She is nothing more than a glorified hearing aid salesperson. I went to four visits and paid my copay every time. I decided not to buy hearing aides because they would not treat my ringing in the ear. 4 months later I get a bill for $5800.33!? I called and they said it was a mistake so I let it go. Now a year later I get a bill for $689.33. She has a bubbly personality, but if you don't drink the Koolade, she will try to rip you off. read more

I was reassured to find that I didn't have egregious hearing loss, and Dr. Massoodnia fitted me for custom hearing protection. First off, I did not actually end up seeing Dr. Massoodnia. But I'm sharing my experience because her staff was so incredibly helpful and supportive that I wanted to acknowledge how unique that felt. I had my first vertigo experience in January and it was unsettling and awful. I did a Yelp/Google search and came across Seaside Audiology. I called and her staff member spoke with me at length about my symptoms. It was so thorough. We had a few more conversations over the next few weeks as my symptoms improved. Usually when I've made medical appointments, I rarely go into much detail at all when booking the appointment. But this experience was unique. The team is so attentive, empathetic, and helpful in providing details about the process as well as answering my billing questions. Fingers crossed that I actually do not have another vertigo episode, but knowing this practice is available is also a huge relief. read more

Dr. Massoodnia is AMAZING!!!! She is passionate about her work and is truly a lovely individual, who deeply cares about her patients. I had severe vertigo for 9 months. I went to 5 different doctors, 1 PT, 1 AuD, 2 Acupuncturists, & 1 Chiropractor trying to resolve this nightmare. I was also religious with home exercises prescribed to me. I was in bad shape and vertigo was effecting my lifestyle and happiness. I was spinning throughout each and every day, which was triggered by my movements and especially when I would lay down or get up. In addition, sometimes I would be off balance and unable to walk a straight line. Life was not real fun. Dr Massoodnia has one of 3 TRV Machines located in United States, which is a repositioning chair enabling her to relocate the misplaced crystals. This equipment was essential for my healing! I had crystals in both the horizontal & vertical canals, which is very unusual. She Cured me when NO ONE else could! I can't begin to thank her enough. Hello, I am so disappointed with your office. I booked an appointment weeks ago, confirmed it days ago, showed up to a locked door yesterday for my appointment, got a message from Amanda that she cancelled my appointment because of insurance issues and said that she called me but never left a message for me. I am suffering from Vertigo. I called Amanda and left a message to call me back as soon as possible. I tried to call Amanda back again but now the voicemail is full. Why wouldn't she have called me weeks ago with their insurance concerns. I can honestly say that I have never been treated so poorly by a doctors office. They literally had weeks to check my insurance and reach out to me about the expenses not covered. But nothing until the cancellation the day of my appointment. Dr. Massoodnia, are you aware of this kind of treatment with your prospective patients? Evidently, Amanda waited till the last minute to check my insurance, so she cancelled without ever talking to me or even leaving a message of concern about insurance. I've visited Seaside Audiology twice now and I'm very impressed with their professionalism and care. I went in for a cleaning and a hearing test on separate visits and encourage anyone to periodically get their ears/hearing checked regardless of age. Dr. Massoodnia and Sasha, the Patient Care/Office Manager are very attentive and knowledgeable. Dr. Massoodnia takes her time to thoroughly explain your results and options with you. Finding a quality audiologist can be difficult. Some offices are "treatment mills" that don't always have their clients best interests. I had none of those feelings with the wonderful and compassionate care that Dr. Massoodnia provided with me. Took my mom for an appointment and when we showed up the office it was closed. I tried to call while I was outside the door waiting but no one answered, so I left them a message. We waited 30 min. Outside the office hoping someone will arrive but no one did. No one called me after I left a message or prior to the appointment to cancel either. I received a call back until Wednesday from the office saying the doctor was out of town and I guess the receptionist was out sick. Very unprofessional due to if they knew the doctor was not going to be there why not cancel prior to that?! I missed a day of work to take my mom to her appointment and for nothing. Came in to see Dr. Massoodnia for custom fitted ear plugs. As a dentist, I'm constantly around high frequency sounds and a drill that I utilize daily, which has taken a toll on my hearing. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a warm and friendly receptionist and then taken back to see Dr. Massoodnia. She made me feel extremely comfortable and after my exam recommended the ear plugs that would suit me best. She walked me through the entire process, which I appreciated and took custom molds for my ears. The ear plugs came back and fit perfectly and I continue to utilize them every day knowing that they will be protecting my ears for the long haul. This was my first experience with anything audiology related. I had been having tinnitis for a couple of months in one ear and wasn't sure what to do about it. At its worst it dulled at least 50% of my hearing. Dr. Roxy was understanding, knowledgeable, and efficient. She diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. I was concerned there would be some pain or discomfort, but there was neither. She is very knowledgeable and skilled. After starting my dental residency this year, I started experiencing ringing in my right ear. Dr. Massoodnia did a wonderful job examining me and explaining why I am at risk for hearing loss as a dentist. I've had vertigo for over ten years and vestibular issues for about 5 years. Dr. Massodnia has tested me extensively and through a series of treatments and home exercises, has been able to successfully treat my conditions. She has helped me to improve my ability to feel comfortable in situations that involve constantly moving objects and reduced spatial/motion triggering events, which had previously resulted in dizziness and migraines.
