Bow Tie In Vodka Sauce (I chose penne)

Nestled within a charming, rustic setting, Tree Guys Restaurant offers a heartwarming dining experience that's sure to delight food enthusiasts. This family-owned establishment might not boast upscale decor, but its inviting atmosphere and remarkable cuisine more than make up for it. During my visit, I had the pleasure of sampling their 10" Tree Guys Favorite pizza and the Spinach, Garlic, and Ricotta Cheese pizza. Both selections were nothing short of amazing, with the Tree Guys Favorite standing out for its perfect blend of flavors and the Spinach, Garlic, and Ricotta offering a delightful balance of creamy and savory notes. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Penne Pasta in Vodka Sauce. Accompanied by a soup, Pasta Fagioli, this dish exceeded all expectations. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the rich, flavorful vodka sauce was out of this world. The Pasta Fagioli, a hearty and delicious soup, was a delightful surprise and a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality. Tree Guys Restaurant may not offer an upscale ambiance, but its old-world charm and warm, welcoming environment create a cozy dining experience. The exceptional food makes this spot a must-visit. Whether you're a pizza lover or a pasta aficionado, Tree Guys promises a memorable culinary adventure. The server was very nice and friendly.

We went here for my husband's birthday. We sat at a table that wasn't ideal right by the bar entrance door. The door was practically hitting my sister in law everytime patrons were going from the bar to restaurant dining area. Not a good table to sit patrons at if you ask me. Onto the food now. The pizza was just okay. They put a good amount of sausage on it. The crust was subpar. My sister in law really liked her chicken wrap and fries. I did try their fries which had a nice seasoning on them and their ranch dressing was homemade. Overall, this pizza place is just average. The service is good but the food is nothing to brag about.

Was on the pub side of the business, took advantage of happy hour specials. The steak tacos were great, and the beer nuggets were fantastic (props to the marinara). Beer cold n fresh, service on point. I'd return for sure.

We decided to come for my sons 5th birthday and I've gotta say it was a success our server Carla was great all staff was helpful and kind beginning to end. We ordered a sausage pepperoni on top of pizza. A sausage, green pepper and onion and a cheese. Everything was great tasting will definitely be back

Wicked burger new to the menu! Sat outside. Wonderful service and environment. Zombie Dust was a fine addition as a beverage! Ribs are back on the menu too! Always a great stop local joint.

Margarita pizza with pepperoni and eggplant sandwich

We started with the baked potato soup which was quite bland, the texture was slightly gritty. Then we tried the Margarita Pizza, but we're pepperoni Fanatics so we had a slap some of that on there. Turned out quite delicious the crust is a little thick for my liking but still delicious. Eggplant parmesan sandwich was better than expected will definitely reorder. I really like the marinara that came on the sandwich but when I asked for a side of it was different AKA pizza sauce. Sat in the bar area cuz the dining room was quite busy for Thursday night. The chairs were not very comfortable. But I like having the TVs around so I didn't have to make a lot of conversation. Lol

Stopped in for lunch after hitting the nature walk nearby. They have a huge outdoor seating area with a tent for shade and fans. Service was quick and friendly and they let me bring my dog on their patio. Not sure if they are always dog friendly, but they were today. Workers are wearing masks, hand sanitizer is available, and they have enough space to social distance properly. So they are on point with safety measures. They have a variety of sandwiches, wraps, pizza, and appetizers on their menu. We went with the combo appetizer and everything was really tasty. Light crispy batter. No heavy oily texture, which is what typically turns me off of fried food. Green beans were still fresh and crisp tasting. Onion rings were nice thick Vidalia onions, or that's what they tasted like. Jalapeno poppers were spicy and delicious. They give you 2 cream cheese and 2 yellow cheese. Mozzarella sticks were solid. The ranch, marinara, and BBQ sauces were all good as well. The beer was cold, but be specific if you don't want draft as that seems to be their default. Luckily their draft was fine and cold. But I've had bars not clean their taps, and I don't chance it by choice anymore. I've only been once so far, but this was a good lunch stop in a convenient location and their prices are reasonable. Will be back.

    Delicious Hot Wings !
    Krystle N.

Tree guys was yummy as usual. Parking was very packed. We always get buffalo wings and pizza on Thursday. They have a variety of food, beers, and beverages. Overall service was great, but the pizza took a little over an hour to get to us after ordering. I give them the benefit of the doubt because this is the first time this has happened (maybe due to a large order before ours). Sorry, no pictures of pizza, as soon as it hit the table we were at it! Be careful, comes out piping hot. Great family owned restaurant. We will be back!

    Miller time.

Not only have I received 22 emails in 22 days reminding me to make a payment on this horrible purchase experience. Was informed yesterday by the owner of a website I frequent and use there pinball forum that Jack was complaining about posts related to Jersey Jack and claimed he did nothing more than issue me a refund, Two sides to every story and needless to say the owner of this website is doing nothing to shut me up. At this point annoyed I tried to contact Jack to ask him for a truce. He again claimed no fault after going behind my back trying to shut me up on a website I enjoy using, a public forum. Freedom speech is a great thing in america and I will continue to use this. He also said I should delete all lies from yelp. Calling me a liar again and again made stupid comments about my own company. I am now blocking his emails and phone number. Will not be harassed further about this sale. I am now done with this company in so many ways other than the daily reminder to make a payment on a cancelled order. Instead of just saying sorry for being a jerk he tried to silence me from my right to speak. In a million years I will not put one of these machines in my home or support his company in any way shape or form. My advice steer far away from this company and do not fall for his used car salesman tactics and two year preorder program with zero guarantee of a finished game. Hopefully my daily reminders of this purchase will somehow magically stop but I have my doubts.

Anyone that has played Jersey Jack's Wizard of Oz Pinball machine has to be enthused about the…read moreadaptation, itself and also about the company's willingness to go above and beyond to include new technology in pinball machines. I have owned the WOZ machine since it's release and it is still heavily played in my household. This development and implementation of new ideas, and the commitment to producing a stellar game inevitably led to delays in production of their newest Hobbit machine, and the delay may have been in part responsible for the other reviewers unhappiness. Because the review predates the machines release, it cannot reflect the Hobbit game itself. I am also curious why a one star review never really addresses what the original issue and complaint was? My personal experience with the family and company at Jersey Jack has been remarkable from day one. From the fact that they answer the telephone each and every time I call, which I love, to the exceptional follow up of each sale or issue, I am absolutely a fan of both the product and the company. In 2013 I placed a deposit on a $7500 Hobbit LE machine with what I thought was a Jersey Jack Distributor. Forward to 2016 and that other company indicated that the machine which I had purchased was no longer $7500, the price on the invoice, but was instead $9500. Obviously this type of business practice does not warrant reward, and I quickly got on the phone with Jen at Jersey Jack, (who acknowledged that the price would have been honored by one of their distributors, in fact by anyone with any character or business acumen.) In fact, overhearing part of the conversation with Jen, the owner Jack took the time to get on the phone with me, listen to my predicament, and offer a solution. He promised a signed machine before Summer with an improved and correct price. He also offered to assist me if I had an issue retrieving my deposit. All of this was above and beyond what was necessary, yet was consistent with each of my interactions with Jersey Jack Pinball. I am looking forward to any machine that this company produces. ONCE UPON A TIME.......IN LOMBARD…read more This beloved indoor entertainment center is still hanging in there after 40+ years. I'll admit, I didn't have "attend a work outing at Enchanted Castle" on my 2025 bingo card, yet here we are. I found myself reminiscing about birthdays from the past, how many tokens I spent here as a preteen, and what on earth I was doing at a kids entertainment center with a group of engineers. As they've been since 1983, Enchanted Castle on Roosevelt Rd in Lombard is a one-stop shop for fun.  They have party rooms, a large arcade with ticket counter and 7-8 different attractions.  It's like a bigger version of Chuck E Cheese with a medieval theme, a Dave & Busters aimed at kiddos. You can pay for things a la carte, or get a $40 "max pack" that gets you a $15 game card and access to any 3 attractions.  Our large group hit up the arcade, mini golf, laser tag, and go karts.  One staffer helped us out during our time here, and kudos to her for being patient when we couldn't make up our minds on what to do next. I'll start with the best: the go karts ($9/pp).  Although the track itself is small and not terribly exciting, these go karts were peppy and handled well.  You get a decent number of laps, too, and it must be popular enough to warrant having its own dedicated entrance off to the right - Castle Karts. Next came laser tag ($9/pp).  The packs seemed heavy, but the guns were very accurate IMO.  It was a 'capture the flag' objective and despite a small arena, there was just enough space to move around.  They also have Route 66 mini bowling ($5/pp), bumper cars ($5/pp), a scaled down 'Scrambler' type ride ($5/pp), and a playground area with slides ($5/kid). The glow in the dark Black Knight's "Adventure" Golf ($7/pp) was the weak link of the bunch.  9 holes of poorly lit, uninspired putt putt with odd scenery choices - they couldn't decide between skeletons or squires - and lazy hole design led to several in our group bailing partway through.  One girl even twisted her ankle walking around an obstacle!  This is an area that could definitely benefit from a facelift or new attraction. Back in the 90's and early 2000's, Enchanted Castle had a 3D motion theater that played several iWerks films like Dino Island, Alpha One Cowboy, and Red Rock Run.  This wild motion simulator was always the highlight of my visit, but I can't find ANY record of it in web archives..... was this a fever dream?? Their arcade has a mix of new and old, lots of ticket redemption games with flashy shoot-em-ups sprinkled in.  They had Beat Saber VR (for a whopping 24 credits) as well as some vintage games like the one where you use an air cannon to shoot out the clown's teeth.  Many years ago, they had a dedicated area for pinball machines....now they have none.  *sigh* I expected very little from the food and was pleasantly surprised.  The italian beef ($12) was pretty good, no complaints about the fries.  The large appetizer platter ($40) had a little bit of everything: 7 mozza stix, 7 wings, 7 tenders, 12 mini tacos, and 8 pretzel sticks with dipping sauces.  They also had beer on tap @ $6.50 per pint, not too bad. * TL;DR * Enchanted Castle is supposed to be for young'ins, but if you have fun here as a grown-up I won't tell anyone. Being in business for 43 years is no small feat, especially when you consider the sweeping effect COVID had on the realm of indoor entertainment.  I'm amazed (and relieved) that Enchanted Castle's drawbridge has stayed open despite so much volatility in the world.  I don't imagine that the handful of folks we saw on a Thursday afternoon is representative of how much foot traffic EC actually gets. Here's to hoping they have many more years ahead of them, making joyful memories for scores of kids in the western Chicago suburbs.  I'd hate to see an indelible part of my childhood be gone for good. "The handsome prince raced his mighty steed around the go kart track, while the beautiful princess enjoyed several games of Skee-Ball.  And they played happily ever after!"

I grew up coming to this place for birthday parties with my friends. The location to this day is still very organized, clean, and friendly. As for the laser tag itself, they did recently upgrade their guns and they are awesome. I love the shield mode and all kinds of new features. I do have criticisms though that should be addressed: 1. As a regular client, the location is starting to get boring. People know all the secrets, all the lights, all the traps, etc. Can you please consider changing the floor layout every so often to avoid tedium? 2. The decorations inside the arena are starting to show their age. They all look great, but a lot of them are no longer functional. I think upgrading the decorations in the arena would be awesome. 3. The "towers" are a really cool addition to the laser tag games, but the blue tower can be guarded very easily. Unlike the red and yellow towers, there's only two entrances into the blue tower and it can be almost impossible to get points taking it down if two good players are camping there guarding it. 4. The obstacles are barrels and walls. I think it would be cool if the arena had more variety including different shaped barriers or more things to avoid. 5. There's 4 interactive shootable lights around the arena. I think it would be really cool if there were more of those to shoot at. 2 of them turn on lights, while 2 of them just give you points. Overall, LaserX of Addison is wonderful and I'm so happy that the location is still open. I am just on the fence with the upkeep of the arena. The laser tag system is great, but the arena itself does need some improvements. There's not enough updates to keep people wanting to come back to see what's different.
