Great place to stay! Central to everything which was really nice. The hotel was clean when we…read morearrived. My only complaint is the additional $20 parking fee. And the parking is a short walk around the building. Just FYI! I thought our room came with two parking pass but no you have to pay for it separate.

Overview: Clean rooms, mostly friendly staff service (except for one attendant who was rude),…read morerelaxing location, conveniently connected to a coffee/breakfast place, a bar, and a restaurant. The Good: -Fantastic rate that we booked at the time (mid-April, less than $150/night, stayed for two nights) -Rooms were clean the hotel was mostly quiet -There was room service available from the three adjoining establishments mentioned above. -In Room temperature control worked well, it cooled the room well -Most of the staff was friendly, helpful, professional, kind, and speedy with any questions we asked or requests we had -The bathrooms, the elevators, the hallways... extremely clean. Loved that! -The happenings of the hotel and surrounding places is posted in the elevator in an itinerary style laminate. Very cool. -This may not sound like a big deal... but it is: the TV and remote both worked and made sense! -The location of the hotel is in walking distance of the beach, and bunch of fun restaurants and shops. It has a small town beach vibe to it... but that is the charm! The Bad: -The rooms, though being nice, did have a bit of dilapidation on them. Not sure how, since the place is so new. -One person up front was particularly rude, and when we asked simple questions cut to the quick with rejections or with one-word answers without making eye contact. Typically if we asked another host, the answer was friendly and different, so not sure what this person was going through during our stay. -We booked our stay and were not informed that two days, the restaurant had been rented out for special events. This kept us from enjoying any of the cuisine there. -The reserved parking is around the corner in a gated lot, not connected to the hotel and not covered, so your vehicle will be exposed to the elements. Overall, we loved our stay. And plan to stay again sometime! It's a hidden gem.

First visit. Friendly staff, helped me sign-up for a player's club card…read more Old school slot machines with 6 cent minimum play on many of the penny slots. We both had buffet vouchers for the 50$ all you can eat crab dinner on a Sunday. It wasn't my thing, other party had the patience for them. I did enjoy the shrimp and sliced prime rib. The dessert is definitely a skip, looked all pre-made and long past the sit under the light moment.

Baby I don't know who pissed AJ off tonight in the buffet, but whatever it was it made us invisible…read moreto him. I mean he's asking other tables around us if they're okay, if they need refills, etc., but when it came to our table nothing. Idk if it was because we asked the hostess if we could moved over from a dark table, but that's when it started. It was still his section so I really dk what the problem was. I'm going to assume it was an off day for him, but regardless this was the most horrible service I've ever had here! I mean I asked for a refill, he acknowledges me ( I had to ask, bc he only asked the table that was leaving if they'd like something before they left, meanwhile I'm drinking the last corner of my cup.. HELLOOOO) and he proceeds to go around and clean tables and ask how others are doing? Wtf. Never brought my drink! I had to get an hostess to get me a refill who was spring next up our table. I literally babysat the drink because I knew he wasn't going to ask if I'd like another. Might as well put a drink station on the floor and do away with the servers if that's how they gone be. I don't want to assume it is what I think it is -ism, considering the environment in South Mississippi right now, but that's EXACTLY how it seemed. I was actually mad I didn't have my coin purse to leave spare change tip, I was even gone leave $2. But ultimately said, it would go better towards my gas tank. And no I didn't tell management, I didn't see anyone who looked to care or who would do anything about it. I've only ever experienced the buffet, I don't gamble and have never been up to the hotel portion.
