Chiropractic using the Blair method was not familiar to me prior to finding Seeds of Hope (SOH), but it is the right method of treatment for me. Maintenance is key in any treatment, but it is imperative for me and anyone with spine issues. Traditional medicine is limited to Physical therapy, medications and surgical procedures which can be time consuming, invasive and costly. Chiropractic care is a whole body maintenance and preventative service. I pay out of pocket for my care through an FSA as my health insurance only covers for incidental care and not maintenance care. This is proof in my belief of its importance. Dr. Mike has recommended several supplements for what ails me and now I use them regularly. I could go on and on about how much SOH has benefitted me, but you will have to see for yourself. Just remember, it takes time and consistency to get great results, as with anything worthwhile in life.

Dr. Jim uses a proven technique called applied kinesiology (Google applied kinesiology for more information) to find out what is occurring in your body and how to fix it. His treatments are thorough and he is always able to fix what is broken in a calm and soothing way that often results in immediate release of pain and improved range of motion. Dr. Jim is patient and listens to you, as well as your body to address whatever the issue might be. He has never failed to help me feel better when I see him. I highly recommend him for back and neck pains, as well as headaches and issues sleeping (which are often related to your body's balance.) Try him - you will not be disappointed!

I am still amazed with all of the new tests that he tries on you to make sure you are good to go before leaving his office. He really takes the time with you and cares. Here are some interesting things I remember from my visit: 1. I have figure eight energies. This is apparently bad. Dr. Larsen waved his hands over me to fix this 2. Healing me involves pushing my arms and legs down while touching various points on my body. If he can push my leg down, then my body is out of whack. But after he touched a couple of places, he supposedly couldn't push my legs down anymore. Looked more like he was faking trying to push my limbs down. Like a wrestler. 3. He couldn't push my arm down, so he brought out a bag of pills which he said were "poison" and put them on me. Because the pills were poison, even on the outside of my body, he could push my arm down. He did the same by asking me to say 1+1= 2 and 1+1= 3. Because I was telling a lie, he could push my arm down... 4. He put his fingers in my mouth... I wouldn't go there unless you believe in all sorts of alternative medicine

I never heard of a chiropractor who doesn't believe in cracking. It's a bit of false advertising because THAT'S WHAT CHIROPRACTORS DO. If you're cool with this, then go ahead and see him. 2. He kept telling me I had sciatic pain and he did a lot of stuff to fix that area of my body but I never have had sciatic pain. Hmm. 3. I went in there for neck and shoulder pain, which he did not address. He said it was all connected to the lower back. This may have some truth to it but my neck DID NOT get better AT ALL from the treatment he gave me. And he told me I was "fixed". 4. He does is a lot of energy work. Apparently, my energies were "reversed" and he set my energies all straight. This involved things like holding my arm out and he would press it down. 5. The table was all ripped up. If the treatment had been effective, I wouldn't even mention this but it definitely added to the negative experience.
