I cannot say enough good things about Lori Esposito at Accurate Hearing Aid Center on Beach…read moreBoulevard in Huntington Beach. She is caring, compassionate and very talented. I started wearing hearing aids about three years ago. I was told by my original audiologist that I have a very narrow left ear canal with a sharp, tight turn. He fitted me with the smallest dome he had, but when he inserted in my ear, it was just too painful to wear. He put an extra wire on the hearing aid which enabled me to wear it while it rested just outside the ear canal. It wasn't great but was better than nothing. I always worried it would fall out of my ear and I'd lose it. I was told a custom ear mold would solve my problem. Late one Friday afternoon, my audiologist put the mold material in my ear. I don't know if it was left in too long, or because of the shape of my ear canal, but the material hardened in my ear and he couldn't pull it out. Since my ENT's office was closed, I went to the ER, and they were also unable to pull it out. It was so painful when they tried! On Monday, I went to my ENT's office where his PA attempted to remove it. It hurt so much that I was near tears. About a week later, my ENT surgically removed the rock-like material that was about the size of a marble. For two years, I wore the hearing aid resting in my ear held with the wire. I was afraid to try another custom mold. I decided to change audiologists and I met Lori. I asked if she could make a mold that would hold the hearing aid in place but not inside my ear canal. After hearing my story, she seemed a little reluctant to take me on. But she said she really wanted to help me and she thought she could do it. The custom mold fits perfectly and painlessly. It does not fall out. I can hear so much better. I couldn't be happier. Lori is the best! I highly recommend her!

I have seen at least 5 ENT doctors before so I've gotten fairly good at catching ENT red flags and…read morethis practice has by far more red flags than almost any other practice I've been to. Here's what I've observed so far over a course of 3 months: 1) I was first referred by my PCP in March and couldn't get an appointment til April. Long wait for appointments, sure ok. Minimal wait time in the waiting room tho so that's good. 2) Most of the time you call during normal business hours, no one picks up. Supposedly they are only closed for lunch from 12-1 but it would take me days of calling at 10am and 2pm to reach someone. 3) Over the last 3 months, I was only ever scheduled with the PA, Phillip. He was PHENOMENAL, helpful, kind, and a huge reason I kept coming back. He was so considerate he even made sure i got in quick so I wouldn't get charged for parking. Guess what? By my 4th visit he was "no longer with the practice". I hope he quit bc if they let him go that's pretty a bad business move on their part lol 4) The two girls at the front desk are ok but Miryam the Surgery scheduler is incredibly rude. I had been open about needing my surgery to be treated with urgency bc I wasn't sure how long I'd still be eligible for insurance. They wouldn't even schedule me until my insurance approved everything so I had to wait weeks to even schedule. Ok fine. But when my insurance actually approved the surgery she kept saying it didn't. She even had the audacity to try to blame/gaslight me and say she didn't send the referral for it earlier bc I was "confused about my insurance". I wasn't confused I just didn't know how long I'd still be eligible for! She never even made an attempt to try to schedule me even before I told her about my insurance. So I filed a complaint with my insurance for negligence and refusal of care and ALL OF A SUDDEN I'm getting contacted multiple times over the course of days (by text) saying that I was approved and there were several surgery appointments available for me to take, appointments that were even sooner than what they had told me before. I'm calling BS on that. It seriously got to a point where I had to ask her "Do you guys even want to do this surgery?" Bc it felt like I had to force them to want to take my business bc they kept pushing my appointments far out and giving me the run around 5) Mind you after 3 months and multiple appointments I haven't even seen or MET Dr. Vakkalanka at this point and she's the one who I'm supposed to trust to operate on my unconscious body and conduct a complex revision septoplasty with turbinate reduction ?? Not even her coming in to say hi hello for two seconds. Extremely scary concept to wrap my mind around. 5) This Yelp page claims they have onsite CT imaging and they do NOT, they sent me to an imaging center for that procedure. That could've been due to my insurance but it's worth mentioning. 6) Did I mention the parking isn't even free after 20 minutes so appointments are rushed to accommodate this? To put into context how poor the service here was, I contacted another ENT to take my business to and I already have an appointment scheduled in 4 days. I had my primary surgery in 2020 that apparently didn't permanently fix my deviated septum in my right nostril or enlarged turbinates blocking my left nostril and these issues have worsened over the years and every day I am abusing Vicks inhalers and Vapo Rub just to get through the day. I can only sleep on my left side but really I have no airflow through either side and I have valve collapse. And I could've been getting help sooner and breathing again but I was trying to be patient and understanding and give the benefit of doubt. Don't waste your time and energy like I did, it's not worth it!

I was just a few months short of being qualified for new hearing aids. My audiologist was Providence I'm Huntington Beach that I was happy with them until the inane COVID hit . They went south and I couldn't even get through and when I did their hours and locations were all screwed up? I called workers comp and they said to find a new audiologist, I did? I had my records sent to All Ears Doctors and scheduled an appointment. Granted the front office clerk is somewhat ditzy at times but Ethan and Dr Paula examined me and Paula told me that I should go to the VA as the VA would provide me with better hearing aids than workers comp. Ethan fixed my existing hearing aids and I was now motivated after 50 years to seek out aid from the VA. It's now 2023 and has been a couple of years since I first went to ALL EARS DOCTORS and recently I got new widex hearing aids from All Ears Doctors. They are even better than the Phonak hearing aids the Va provided. Both have devices that connect to the tv but the WIDEX are even more advanced. Today I have an ear canal problem caused by humidity and the hearing aids. I've seen a nurse practitioner at the VA a couple of times but yer problem still exists. I called Dr .Paul's just in case and she returned my call most promptly. I learned that the office had relocated nearby. Dr Paula explained what I needed to do and scheduled an appointment at the first opportunity. The assistance rendered from the get go has been outdamnstanding. I appreciate what Dr Paula did for me by motivating me to go to the VA. I'm now 100% disabled and permanent thanks to Dr Paula's concern. Before I hadn't applied due to "survivors guilt?" Now I'm happy as a lark, squattin in tall cotton! Semper Fidelis to all of my MARINE CORPS BROTHERS

Yet keep in mind I had an appointment today at 245pm. So Office Staff lady says I make you appointment tomorrow at 545pm. (NOT SURE HOW THAT MAKES ANY SENSE!!!) While we are on the phone at 321pm making the appointment for tomorrow that makes no sense... I get a call from doctor Jackie at the same time and Doctor Jackie left a voice mail at 322pm. But Office Staff Lady says, I will tell her to call you. Still no call back nd I was put on hold until I got disconnected. Still no follow up! I don't know about anyone else but that sounds pretty ridiculous to me that; 1. Office Staff Lady doesn't know how to explain anything properly and doesn't LISTEN when I had an appointment 245pm Today why do I want an appointment for tomorrow at 545pm???? 2.
