We drove in from out of state, having booked this hotel as our overnight stay while driving across the U.S. We realized we were not going to make it until about 10 pm so we called ahead to confirm our reservation was still safe. We asked specifically that if we were coming in as late as 10pm or so, would our room still be saved? They confirmed. We got to the hotel at 10pm and were turned away at the front desk, "no vacancy". Best service!! The room was very clean and I loved everything about it. New Orleans is 1 hour away and Gulfport is 20 mins! Rouse Market,dollar tree, Burger King,dominoes, and Waffle House right across. Right down street is a really cool place called Camp House!! The pool was nice too! The breakfast was bomb! The workers were extremely nice if they had a problem they told me the parent not my kids! I loved this hotel only the laundry was kinda pricey but I would def stay again. read more

I like this hotel! Compared to the others that were booked and rude or whatever else. This one was very nice, available, and accommodating. It was not dirty or did not have any bugs! The price was right too! Service: 4.5 stars (they didn't have breakfast available, but the front desk Eric was very friendly! Thank you!) Cleanliness: 4 stars (there was a bit of a smell in the room, they need a fragrance of some kind. But once you turn the AC on, it's fine. The bed sheets were still damp once you pull them from under the bed. I think housekeeping needs to dry the sheets a bit more before putting it in the bed. Price: 5 stars! Stayed here for two weeks while doing work in the area and they were doing renovations the entire time. Renovations and making the property better is all well and good, but when they're working well into the night (it's 10:30pm as of this review) the hammering, sawing, etc. makes it impossible to relax and rest for the next day of work. One night it was going on at 8:30pm I spoke to a lady at the front desk about it and she made it stop right away, for which I thanked her for her effort. Tonight I spoke to a man who did nothing but insist that they had a job to finish. Again, I appreciate and respect that they're trying to make the property better, but it's common courtesy to stop this kind of work at a respectable hour to allow your guests a restful evening. My job is carrying me elsewhere since we finished the job here, but if we're in the area again, I'll insist we not stay here. read more

This is a great place to stay if you're not looking for a fancy 5-star hotel. I was in town for 2 weeks doing storm repair in New Orleans. It's very clean, has great service and a free continental breakfast. The manager was not only very friendly, he went out of his way to make sure that I had what I needed while there. There's a decent Mexican restaurant right next door as well as a nice convenience store. Across the interstate there is a Waffle House and Burger King and Dairy Queen as well as a sports bar. If you're traveling across the country and need a place to stop for a night or two, this place is for you. read more

Let me tell you about these rude non customer service thieves that run this place. One day stay woke up with owners wife beating at door. Get up find my shirt and open door half a sleep she's screaming she smells smoke. First nonsmoker second I was asleep. Woman talks down to me as if I'm a child. She walks off then get email of 100 dollar charge for smoking. Get dressed speak to husband explain rude and offensive encounter with wife. Seems to not care. I can not stand to things in this world a thief or a lier. The last time I was here had to be moved rooms for bed bugs was moved to a clean room so gave them a second chance. Wound be a third. So working to all stay here you may be woken up with owners wife on a rant and stealing your money from the front desk. Man will be disappointed. We checked into the room and the windows were so dirty that we asked them to move us to another room. After that they kind of tried to make it up to us with a breakfast that we gladly accepted. We will be back but they have got to clean this place up. read more

This review will be in two parts as I stayed here 2 times 5 days apart. Read on and you will understand. My wife and I were headed to LA and needed a place to stay on the way. The one caveat, we had out little dog with us so that really narrowed our hotel choices. I usually stay at "Choice Hotels" and reap the reward points when we have time for ourselves. This place looked ok and takes dog's. The room was large, a "suite". It was marginally clean. The main problem was the air conditioner. It blew hard and was almost cool, not COLD, cool. This one is alway important to us. It was late so no changing if rooms. The next day at checkout I spoke to the manager about not having the same room on our next stay and explained the air conditioner didn't work. He was very nice an had me go to the room with him to see what was up. To him the air worked fine but I explained it was not cold enough (it really wasn't). He said no problem and I left. Next stay. I was put in a different room this time and the air worked much better. I do have to say my wife and I keep it very cold so there was nothing wrong with the first room but it wouldn't really get COLD. The staff were very helpful! read more

I checked in on a Friday and left on a Sunday because I had to go to a funeral and as soon as we got there they were already being rude. I stayed in a 2 bed room and there was 6 people in one room so we needed a lot of pillows and they gave one room a pillow take in mind I had two bedrooms with at least six in each and they gave a person two pillows but they didn't give us any even tho that we had two rooms because we already had a pillow then the the drain wouldnt go down in the bath even when u took a shower then the people there had the pool open when we where supposed to be social distancing and there we at least 15 people there at all times and the employees were always on their personal phones when we told the employees that we were gonna leave a bad review they told us to go ahead and let me mention the cool air wasn't even cool it was burning hot all in all I wouldn't recommend this hotel this is one of the worst hotels I have ever been to if I could rate it a zero I would the only good thing that I would say was good about the hotel is the WiFi and before I get to mention it the rooms and towels smell like sewage water and so does the water read more

For a one star hotel it is what it's suppose to be. It was clean with a bed, shower, and toilet. No frills, but you don't expect any.
