls for the table. My friend has a shellfish allergy, and since many traditional eggrolls contain shrimp, he was excited to try these. He said they were the best eggrolls he's ever had (though he admitted he doesn't eat them often!). He paired it with a Guinness Zero non-alcoholic draught and was amazed by how close it tasted to the original. Fish Tacos ($19): Recommended by another reviewer, these come with three cornmeal-battered, fried Mahi-Mahi tacos topped with cilantro lime cream and fresh micro cilantro. They were crispy and very tasty. If you're usually sensitive to cilantro, you might still enjoy these--I mostly tasted a bright, lemony freshness rather than heavy cilantro. Sides (Broccoli Rabe & Asparagus): I substituted chips for a vegetable side. Due to a mix-up in the kitchen, I got to try the broccoli rabe first, though it turned out way too spicy for anyone at our table. My actual order was asparagus--my absolute favorite--but it was a bit disappointing, as the bottom half of each stalk was woody and fibrous. Fish & Chips ($21.50): My friend went with this traditional entry. At that price point, he was expecting three fillets, but he couldn't finish the two that were served and took some home. Overall, a solid entrée. Classic Breakfast ($15.50): My husband got this from the brunch menu. He was very pleased with the scrambled eggs, potatoes, thick-sliced bacon, and sausage links. Overall, a solid visit with great variety on the menu!

My husband and I ordered the boneless chicken wings and steak tacos because those were the specials on the menu that night. The boneless chicken wings had a really bad flavor to them. I bit right into a big piece of gristle or cartilage in the steak tacos. The cheese, lettuce and tomato added no flavor to the tacos. The last item we tried was the French fries because I thought that they would be safe. I was wrong. There was no flavor to the fries, not even salt. After visiting, I honestly think a lot of the crowd comes from it being a great sports bar atmosphere. We ordered the nachos, a wood-fired margarita pizza, chocolate cake, and gelato. The nachos were definitely my favorite savory item--they tasted really fresh, and I especially liked the guacamole. The chocolate cake was also delicious, and the gelato was easily the highlight of the meal. I'd absolutely come back just for the gelato. The only thing that disappointed me was the margarita pizza. I specifically ordered it because I was craving a classic wood-fired margarita pizza, but it had a different flavor than I expected. It seemed like there was Parmesan cheese on top, which isn't typical for the style I was looking for, and it threw off the overall taste for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back for the nachos and gelato. The pizza just wasn't my favorite, but I'd still recommend giving Enzo's a try.
