AND most of your facial nerves run through it. I meet with Dr Willner for a consult, he explained my options and the risks. I opted for surgery to remove the mass which was cancerous. He was able to dissect the mass from the gland without damaging any of my nerves. It has been 4 1/2 years and I am still cancer free. He has been doing my follow-ups since that surgery date. My two and a half year old daughter has been a patient of Dr. Willner's since she was an infant…read more Typically, she is seen by Dr. Willner at his Huntington Beach office, but we've had appointments at his Long Beach and Newport Beach offices as well. His staff is always friendly and helpful at each of the office locations. Dr. Willner is an excellent surgeon and has a great bedside manner. He has performed five laryngoscopy & bronchoscopy ("L & B" or "scope") procedures on my daughter since early 2012. In August of that year, he also performed Co2 laser surgery to remove a subglottic cyst from her larynx which had developed on account of laryngeal intubation trauma at birth. She was almost six months old but weighed a mere nine pounds at that time, having made her grand but eleven weeks premature entrance in to the world weighing only two pounds. When you are preparing for your child to go under general anesthesia and your anxiety level is elevated, you breathe much easier knowing that she's in such good hands. I'm so glad that we found him! I would highly recommend Dr. Willner to anyone needing an otolaryngologist, both children and adults alike.

ORIGINAL: The front office is absolutely terrible. When making my appointment on the phone, I always ask for new patient forms right away because I have a lot of information to fill out and I don't want to waste time in the office filling it out on a clipboard. First, they gave me the wrong website. How do you not know the website of your place of work if that's where the patient forms are? Then they lost my patients forms. I had to fill out all that information out AGAIN by hand. Then they misplaced my ID and insurance that they just took to make a copy of. All the girls up front just looked at me like lost sheep. One patient came in after me and they couldn't find his prior auth, which was faxed to them. They asked patient instead of looking for it the chart. Another patient had her hands full and was pushing a stroller with a special needs child. Not a single one of them lifted a finger or offered help. Other patients had to help her. I would be embarrassed to be so incompetent and oblivious. If you need an ENT specialist, look elsewhere. I haven't even seen the doctor yet, but no matter how good they are, it's not worth dealing with utter mess up front.

I was basically given a few suggestions and told they could do nothing for me and charged me $750 cash, which I think is absolutely ridiculous. He provided multiple treatment plans in phases, just in case one didn't work. The last phase was TMS, which really showed his integrity , he could have made TMS phase 1 or 2, but he didn't. When I first found the Dizzy & Vertigo Institute, I was completely lost and terrified. After experiencing two bouts of vertigo, my entire world turned upside down. My anxiety (which I had struggled with for many years) was through the roof. I constantly felt like I had this gravitational pull, was unsteady all the time, and honestly felt like I was losing my mind because I had no idea what was happening. I had seen two different ENTs, and both told me, "It's just BPPV. It should go away soon. Give it a couple of months." But no one could explain the constant gravitational pull, the swaying, or the feeling of instability. I was left without answers or guidance, and I became desperate. Finding Dr. Pearce was truly life-changing. During one of the scariest and lowest points of my life, Dr. Pearce gave me something I desperately needed: hope. She not only gave my condition a name, PPPD, but she also told me that it could be treated. To start, in March of 2025 I experience my 1st vertigo episode after waking up to a spinning room. I wasn't sure why it happened but after going to a PT she reported I have BPPV, used the epley maneuver and sent me on my marry way. The only issue is that every month, like clock work I kept having vertigo symptoms, waking up in the middle of the night to the room spinning. I have gone to several ENTs with the same stupid response "take medication, you just have vertigo." As someone who likes to believe they're more holistic, I did not accept that as an answer. I just felt like something must be off. While it was an investment I am so happy I found DVI and Dr. Pearce. She is a literal angel and exactly what I needed at the time!! Finally, a doctor that was able to look at the whole picture and not gaslight me to believe that I am just 32 years old with a bad case of BPPV, crystals flying out of my ear every 3 weeks. She tailored a treatment plan just for me, and supported me though further investigation, including blood work, and looking at the neurology of my brain. I learned that my history of migraines and hormonal imbalance may have continued to vestibular migraines.
